Nina’s no match for Sonny! Whether you are a fan of Sonny and Nina’s pairing, or you’re not, Nina’s lack of mob experience can’t be denied or ignored. Denying it only makes things worse in the sense that not all trauma is equal to mob-life type of trauma. And ignoring Nina’s lack of experience in Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) world is downright reckless.

That being said, no matter how you slice it, Nina and Sonny just don’t mesh well.

According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) point out the obvious. Today, these two former Mob Queens come together with a surprisingly civil discussion. Of course, the topic is none other than Ava’s buddy and Carly’s pesky enemy, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Recent General Hospital previews indicate that Carly wants to know all about her friendship with Nina. She can’t fathom what those two could possibly have in common other than their mutual hate for Carly. To Carly’s surprise, she and Ava agree on something. Carly and everyone knows that Nina isn’t equipped to handle Sonny’s life. Not in the way she and Ava are. And with that, Ava can’t deny Carly that fact.

GH spoilers and rumors tease that Ava admits her true feelings. But will she be the one to admit Nina’s no match for Sonny? Carly’s already voiced her opinion over and over. Maybe Nina gets a little friendly fire this time around.

This time, the man on her mind is just a friend. However, we say that Alexis Davis and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) are well on their way out of the friend zone. GH recaps remind fans how Alexis and Gregory met. Things started off a little rocky after she was almost hit in the head with a frisbee. From then, their heads actually became quite familiar with each other, as their intellectual status seemed to match. Finally! A man on Alexis’s same page.

Slowly, their friendship began to develop. But before any type of romance could begin, Gregory took many steps back. According to General Hospital spoilers, Gregory’s secret illness caused him to push Alexis away. On the contrary, his attempt backfired and brought her even closer.

According to the latest General Hospital news reports, Jane Elliot returns to General Hospital. Despite her retirement, Elliot makes her way back to the GH set every once in a while. She fulfills requests to periodically return due to her character’s relevance in certain storylines.

Like a gust of wind, General Hospital’s 60th anniversary and May Sweeps actually sweep Jane Elliot in again. However, GH comings and goings reports haven’t revealed the length of her stay. According to General Hospital recaps, the legendary Lucas Lorenzo Spencer (Tony Geary) is dead. Allegedly, he lost his life in a lame cable car accident. The ones who know and love him the most really aren’t buying it. Instead, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) believes Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is involved in some way or another. Laura isn’t even convinced that her precious Luke is actually dead. That being said, General Hospital rumors hint that Tracy returns to Port Charles regarding Luke.

Steve Burton reprises his role. Daytime TV icon, Steve Burton is best known for his good-hearted, bad boy role on ABC’s General Hospital. Jason Morgan became one of the most popular characters in television. His friendship and brotherhood with GH’s leading man, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), created a powerful fan following.

Sadly, Burton’s reign as the legendary Jason Morgan ended in November of 2021. His personal beliefs were not in alignment with certain mandates Disney and ABC required to continue employment. Unfortunately, Steve left GH after nearly 3 decades.

Thankfully, Steve’s fans don’t have to go too far in order to find him on-screen. After Steve departed General Hospital, Beyond Salem producers reached out to Burton. He was asked to hop on board and reprise his role as Harris Michaels in Beyond Salem’s second season.

General Hospital news reports reveal Burton’s next career move. According to Soaps In Depth, Steve explained his thought process when it comes to accepting Beyond Salem’s offer. He said, “It was kind of like, “We already have an idea for 3. Could you come back to Days and maybe finish that arc?’ “That’s how it led into the story coming to DAYS. It’s a continuation of BEYOND SALEM.” Burton explained, “I don’t want to say it was an easy decision,” he admitted. “With BEYOND SALEM, it was an easy decision because it was a limited run.

“And I had such a great experience there with the people I worked with and the producers. When they brought [returning] up, I was way more open to it than I probably would have been prior,” he went on, “because I have businesses I’m growing that are doing well. I’m doing what I love to do, coaching people. And I’ve got my kids. So my life was great, I have all this stuff going on. But I do love to act and how this came about was great. So I was like, ‘Yeah, sure. I’ll come back.’ When you’re in the business 36 years and people are still calling? I’m super-grateful.”

GH fans continue to hold out hope for Steve’s return as Jason. But for now, watching him anywhere is better than nowhere!

