It is with great devastation and sadness that we share the horrific news of General Hospital’s Tony Geary. General Hospital’s Tony Geary dies at 78.
Geary’s husband Claudio Gama announced Geary’s death as he explained, “It was a shock for me and our families and our friends.” Gama added, “For more than 30 years, Tony has been my friend, my companion, my husband.”
Reportedly, Tony Geary passed away on Sunday, from complications from a scheduled surgery three days prior. Geary was 78 years old.
We mourn the loss of be Geary’s iconic character, Luke Spencer. His on screen chemistry with co-star Genie Francis brought Geary and Francis to stardom. Luke and Laura’s wedding remains the most watched tv wedding of all time. Their love story began in the late 1970s, and their historical wedding took place on November 16th and 17th, 1981.
