General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Promised To Destroy The Corinthos Name; Had To Get Brando Out Of The Way Before Exposing His Plan

Ever since he felt that his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) betrayed his mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the rest of their family, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has set out to take Sonny down.

General Hospital spoilers reveal the hunt is still on for Ava’s attacker and Brando’s killer. Suspects have been questioned and provided alibis, some not so solid as others. Yet still, as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) became the number one suspect in the attack on his own wife, he couldn’t physically have been in two places at once.

General Hospital rumors suggest that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) could be behind the attacks, as a way to mark her territory in Port Charles, showing the big time players what she’s capable of. Other GH rumors speculate that Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) is too nice for anyone’s own good, and could have been recruited by Selina to work as a mole in the PCPD. Selina’s nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), has been acting a little edgy lately. He and his bestie Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) discussed his dear Auntie, and it’s obvious that Brad holds great fear of his mob boss of an Aunt.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her dad, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) are certainly among those suspected, but something gives off the vibe that those two would be just too obvious.

General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) continues to move forward in his threat against his own father. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was beginning to catch on to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and at the brink of putting the pieces together which would connect Dex to Michael. GH rumors hint that Kichael couldn’t risk being exposed. No matter how tough he thinks he is, Michael knows that his dad doesn’t mess around. If Brando was about to discover Michael’s plan to have Dex working for Sonny under his orders, he would be faced with the wrath of his father.

Would Michael stoop as low as harming family to destroy his dad? Some say no, but General Hospital recaps recall Michael’s vile threats to Sonny, warning that he is on the path to dismantling the Corinthos name in any way deemed fit.

Father and son are at war after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) threatened his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) over choosing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

General Hospital recaps recall Michael’s plan to take down Sonny; which involved hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as his spy. Dex has been conveniently placed in Sonny’s inner circle, trusted by Sonny while working as an informant for his son.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny’s other son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is on the lookout. He doesn’t share the same feelings toward Sonny as does his brother, Michael. GH spoilers and previews indicate that Dante is highly suspicious of Dex in regard to the possibility of him being the hook killer. But why women Dex want to do this, we wonder? Well, he wouldn’t; unless instructed.

GH rumors hint that Michael could have orchestrated this entire thing. Going after those closest to Sonny, while eliminating his most trusted and dependable employee. Brando would have been one to have caught on to Dex, leading him to Michael. Perhaps Michael couldn’t risk being exposed to Sonny, so getting rid of Brando Corbin was his best option.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Chad Duell Tells Startling Truth Of His GH Absence, “I Felt Like I Was Having A Heart Attack”

The role of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been temporarily recast by Robert Adamson, stepping in to play the son of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), in small, but repeated incriminates of time.

General Hospital news reports confirmed the recasting of Michael Corinthos was only temporary, as Chad Duell had explained his absence was Covid related.

GH fans became concerned after Duell returned to the role to then depart again. Michael is involved in some imperative story lines, and some fans have been thrown for a loop having not gotten used to a new face in the role.

General Hospital news and spoilers reports reveal that Chad was recently a guest on Maurice Benard’s YouTube series, State of Mind, where he opened up about his recent GH absences.

General Hospital spoilers reveal, in his interview, Chad candidly explains what’s been going on. Not only has he contacted Covid multiple times, this last time his Stanton’s became so severe, he knew he has to head to the hospital. “I had the symptoms of it: the fever, the cough, a weird headache”, but was testing negative. Then, “on the fourth day, all of a sudden, my chest started hurting unbelievably bad. I felt like I was having a heart attack…. It was so painful, I thought, ‘If I have Covid, it probably went to my chest. I should go to the hospital.’ ” Chad continues to explain that he had been suffering from a common after effect of the Covid virus, and was was diagnosed with acute myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle. There isn’t anything specific to be done regarding aiding this adverse effect in resolving sooner, however, it will go away on its own. Chad admits, “I thought I was dying.  I can’t tell you the pain I felt. I was taking morphine and it wasn’t doing anything.  So I was scared, man.”

Sonny tried to keep the peace as best as he can, but time and time again, an entitled mobster will show up in Port Charles with an axe to grind and a territory to take over.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Sonny Corinthos are two of the most prevalent business owners around at this time, which lead Selina to go after then to get what she wants. At first she was all about playing nice, then she slowly showed she isn’t to be messed with.

General Hospital rumors suggest that Selina is behind the hook attacks, against two people that are linked to being close to Sonny. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the mother of his daughter, Avery Corinthos, while Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is Sonny’s cousin and trusted employee.
