Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) doesn’t stand for betrayal. Especially when the people engaged in the betrayal are family. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) are family. On top of that, they are also Sonny’s family. And we all know that Sonny doesn’t tolerate traitors.
After Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) untimely death, Sonny and Sasha reluctantly put their trust in Gladys. Although they were hesitant, Brando’s widow and his second cousin gave his mother the benefit of the doubt. But alas, Brando’s death didn’t change Greedy Gladys. According to General Hospital recaps, Nina gave Sonny the dirty details about Gladys and Sasha. Predictably, Sonny’s true self emerged out as he became defensive of Sasha.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny takes care of Gladys, mobster style! She thought she’d be able to skip town and live the rest of her life in paradise. Instead, she was first interrupted by Sam, then by cousin Sonny. Uh oh! There’s no way out of this for Gladys.
At this point, maybe Sonny should let her go and he guilty conscience will do it’s trick. Let her suffer the way that she made Sasha suffer. What do you think Sonny will do to Gladys?
