General Hospital Spoilers: Two Besties From Bensonhurst Are At Odds, Cody and Dante Clash

Cody and Dante clash! …Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and his childhood friend Cody Bell seem to have picked up where they left off all those years ago. Despite the fact that they’ve both grown and changed, the core of their friendship remains the same.

Today, Dante is a respectable Law Officer while Cody here is a known scammer. But that doesn’t mean it’s always been this way. According to GH recaps, Dante’s past was a little shady as well. As years went by and they moved apart, Dante found his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Port Charles.

Fast forward to last Spring, and Cody followed in Dante’s footsteps. He landed in Port Charles with a story about how he too has a father from Port Charles. However, the story he tells is much different from. The truth. And now that Dante knows Cody’s secret, he isn’t happy with his friend’s choices. According to recent GH spoilers, childhood besties are at odds. Cody and Dante clash over Cody’s over Cody’s adult choices. He knows that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) isn’t Cody’s father, and that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) holds that title. As Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) pressures Cody to sign on the dotted line, Dante pressures him to make the right choice.

As Cody and Mac grow closer, maybe Dante’s words will resonate with the former grifter. Can you make an honest man out of himself by righting his wrongs from his past.

But when Brando died, it seemed like Gladys put life into perspective. And after going through the loss together, Sasha thought she could trust Gladys. Boy, did she think wrong.

This week, Gladys risks Sasha’s life to protect herself. GH spoilers and previews show that Sasha’s life takes a turn when Gladys has a crooked doctor tamper with Sasha’s meds. As a police officer, Dante follows proper protocol when dealing with each case. A private investigator on the other hand has a lot more wiggle room regarding what they are and are not allowed to practice in order to crack a case. Some would say that a P.I. may even partake some questionable tactics. Eventually, Dante uncovers a truth he wishes he hadn’t.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Cody Bell (Josh Swickard) team up to prove that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) framed Cody. Meanwhile, over at the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) work hard to solve crimes and catch criminals. This particular case hits Dante close to home because his childhood best friend faces jail time.

According to GH recaps, Sam and Cody decide to go about the investigation without involving the PCPD. That means, Sam keeps her plans with Cody a secret from her boyfriend Dante. Just a shot in the dark here, but that’s not a good look for Sam and Cody. Despite both of their relationships with Dante, his girlfriend and best friend keep the investigation a secret. I think everyone can see where this is headed.

GH rumors tease that after Friday’s Sam and Cody scenes, fans believe a future hookup is in the works. It could only be a matter of time before we see Sam and Dante’s epic breakup. Some fans say that their relationship is pretty boring.

Having just been through major trauma, The Face of Deception was reluctant to jump back into the swing of things. But Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) belief in Sasha was just the push she needed.

LSasha faced Haven and her attempt to sabotage, meanwhile, she received warm vibes from the show’s producer. The latest General Hospital spoilers reveal that the Home and Heart Producer with the sweet demeanor is none other than Genie Francis’s daughter Elizabeth Francis Frakes. Cody the con was arrested for stealing borrowed jewelry. Because of his checkered past, Gladys planned the perfect frame-up. Since he knows exactly what Gladys is up to, she figured she needs to keep him as far fr Sasha as possible. What better way then to make Sasha think he’s a no-good thief and get him sent to jail?

GH previews indicate that despite the fact that she’s not a cop, Cody gets interrogated by Sam. Apparently, her P.I. status allows for her to question him about the crime.

According to recent General Hospital previews, Cody mentions Gladys to Sam. If Sam gets him to crack, then Cody exposes Gladys! Gladys’s deal with Selina Wu lead to the sale of Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. How could Gladys do such a thing? And lie about it to Sasha?! Well, her gambling took her down a dangerous path with Selina. Her only choice was to pay up. Although she didn’t have the means to fulfill her obligations on her own, she abused her power to save her on butt.

Sadly, they will soon come to find that she hasn’t changed at all. And for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her life is in the hands of a greedy, remorseless, thief!

Who does Gladys think she’s messing with? It’s one thing if she thinks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show her any type of mercy because they’re family. However, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is another story. Of course, Sasha will be devastated with what her mother-in-law got herself tangled up in. But the real consequences come from the powerful people in PC, Sonny and Selina.

But before all that, Gladys’s underhanded scheme buys her some time. According to the latest General Hospital previews and spoilers, Sasha notices that the bracelet she let Gladys borrow is missing from her wrist. We all know where it is, but Sasha is about to be fooled by the woman she trusted with her entire life.

If any situation is an opportunity for Cody to do the unexpected and tell the truth it would be this predicament with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), and Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Due to the fact that this isn’t his lie, it should be easier for Cody to come forward with the truth. But is it his truth to tell?

Although this isn’t his secret, GH rumors predict Cody’s personal gain in all of this is reason enough for him to keep quiet. He continues to bank on Sasha’s suffering due to his business entanglements with Ms. Wu. With Selina running things, it may not be the safest idea to rat out Selina and Gladys’s business dealings. Let alone the fact that his son is a man who recently disclosed that Mac is NOT his father. What Mac doesn’t know is that Cody lied to Mac and everyone else to fit his agenda. It was more convenient to be Leopold Taub’s son. As he chased the Ice Princess, Cody believed his financial troubles would melt away.

Now that things didn’t go according to plan, the guilt surrounding his decision to lie to Mac is starting to set in. But perhaps he can pacify his conscience by coming clean with someone else’s secret.
