General Hospital fans were hit with a whirlpool of emotion after Thursday night’s special television event. The primetime special showcased 60 years of ABC’s General Hospital. It’s true that many have come and gone, but some leave lasting memories. As GH recaps recall, Steve Burton surprised fans with a shocking announcement.

General Hospiral News reports confirm that Steve Burton returns to General Hospiral as Jason Morgan. And with that leaves fans questioning another fan favorite. Reportedly, Ingo Rademacher and Steve Burton were t let go at the same time, which was back in 2021. GH recaps recall that the news came as a shock to fans as we learned they were both fired. Rademacher and Burton’s time at GH was done due to non-compliance with the covid vaccine mandate. Apparently, Rademacher filed for a religious exemption and was denied. That’s when the daytime soap vet filed a lawsuit to Disney/ABC. Currently, the appeal process is underway.

According to General Hospital news, Ingo has released a statement regarding his job at Disney/ABC. A recent social media post showcases Ingo in a video, explaining the situation. The former GH star mentioned that he’s in the appeal process with damning evidence of unlawful termination.

Moreover, Rademacher calls out former co-star Nancy Lee Grahn. He makes mention of double standards and hypocrisy in relation to what lead to his GH status.

…Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is one of those chill guys that you can count on to diffuse a heated situation, or be your Knight in shining armor. He’s a family man and loves to be around whenever his business life doesn’t whisk him away to Australia.

According to previous GH news reports, Ingo Rademacher left General Hospital in November, 2022. The news came as a shock to GH fans as reports confirmed Ingo Rademacher was let go. As GH recaps recall, ABC issued a Covid vaccine mandate. However, due to religious reasons, Rademacher files for religious exemption and was denied. Ultimately, Ingo and ABC parted ways. Furthermore, Ingo filed a lawsuit against his employer, but case was dismissed.

Is Jasper Jax Returning to GH?

General Hospital news reports confirm that the Disney corporation terminated their Covid-19 vaccine mandate in November, 2022. Since then, Ingo’s case against the company was dismissed. It’s unclear whether the 25 year GH vet has any bad blood on set, or if he’d even consider a comeback after how things unfolded. What we do know is that Ingo Rademacher remains friends with many of his former co-stars and GH family.

Overall, Rademacher is doing well and carrying on with his wife and children. At this time it’s unlikely Ingo will reprise his role. Sadly, there’s no word about Jax flying into Port Charles on his private jet. But keep checking back for new developments!

Ingo Rademacher (Jax) Headed Back to General Hospital

Actor Ingo Rademacher originated the role of Jasper Jacks back in 1996. He has been lucky enough to be romantically involved with some of the most iconic characters on daytime. Jacks has been involved with Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) off an on since the late 1990s. He has also been the love interest of Skye Chandler Quartermaine (Robin Christopher), Chloe Morgan (Tava Smiley), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and most recently, Carly Corinthos Jacks (Laura Wright).

A cause for celebration may be in store for General Hospital fans who are also fans of the charming and handsome, Jasper Jacks. In a recent tweet by Ingo, he made it known that he would enjoy coming back to General Hospital, particularly to work with Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos Jacks).

Carly and Sonny are just about to heat things up again. Wouldn’t it be just like Jax to bust on into Port Charles and ruin Sonny’s chance with Carly? Jax and Sonny have always been at odds, especially when fighting over their women. Brenda and Carly have both had their fair share of being in the middle of these two men.
