The mystery unfolds as the people of Port Charles all want to know who shot Drew Cain. Anna and Dante are right. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has multiple enemies, and any one of them has reason to want him dead. Some motives are strong while others are weak, but don’t put it passed any of who were those betrayed by Drew. However, no one person can be in two places at the same time. That means we can narrow down the list a bit.
Who Shot Drew Cain?
First, we know where Portia was. She was with Isaiah and then at work. Secondly, Curtis was with Jordan. Carly was with Brennan. Trina and Kai were in Drew’s home when it happened. Then Tracy stumbled upon the shocking situation. Plus, Alexis was tending to her house guest. Jason was in Croatia, and he doesn’t care enough about pesky Drew to even bother killing him. And Nina, she truly thinks that Willow is guilty.
Michael (Rory Gibson) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) seem like the strongest suspects in this case. Aside from a powerful mobster like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Michael and Willow have the strongest motives. What it comes down to is who is the most desperate? Not only to get rid of Drew, but desperately needing something else- something like, their own children. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Michael and Willow continue to fight for custody of their children. Mutually, one thing stands in their way. That one thing is Drew Cain.

Things didn’t really pan out the way it was intended for Congressman Cain. Someone was so sick of his toxic destructive of the lives around him and wanted him dead. Dead and gone out of the lives he’s ruined was the goal. However, Drew is still alive and in critical condition.
Coming up on General Hospital, the PCPD continues to work to find Drew’s shooter. At this point, they are looking for a shooter, but not a killer. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) need all the insight they can get from anyone who has had recent dealings with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Drew faces paralysis and even death. But if he doesn’t die, odds are that Drew can identify his shooter. Sounds pretty cut and dry, right? Well, not if the shooter is Willow. Drew‘s obsession with Willow has made him go to extreme lengths for anything he deemed worthy. Surely, Willow is worthy of the utmost extreme measures.

Sadly but inevitably, the acknowledgment of Monica Quartermaine and Leslie Charleson’s death is imminent. It’s been about 7 month since the GH star passed away. She was 79 years old.
Lately, any mention of Monica Quartermaine addresses the fact that she has fallen ill. Some days she’s not even well enough to have visitors up to her room. Obviously, the writers have set the stage for this tearful storyline about Monica’s death.
Aside from the long overdue tribute to Leslie Charleson, emotional goodbyes will be had all around Port Charles as they grieve over Monica’s death. Monica leaves a legacy and an iconic Port Charles landmark behind. She owns the Quartermaine mansion. Indeed, it’s Monica’s house- because Alan gave it to her.
Coming up on General Hospital, GH news reports confirm that Erika Slezak debuts this fall. However, she won’t be playing her ever-popular role as Vikki/Nikki Lord. Instead, she leaves Vikki and Llanview behind. Recently, GH rumors predict that Slezak will arrive in Port Charles as part of Monica’s death storyline. Additional rumors hint that she plays Monica’s long lost sister. So, no matter who Monica planned on leaving her home to, it may just be that the decisions is out of anyone’s hands. After all, it’s Monica’s house, Alan gave it to her. And that means Monica can leave her house to anyone she wants to. It just so happens that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is Alan Quartermaine’s (the late Stuart Damon) sister.
Traditionally, the house should stay in the family, and then a decision can be made down the road to either keep it, or to put it up on the market. General Hospital fans know the long running joke about Alan, Monica, Tracy, and the Quartermaine mansion. Back in the day and I throughout her marriage to Alan, Monica and Tracy were far from friends- let alone cared for each other like family. But being sister in laws through Alan, things evolved over the years. But first, we can’t forget how much Tracy hated the fact that Alan gave Monica the house.

Coming up on General Hospital, the 63 year old daytime drama addresses the iconic Leslie Charleson’s passing. Reportedly, Leslie Charleson died on January 12, 2025. It’s been over a half a year since the GH star’s passing, and the current storyline has Monica Quartermaine (the late Leslie Charleson) laid up in her room, feeling ill.
According to GH rumors, soon the storyline will reflect Charleson’s passing, and Monica too will pass away. That leaves GH fans with the burning question of who will get Monica’s house?! Sadly, it’s the end of an era , and the Quartermaine mansion is about to get a new owner.
It’s Monica’s house because Alan gave it to her. So who will Monica pass it on to? The Quartermaine mansion is iconic, and an iconic character should inherit the family home. GH rumors tease that Monica gives the house to Tracy Quartermaine.
However, it has been confirmed that daytime television legend Erika Slezak has joined General Hospital. The popular One Life to Live star debuts as an original, but short-term role. According to recent GH, rumors fans speculate that Slezak has been cast to play Monica‘s secret, or long-lost sister. Will she and Tracy butt heads just like Monica and Tracy had done over the years?

