Teresa Castillo OUT?! Will Sabrina’s New Attitude Lead Her Right Out of Port Charles?

General Hospital’s Teresa Castillo (Sabrina Santiago) has recently returned to work after being on maternity leave this past Summer. She and her husband, Shane Aaron welcomed their first baby, Victoria, on May 29th, 2014. When her character Sabrina Santiago left Port Charles, she went to Puerto Rico to be with her cousin Juan Santiago (Michael Saucedo) and the rest of her family to aide in the grieving process after losing her infant son, Gabriel. While she was away, Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), the father of Sabrina’s baby, did some investigating with P.I. pal, Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco). They set out to find answers to who drove the car off the road, causing Sabrina to go into premature labor and ultimately the death of her baby boy. When Sabrina returned, Patrick had some answers for her regarding the crash, as did her ex-fiance Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). When Sabrina went to visit Carlos in jail, he revealed to her that he thinks Ava Jerome (Maura West) was the one who put Rafe (Jimmy Deshler) up to running them off the road.

Sabrina has a new personality since she has been back to Port Charles. After learning from Patrick that someone was deliberately trying to hurt them, and Carlos telling her that Ava was involved, Sabrina has a one track mind on revenge. Since she thinks that Ava is the one who told Rafe to cause the accident, Sabrina wants revenge on Ava and her unborn child. She is headed down a dark path, and acting like a completely different person. What does this mean for Sabrina’s future?

General Hospital Rumors say that this change in character is leading her right out of Port Charles. It has been rumored that actress Teresa Castillo will be leaving General Hospital, and this new story line with Sabrina is just the way the writers are going to prepare for her exit.

General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated with any information regarding the possible exit of Teresa Castillo. At this point there as been no confirmation of this news.

Jimmy Deshler (Rafe Kovich) “I guess it was a surprise to all of us.”

Nobody saw it coming. The quiet, sweet kid with the sociopathic father, and a vampire loving mother. His Father is gone, he watched his mother get murdered before his eyes. Sam Morgan adopted Rafe and made him part of her family. He fell in love with her sister, Molly, but her feelings were not reciprocated. His uncle Silas fought Sam for custody, only to give in and realize Rafe was better off with Sam. Silas and Sam then fell in love. Rafe had a tough life and he eventually turned to drugs. Still, nobody saw it coming. The writers had Rafe be responsible (physically) for running Patrick and Sabrina of the road, which ultimately killed their son. It came as a shock to us all when Molly and Rafe were involved in a high speed police chase, crashed, and Rafe ended up brain dead. They even teased us a little more when Nina was hallucinating that Rafe was awake and speaking to her.

It looks as though the fans were not the only one shocked by Jimmy Deshler’s exit from General Hospital and the death of his character Rafe. In a recent Soaps in Depth interview, Deshler explains that his character’s demise was shocking news to him as well. He learned that Rafe would pass away only days before having to tape the episode. “I guess it was just confidential and they didn’t want any of the story getting out, so I found out the Monday of the week it was happening. I guess it was a surprise to all of us,” he tells Soaps in Depth.

Deshler has been a part of the GH family since January of 2013. Although it is sad to see him go, there is no doubt Deshler will succeed in any project he pursues next. He disclosed to SID that there is a possibility he will be attending college, and focusing on someday being a part of the big screen. “I have kid of set it as my goal to get a feature film and have that be my next project I work on.”

We already miss that sweet face!

As much as we hope Victor Cassadine has him frozen in a cryogenic chamber with Jason Morgan, it looks as the Rafe will not be returning from the dead for the foreseeable future.

Ron Carlivati Explains Why Lucy Didn’t Say Goodbye to Rafe

If you know Port Charles and General Hospital history regarding the relationship between Lucy Coe and Rafe Kovich, you were probably wondering why Lucy wasn’t there by his side at the time of his passing. Fans were outraged at the fact that the only person who knew Rafe as a child (other than his uncle Dr. Silas Clay), was not there for him when he needed comfort from family the most.

Although Lucy wasn’t there at the time of Rafe’s death, it was shown that Lucy had found out the tragic news after the fact. Lucy stumbled into The Floating Rib and she was crying. She was able to express her feelings to her good friend, Felicia.

