General Hospital: Jonathan Bennett debuts as Detective Joe Fitzpatrick

The time is now! Jonathan Bennett’s General Hospital debut is on Monday, May 18th. GH fans await a new character arriving in Port Charles.

Last month, General Hospital news reports confirmed that All My Children and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett joined the cast of General Hospital as Detective Joe Fitzpatrick.

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 18th reveal that Bennett’s first scenes involve an arrest.

Previously on General Hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) punched Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). First, he intruded on Isaiah and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) date, and caused a verbal confrontation. One thing lead to another, and then Curtis straight up punched Isaiah.

According to GH spoilers, Curtis’s unhinged behavior lands him in cuffs. Evidently, Bennett’s first scenes focusing his career with the PCPD. This week on General Hospital, Joe Fitzpatrick arrests Curtis for assaulting Isaiah.

GH fans give a warm welcome to Jonathan, and his role as Detective Fitzpatrick. He has already scored brownie points across the GH fan base. How could he not when GH spoilers revealed that Joe is the one to arrest Curtis and hopefully put us all out of our misery.
