Who REALLY Shot Olivia?

Everyone believes that Carly set the hit in motion to have Shawn shoot Franco. Sonny and Dante are furious, Shawn and Carly are overcome with guilt, and Franco is relieved to be alive. But was the bullet really meant for Franco? There was another shooter and the target wasn’t Franco… Someone is gunning for Olivia (literally)! Is Connie next? But who? Why? Tune in to General Hospital tomorrow, Monday, June 24th for the big reveal!

Will Olivia Survive?

Everyone in Port Charles is pulling for Olivia to make it through. Some with genuine love, and others with a combination of  true emotion and personal benefit. A lot is riding on Olivia’s fate. Will she survive? If she dies, Shawn has to live with what he has done, Carly may meet her demise, Dante loses a Mother, and Connie loses her cousin and best friend.

Connie vs. Kate: Who is Real and Who is the Alter?

Since last week, Kate has come back to Sonny, but things aren’t back to normal quite yet. She is still having visions of Connie in the mirror, and Connie is still out to take over. While arguing about Sonny, Connie told Kate she had a real connection with him. In response, Kate informed Connie that she is unable to have a real connection with anyone, considering she is not even a real person. To Kate’s surprise, Connie replied with stating that SHE is the real person. We have been wondering this since Connie emerged. If we think about it, She was born Constanza Louise Falconeri, and not until later in life, after a traumatic experience, did she assume the name Kate Howard. I think Kate has a long road to self discovery… I would bet on Connie being the real person and Kate is the alter. What do you all think? General Hospital Blog Meets The Falconeri Girls!

This weekend, for the first time coming to the Midwest, Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), and Kelly Sullivan, (Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri), had fan events in Chicago on Saturday and Detroit on Sunday. The ladies talked with fans in a question/answer setting and also open discussion. Lisa and Kelly are equally hilarious, animated, and full of energy. It was such a pleasure being able to meet and talk with them both.

Since Lisa is from Grosse Pointe, Michigan  it was nice to be able to talk with her about things we all knew from growing up in relatively the same area. She is a genuine person and really cares about her fans! Also, her parents were at the event and I was lucky enough to have sat at the same table as her Mom, who is a very nice, and intelligent woman. We engaged in conversation, anything from the old neighborhoods of Detroit, to Michigan weather, and schools. It is obvious that Lisa is hugely supported by her loving family.

Kelly is so great. I love her energy. She is full of laughs and jokes, and seems to be the type who is up for anything. Talking with Kelly one on one was a great experience because I was able to see how much she enjoys her job and how much she appreciates her fans.

The two ladies discussed what it’s like on the set of GH, from learning lines, to rehearsing, to the grueling yet gratifying experience of it all. We learned that Lisa was sought out to be a Brenda recast at first, also auditioned some for the role of Kate, and the writers/producers told her they had something that would be PERFECT for her… Olivia! Kelly revealed that when she auditioned for Kate/Connie she had no real expectation of every getting the role. She said all the other girls auditioning had dark hair and looked the part of an Italian girl from Brooklyn. She even sang a little song we all know, “One of these things is not like the other…” when joking about herself in the mix. When she got the call that the part was hers, she was in shock, happy shock. We are all so glad the the “one that didn’t fit it” got the part! Although both women are fun, full of energy and love to laugh, they also exude professionalism. It seems like such hard work from what they had described, and they do an amazing job.

Overall, my experience with the Lisa and Kelly event was nothing short of fantastic. I would gladly do it again and am excited for another opportunity.

Thank You to elitefanevents.com and to Lisa and Kelly and their team for giving this Mid-west event a go. And thank you Lisa and Kelly for your genuine support of your fans!

Who is Connie Falconeri’s Son?

Now that we know the truth about Connie and her baby, as this story unfolds, I am sure Connie will reunite with her son in some way. So who is Connie’s son? I have heard two potential names thrown around. First, and in my opinion, the best outcome, is Spinelli. We already know that Spinelli was raised by his Grandmother, not his parents, so there is an opening right there. I would like her son to end up being a very relevant character not a newbie like the second name I read floating around. Some question whether Trey, the producer of Mob Princess is Connie’s son. I really hope this isn’t the case. I am not a fan of this character and he has no relevance or importance to GH. He has been on for about five minutes! Obviously, both of these potential people could be completely wrong. So, who would you want to see as Connie’s young adult son?

Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri: 17 Again!

After watching Kate today, I realized something. I remembered that a while back when people would talk about children she would get uneasy. At one point she was talking to Lucky about having kids. I am recalling that it’s always been a touchy subject for her and figured it dated back to when she was with Sonny as a teenager. Well it’s all coming together now. Kate, now only knowing herself as Connie, a 17 year old Bensonhurst girl in love with her boyfriend Sonny, thinks she is pregnant. Shit just got real for Kate/Connie! This DID is deeper than we all imagined, and Kate is going to need all the help she can get. Only time will tell us what happened to her child way back then. Will Sonny have yet another child out there somewhere in the world? Kelly Sullivan must be worn out from crying and freaking out all the time. She is doing a fantastic job and is a spectacular actress. She really pulls the audience in and keeps us wanting more.

Ok Who Is Real, Kate or Connie?

Alright, we all know that she was born Constanza Louise Falconeri, from Bensonhurst, NY and changed her name to Kate Harwicke Howard on her life journey to becoming a fashion editor. She changed her name and changed her life to try and “better” herself from her upbringing. Katie’s cousin Olivia Falconeri still has a hard time with calling her cousin Connie, Kate. Kate has now developed a split personality none other than her birth identity, Connie. So if you really think about it, who is the real one? Who should Dr. Keenan be trying to get rid of? Connie or Kate? Kate has had us all believing she is this high class fashion professional named Kate Howard and Connie Falconeri was thing of the past. Now that Connie is back, who should stay and who should go? It seems to me Kate was the made up alter ego, and Connie has been buried deep inside. Connie is rough around the edges, she speaks before she thinks, and she definitely has a wild streak. But just because Kate is the poised and collected one doesn’t mean she is the real one. Maybe all these years of pushing Connie deep into her subconscious, Kate has damaged herself and all the time and effort spent to change her life. I am interested to see what will come of this once she finally seeks psychological help.

Kelly Sullivan Rocks it as Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri

Monday’s episode was EXPLOSIVE! (Literally). Connie Falconeri blew up at Jason (Steve Burton) today. Kelly Sullivan is doing an amazing job playing these two parts. One minute she is Kate Howard, a sophisticated, professional, and poised woman, and the next she is acting erratically and out of control as Connie Falconeri. It must take a lot of hard work and concentration to pull off those two polar opposite personalities. Watching Kelly Sullivan pull this off has been pure entertainment and I can’t wait to see what’s next. She really knows how to bring it in every scene! Today’s scene with Jason was awesome. For the first time Kate heard the voice of Connie in her head and it was driving her absolutely insane. As Kate, she tried so hard to keep her composure then lost it and ended up screaming in front of Jason. Dr. Keenan better get through to Kate ASAP before she turns into Connie for good! Keep watching!