The song that immediately comes to mind when I think of Valentin and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) current storyline is, “Open Your Eyes,” by Snow Patrol. After years of chasing, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finally got the girl.

After tragedy struck, Vanna fans worry that Anna’s adventurous life finally got the best of her. Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Valentin continues to sit vigil at Anna’s side. Her current critical condition resulted when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) pulled the trigger. Naturally, Valentin blames himself for his father’s actions.

The damage was done and now Anna’s life hangs in the balance. According to recent General Hospital previews, Anna remains unconscious as she fights for her life. However, GH rumors hint that Vanna get a happy ending. Presumably, Anna opens her eyes! It looks like Valentin wills Anna back to life! After all they’ve been through, Valentin’s love saves Anna.

Accordingly, General Hospital comings and goings and other GH casting news has not made mention that Finola Hughes will exit General Hospital. Therefore, it’s highly unlikely that Anna Devane will die as a result of Victor’s insanity. It’s safe to say Anna and Valentin still have a chance at romance.

Furthermore, Mason is Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) cousin. He continues to threaten Austin, telling him that their boss needs him to do what he’s supposed to do. What who’s the boss? What is Austin’s purpose in the whole operation?

With that, we can suspect that Austin is indeed involved in some majorly shady business. As GH recaps recall, Austin wants out. His refusal to partake in, and carryout orders left Mason with no other option but to threaten his cousin. Still, Austin refuses. Now, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her kids, Georgie and James, are at risk.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plan to unite the Cassadines is so much bigger than that. He plans to gather his family for a purpose. In his mind, recruiting every worthy Cassadine helps better reach his endgame. GH rumors claim that by kidnapping Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Victor plans to use her medical expertise to help keep Nikolas alive.

It makes sense that Helena, the Queen of Cassadine wrath, would continue her quest to reek havoc on Port Charles. Specifically the Spencer family. If she’s pulling the strings, Nikolas could be her prisoner.

Moreover, some GH rumors speculate that Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) reach is a lot larger than illegal poker games at The Savoy. She slipped Victor a drug which made him experience difficulties with his manhood as a favor to Holly Sutton. But, what if she has her own reasons for wanting to see Victor go down? Once he’s out of the picture, Selina could slide right in as the next PC villain.

Does Selina plan to take over after Victor sets sail into oblivion? Will she need Nikolas alive to carryout her plans- or, is she working entirely alone?

Over the last few years, BLQ’s been uber focused on her music career. Unfortunately, the energy and focus she’s put in isn’t going to voice lessons and choreography. Instead, she spends all her time maneuvering around the backstage politics of the music industry. Linc makes a habit of abusing his power. He uses his position to back artists into a corner. When it comes to sexual advances, he makes it clear they need to give the green light, or it’s lights out for their sparkling new lifestyle. From big name to no name, Linc threatens the women who reject his advances. And the kicker is, he’s getting away with it.

In addition to BLQ, rising artist, Blaze, has attested to Linc’s inappropriate behavior and how he threatened her career. General Hospital recaps recall Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) efforts to help artists reclaim their careers and put an ends to Linc for good. But the thought of losing her song catalog to that skeeze ball ended up becoming her weakness. She gave in and signed the Non Disclosure Agreement to keep Linc’s sexual harassment on the down low. Sadly, they will soon come to find that she hasn’t changed at all. And for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her life is in the hands of a greedy, remorseless, thief!

Who does Gladys think she’s messing with? It’s one thing if she thinks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show her any type of mercy because they’re family. However, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is another story. Of course, Sasha will be devastated with what her mother-in-law got herself tangled up in. But the real consequences come from the powerful people in PC, Sonny and Selina.

But before all that, Gladys’s underhanded scheme buys her some time. According to the latest General Hospital previews and spoilers, Sasha notices that the bracelet she let Gladys borrow is missing from her wrist. We all know where it is, but Sasha is about to be fooled by the woman she trusted with her entire life.

Every so often a random villain with an outlandish and sinister agenda enters Port Charles. Sometimes they work alone, other times there’s a mystery “boss,” and other times the villain blackmails an innocent citizen to aid in their plot. There are also times when the latest enemy has ties to someone. But the biggest threats and the most extreme danger typically come from one particular family.

As a mobster, surely Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brings about violence and threats to the community. Countless mob wars and child snatchings, among other horrific crimes have taken place as a result of his business. However, the family that executes more acts of violence than the entire mob is the Cassadine family.