General Hospital’s Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, explains why Lucy wasn’t present in the hospital when Rafe died. “There was so much story going on at the hospital with Molly and Rafe, with Alice.” he said. “It was one more character to add into that mix and the days just became too big and too complicated. So, we decided to give Lucy her own separate moment after the fact (to mourn Rafe).”

Let us know what you think. Do you agree or disagree with Carlivati’s decision?

Will Patrick Fall for Sam and Still Keep the Secret About Jason?

Sam and Patrick have been friends for a long time. They have been there for each other through the hard times. Patrick was the one who operated on Jason when his life was hanging in the balance. He saved Jason for Sam and only Sam. At that time, Patrick blamed Jason for the death of Robin, as she was trying to come up with a cure for Jason in the lab when it blew up. Dr. Drake was hesitant to perform surgery on Jason to due the nature of his career. He felt that Jason’s life wasn’t worth saving until Sam stepped in and pleaded with him to save Jason so she wouldn’t be left without a husband.

Sam was there for Patrick when he needed a shoulder to lean on when he was trying to let go of Robin in order to move on with Sabrina. Patrick gave Sam advice when she was unsure about her relationship with Silas. Sam also was in Patrick’s corner when Robin decided to leave him and Emma shortly after finally being reunited with her family. Unknowingly to Sam, Robin is away trying to save Jason’s life and Patrick is keeping the secret from Sam.

Patrick has recently suffered the tragedy of losing his son in a car accident. His good friend and P.I. Sam, has been helping him through it all emotional as well as aiding in the investigation to find out who caused their car to run off the road. Through this journey together, Patrick and Sam have grown much closer. They found out that the car that ran Patrick and Sabrina off the road belonged to Silas, and the one driving the night of the accident was Rafe. Rafe is Silas’ nephew and Sam’s foster son. Sam is even standing by Patrick after the operation on Rafe took a turn for the worse which left her foster son brain dead.

As Sam and Patrick grow closer, they may even fall in love. However, Patrick is keeping a very large secret from Sam. Will Patrick’s guilt keep him from taking a step towards a romantic relationship with Sam? Or will Patrick fall in love with her just as Jason is due to return to Port Charles?

If Sam and Patrick begin a romantic relationship, when it comes out that Patrick has known this whole time that Jason could possibly be brought back to her, it is hard to believe that Sam would ever forgive him. Perhaps Patrick should come clean before they get involved romantically.

Haley Pullos (Molly Davis Lansing) Weighs in on Tomorrow’s GH

Even though the episode on Friday, July 4th was a repeat, there was still quite the cliffhanger on Thursday’s episode. A scared and confused Molly was riding passenger in Silas’ car, with Rafe Kovich as the driver. Rafe has done the unthinkable and is running away instead of facing the people he hurt. Lives were shattered after Patrick and Sabrina were ran off the road coming home from Emma’s dance recital. Rafe admitted to Molly that he was behind the wheel that night and caused the accident. However, he also disclosed that it wasn’t an accident, he wasn’t high, and that someone put him up to it. Molly was shocked but before she could find out who would talk Rafe into such a thing, Rafe crashed into the road block the police set up to catch him. Both kids are unconscious and unresponsive. In the preview for the next episode Sam is standing over Molly yelling “She isn’t waking up!”

Fans are dying to know if actress Haley Pullos and/or actor Jimmy Deshler are leaving General Hospital. Will Rafe and Molly survive the accident? Find out this week on General Hospital!

Haley Pullos sent out a tweet to General Hospital fans, reminding them not to miss General Hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 7th. Check out what she had to say in her tweet below.

“It Wasn’t an Accident, Molly!” Who Put Rafe Up to the Unthinkable?

Patrick, Sam, Silas, and other residents of Port Charles are finally about to wrap up the “who done it” story involving the car accident involving the death of Sabrina and Patrick’s baby, Gabriel. For weeks it has looked as though Rafe was responsible for running Patrick, Sabrina, and Emma off the road the night of Emma’s dance recital. There was a lot going on that night as Ava threatened Carlos by claiming he would warn him with targeting Sabrina. Fluke also warned little Spencer Cassadine to keep his mouth shut to Sonny or he would hurt his little Emma Drake. Then through the cocaine using Rafe Kovich into the mix. Now that we know that Rafe was in fact driving the car that ran Patrick and Sabrina off the road, then next twist keeps us wondering why.

