Esme doesn’t trust Victor. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is like a little lost puppy out in the big world. After severe trauma, Esme suffers from amnesia. Typically those who suffer total memory loss would give anything to regain those precious memories. However, with Esmé, that is not the case.

In retrospect, Esme’s life prior to amnesia isn’t a life worth remembering. At least according her her anyways. Prior to losing her memory, Esme sulked about her lonely childhood. Having not been raised by her biological parents, Esme spent much of her childhood with her nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald. Thankfully, the new and improved Esme doesn’t never knew them then, and remember her biological parents either. In a way, the amnesia has given a young woman a clean slate and a fresh start. Now a loving mother, the days of Esme’s terrorizing ways are over.

Despite the fact that Esme doesn’t remember even her most recent past, she is able to instinctively sense certain feelings. When naming baby Ace, her intuition spoke to her. The love Esme has for her baby is strong enough to break through the amnesia. Additionally, danger and fear fill her senses whenever Esme encounters particular people. For instance, she sensed danger and fear around Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). As we know, her Spidey-senses were spot on. Talking about danger, the same goes for Victor. Esme doesn’t trust Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) further than she can throw him. Will Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) try to talk Esme out of her own instincts? Or, will she take Victor just as seriously?

Though Cam and Joss are the ones featured in the revenge porn video, they aren’t Esme’s only victims. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) also fell victim to Esme. As Josslyn’s best friend, Trina was framed for filming her bestie and her boyfriend without their consent. In fact, things went so far that Trina even stood trial for a crime she didn’t commit. Thankfully, she’s been acquitted. Her exoneration led to the hunt for the real culprit, Esme. Fast forward months later and now Esme’s complete 180° puts a pause on justice for Cam, Joss, and Trina.

According to recent General Hospital spoilers, in a shocking turn of events, the charges against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) are dropped when Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) presents a compelling explanation. According to General Hospital spoilers, Esme and Ace come home after their release from Spring Ridge. However, the question of where she and baby Ace will call home presents itself.

As shown in the latest General Hospital previews, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) delivers some “wonderful” news to Esme. Accompanied by Spencer, Laura tried to hype Esme up for her release from Spring Ridge. But, even though she brings forth good news, she also brought Spencer. The new mother puts her trust in the baby’s grandmother to care for Ace and keep him safe. Seemingly, choosing Laura to be Ace’s legal guardian is the most responsible decision Esme could make in this situation. But, unsuspecting danger turns a safe choice into the worst possible scenario.

Initially, the goal is so that Ace’s mother and family can rest easy knowing that he’s in good hands. As GH recaps recall, Esme got wind of Spencer’s intended custody request. So, she took appropriate consideration in her son’s well-being. As a result, Esme believes that Laura is the best option for Ace.

However, according to recent General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Laura is thrown for a loop when Kevin begins acting peculiarly. Despite Esme’s safe choice, choosing Laura becomes a regret. General Hospital spoilers tease that the well-being of Esme’s baby is judged by self-serving adults who are out to settle a score. Ace’s mother brought him into the world with no recollection of who she was. Moreover, Esme doesn’t even remember her baby’s father. Apparently, a jump into ice cold water while pregnant will do that. After saving herself from imprisonment by her alleged baby’s father, Esme became a completely different person. But, just because her traumatic experiences erased her memory, they don’t erase her last crimes.

With Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) missing, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) thought he had his custody motion in the bag. As baby Ace’s big half brother, Spencer figured he’d be granted custody over Ace’s unfit/absent parents. However, Esme wants nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend raising her child. Her hands are ties as she awaits judgement day. Legally, it looks like Esme is able to bring baby Ace to Spring Ridge upon her time of sentencing. But, incarceration isn’t really an a life event a baby should experience.

Some time last year, Laura’s focus turned toward protecting the city’s people. General Hospital recaps recall when the people of Port Charles became targets in mysterious hook attacks. Out of nowhere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) became the hook killer’s first victim in a vicious attack. From then on, no one was safe.

Meanwhile, as Laura and the PCPD worked to find the killer, Laura’s own family was under attack. As the tension grew between father and son, Laura tried to play peacemaker for her son Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) and her grandson Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). However, the damage had been done and the fallout became too severe for repair. There was nothing Laura could do to save Nik and Spencer’s relationship.

According to General Hospital spoilers, recent circumstances require Laura’s attention once again. Her family is in ruins since Nikolas vanished just as Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) brought her and Nik’s baby into the world. Her only choice is to go against Robert, Anna, Laura, and the ones she loves or her son Ethan will suffer the consequences.

The Showdown

Holly has the choice to surrender the Ice Princess and ultimately turn herself in to authorities, or finish the mission and give Victor what he wants. She knows if she doesn’t come through for Cassadine, Ethan will be killed. GH spoilers indicate Holly does everything in her power to save her son- even if that means it’s at the expense of another [Laura] life.

Now that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is back, the old crew has some old habits to fall into. Victor  Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) perfect crime has landed Anna in an almost impossible predicament. As a result, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are doing all they can to get Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out from behind bars.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura is concerned about the two year time lapse in Holly’s memory. Laura backs Holly into a corner as she pushes for her to see a therapist. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) has a lot to offer when it comes to helping people regain suppressed memories.
