Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) thought she had it all figured out and convinced Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) that she could be trusted to be in control of her own addiction.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sasha’s recent relapse has Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) up in arms. He trusted that Sasha was passed succumbing to her vulnerable state. He is there to support his wife but he can’t do that if she’s going behind his back.
The pressures of being, ‘The Face of Deception,’ along with the reminders of the loss of her son, Liam, trigger Sasha’s instincts to fall back into using drugs. In recent General Hospital previews, Sasha risks her family and career for a quick fix. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) isn’t going to put of with this behavior for long, for the sake of the company and ultimately for the sake of Sasha’s well-being. ‘The Face of Deception’ is held at a certain standard. As a public figure, Sasha has a responsibility to uphold a certain image for the company, and when she relapses, she’s putting the image of the company at risk. More importantly, she’s betraying Brando’s trust when in actuality, he would have been right. Y her side, supporting her every step of the way if she had been open and honest.
