Furthermore, he managed to evade Joss’s inquiry and skipped right over telling her who texted him. If that isn’t suspicious then I don’t know.

If Drew dies and Nina lies, well, continues to lie, about all she’s done, then she goes on to live her best life while the ones around her fall apart. In her mind, lying is the only option because it’s like that snowball effect. Once you tell a lie, more and more pile on to cover up for the original. I don’t know about y’all but that sounds exhausting to me!
There should be a sign around both Carly and Sonny’s necks as disclaimers. Anyone has the right to know what they’re getting themselves into. And with Carly and Sonny anything can happen. The same type of drama and chaos follows although the former Mr. And Mrs. Corinthos are no longer together as a couple. Just as Sonny chose Nina over Carly upon his Nixon Falls return, Carly chooses Drew in an unintentional, yet quite fitting eye for an eye situation. Remember, the key word here is unintentional.
