General Hospital Spoilers: Jason and Sonny Foreshadow Willow’s Fate

General Hospital: Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) Discuss the Corinthos Custody Case

Everyone seems to be so concerned about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), but then how come no one actually understands what she needs? If Willow spirals, I’ll be with Nina (Nina Reeves) on this one. I’m sure she’ll be quick to blame Carly (Laura Wright)- which isn’t completely off base. This coming form a major Carly fan over here (me 🙋🏻‍♀️). It’s the fault of those who think it’s okay to take a loving mother away from her children- indefinitely. So with all the sanctimonious, “well-meaning” concern for Willow, do Sonny and Jason foreshadow Willow’s Fate?

Willow got shamed (by Diane) (Carolyn Henessy) for her outburst in court, and even blamed her for validating the judge’s harsh decision. I say harsh because let’s be honest, well-intentioned parents fight for their children to have emotional and psychological peace and safety, and often times the complaints get ignored. It takes a lot to lose custody, and being a douche bag doesn’t quite cut it in the real world. If that’s the case, then I know some people whose new significant other would’ve been reason enough to lose custody a million times over.

This week on General Hospital the Corinthos custody case remains a top story. The Corinthos family can momentarily breathe a sigh of relief after Michael’s victory. Custody of Wiley and Amelia has been stripped from their mother, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Now everyone is so quick to point out Willow’s breakdown.

Jason And Sonny Foreshadow Willow’s Fate- Is It Already Too Late?

Out of all the years that I have watched General Hospital, I believe this is the first time I’m not fully sold on the Corinthos/Morgan side of the argument. In fact, the Corinthos stance doesn’t sit well with me at all.

According to General Hospital recaps, Sonny and Jason discuss the aftermath of Michael’s situation. Jason believes that sole custody for Michael is what’s best for the children. However, last time I checked, they weren’t Jason’s children. Oh, snap! I did it. I actually something against Jason and the Corinthos clan. Furthermore, Michael, admittedly stated that part of the reason he sought full custody is out of spite.

Willow’s Choices Cost Her Everything

Obviously, Willow made some terrible choices. When it came to Drew, her marriage, and her children, those choices were questionable at best. And down the road could have a tremendous, adverse impact on her kids. However, awarding Michael film custody is a safe and secure way to make sure that Willow breaks down and stays down.

Sonny goes on to mention that he hopes Willow “keeps getting the help she needs.” Hello! Newsflash! Willow wasn’t practically catatonic until all of their efforts resulted in her losing her children. According to recent GH rumors, things get worse from here for Willow. The only thing worse than losing your children is than marrying Drew. Apparently, Willow will also face a mental break, invoking what’s been inside of her all along. Nina’s worst nightmare.

What’s next for Willow is dark. General Hospital rumors tease is that losing her children is what connects Willow to her sister Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Can this nervous breakdown end up bringing out the inner Nelle in Nina’s other daughter?