In an intense getaway with Molly in the car, Rafe told her that he was not high when he ran the car off the road. He proceeded to tell her that it wasn’t an accident and that someone put him up to it. But who? Why? There are a couple theories…

Fluke. He is ruthless and extremely dangerous and obviously has no reservations about hurting a child. Whose to say he didn’t make Rafe cause the accident in exchange for drugs since Rafe is lacking in the finance department.

Nina. She caught Rafe with cocaine, and now she wants to blackmail him. She easily could have had him run them off the road in order to try and set up Silas.

Ava. Perhaps she got in contact with Rafe just to do her dirty work and follow through with her threat on Sabrina.

Which of these theories sounds most accurate? If you have your own theory on who put Rafe up to causing the accident, please share and comment below. We look forward to hearing your input!

Molly’s in Danger!

As it gets closer to the 4th of July, we know that General Hospital is going to be explosive! Fans are on edge with the rumors surrounding the 4th of July events in Port Charles.

Fans are anxiously anticipating rumors involving  a car accident with some of the Port Charles residents.According to recent spoilers, it has been noted that the General Hospital staff will be busy taking care of  car accident victims. There are rumors that imply Molly is in danger and that Rafe dies. During the discussion between Molly and Rafe the other day, Rafe apologized for acting out of jealousy and messing things up for her and TJ. They mended their friendship although Molly has no idea of Rafe’s recent drug use. Perhaps the two will get in a car together with Rafe being under the influence and be involved in an accident.

Here’s to hoping Molly and Rafe make it through this dramatic week!

We Know Who Caused the Accident!

Sam the Private Investigator and friend Patrick Drake are on the case to find the individual responsible for Sabrina and Patrick’s accident. As a result of the accident, Sabrona went into very premature labor and baby Gabriel passed away just shortly after he was born. Sabrina left Port Charles to be with her cousin Juan Santiago and family in Puerto Rico in order to deal with the grief of her loss. Patrick, a distraught Father, is sticking around PC and is determined to find the person who did this to his family.

Lately there has been a lot of speculation on who could have caused the accident. The writers have been making it look a lot like it was Rafe, and some fans thought that it was too obvious. Others suspected Nina, since she can walk and all, why not drive too? They also suspected Levi because well, no one is really sure what that creep is up to and doing in Port Charles.

But according to an article in Soap Opera Digest, it has been revealed that the person who caused the accident is in deed Rafe! The writers wanted to incorporate the story with the drug trafficing that has been going on with Fluke and the Jerome family. Head Writer Ron Carlivati commented on the drug use in Port Charles, he said, “With the influx of drugs in town, we thought that someone should be doing them, and Rafe drew the short straw.”

Rafe Has a Flashback

Patrick, Sabrina, and Emma were on their way home from Emma’s recital when someone ran their car off the road. Sabrina ended up going into labor at 26 weeks gestation. Sadly, after spending some time in the NICU at General Hospital, baby Gabriel passed away. Now everyone wants to know who is behind the accident that caused Patrick and Sabrina to go off the road, inadvertently killing their son.

Sam is on a mission to help her good friend Patrick figure out who did this to them. In casual conversation, Sam mentions the situation to Rafe, and at that moment he has a very strong look of guilt written all over his face.

In a recent spoiler, information suggests that Rafe has a disturbing flashback/memory. Since we have scene that he has gotten himself into bad habits like stealing money to pay for and use drugs, it isn’t far fetched to make the assumption that he was the one behind the wheel that night, causing Sabrina and Patrick’s accident. The troubled teen has been on a downward spiral ever since the death of his Mother and being rejected by the girl he loves, Molly.

Could this memory be a flashback to what happened the night of the accident? It seems as if the drugs are clouding his mind and judgement. Perhaps Rafe is the one that caused the accident. Keep watching General Hospital on ABC to find out the truth behind the drama.