Who kills Drew Cain? Congressman Cut-throat has a lot of enemies. So many that it’s difficult to keep track of everyone he has wronged, hurt, destroyed, and dismantled in Port Charles.
General Hospitalspoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) stands by her friend and colleague, Nurse Willow Tait. But Willow fears that she needs a more impressive support system. She truly believes that Drew is her best shot at getting her kids back.

Lately, it seems like everyone wants to see that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is stopped before it’s too late. He’s on a rampage with a one track mind that is focused on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). No one is safe in Drew’s warpath. He’s been the cause of lives unraveling at the seams, and anyone who is anyone in Port Charles has felt the impact of Drew’s actions.
According to General Hospital rumors, someone finally puts an end to Congressman Cain. Drew’s number of enemies makes the perfect equation for a murder mystery. He has hurt so many people that just about any of them have good reason to kill him. So, if Drew ends up dead, whodunnit?
Afterthought: Yes, that’s Sam in the whodunnit photo edit at the top. I keep seeing GH rumors about Kelly Monaco returning, and Sam coming back- like Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and presumably Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Did Ava Kill Ric?! Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) is sick and tired of Ric (Rick Hearst) and Ava‘s (Maura West) games. According to General Hospital recaps Kristina went to great lengths to stop Ric and Ava from blackmailing her mother Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Although risky, she paid Cody (Josh Kelly) to seduce and distract Ava Jerome. Ultimately, Kristina’s plan was to drive Ric and Ava to turn on each, and that’s exactly what happened. It’s safe to say Kristina got what she wanted but more than she bargained for.
This week on General Hospital, Danny and Rocco, find a body in the water. It just so happens that this discovery is made right after Ava picked up an oversized pearl and smashed it into the back of Ric‘s head. Of course, all of this happened right before Kristina‘s eyes. According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and rumors it could be Ric’s body that Jason and Dante’s sons find floating on by.
Will Ava and Kristina Make A Pact?
So, did Ava kill Ric Lansing? If Kristina witnessed Ava commit murder it’s more than likely that Ava will want to make a deal with Sonny’s daughter. Will this become a “you keep my secret, I keep yours,” type of situation?

The legendary Tristan Rogers passed away on August 15th, 2025. Despite his passing, the Daytime TV icon’s presence lives on in his television performances. Although Rogers’ last appearance on General Hospital took place on July 17th, news reports reveal that Tristan Rogers’ final tv appearance is still to come.
GH fans know Tristan as the revered WSB Agent, Robert Scorpio. But Y&R fans know him as Colin Atkinson. Reportedly, General Hospital and Y&R star Tristan Rogers has one more appearance to air on The Young and The Restless. Rogers’ portrays Colin Atkinson for the last time on Tuesday, August 26, at 12:30pm. Fans can see Rogers on CBS’s The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital: Brook Lynn and Lulu Team Up to Investigate
What happened to Maxie? So far, the ladies of Deception haven’t the slightest clue as to how or what caused what seems like a reaction to the Deception Youth Truth cream. Maxie’s adverse reaction to the cream is an isolated incident that no one say coming. There were no signs that Maxie has been allergic to the Youth Truth cream in the past, and there hasn’t been any changes to the formula.
General Hospital Recaps: As Lucy said, they’ve all tested the cream many times before without devastating consequences. So what could be the issue? According to GH recaps, Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) reported that Maxie’s vitals are good, and her heart is functioning as it should- except he did find an unknown enzyme within Maxie’s results. First, GH staff and Maxie’s loved ones were anticipating a full recovery. But now, it’s uncertain if Maxie will ever open her eyes again.
Lulu and Brook Lynn Blame Lucy
General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. She opened her big mouth to her latest man candy and now Maxie won’t wake up. Lucy was the one who out Maxie’s opinion in Sidwell’s ear. Basically, she put her on blast and unknowingly made her a target. The thing is that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is smitten over Sidwell, jovial over Jenz. She acts like a blubbering teen with she’s around him which could only mean that she’s clouded by the lavender haze of falling in love. Or whatever that feeling is for Lucy.
Now it’s predicted that because of Lucy and her over sharing tendencies, Sidwell took action to keep Maxie quiet. How will she feel when she not only discovers who Jenz really is, but also having the wait of what happened to Maxie on her shoulders?
General Hospital: Lulu listens in on Brook Lynn and Lucas discussing Maxie
Family and friends of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are beside themselves after she collapsed on the air while filming Deception’s segment on Home and Heart. The incident has perplexed them all, especially since Maxie is currently in top tier health. Sure, she had a heart transplant when she was 6 years old, but that’s highly unlikely to be a factor here.
Coming up on General Hospital, it becomes more apparent that Maxie was poisoned. Right now, signs point to Sidwell. After all, he is the main villain in the story, isn’t he? He knows that Maxie’s father is Mac Scorpio (John J. York), the Port Charles police commissioner. And he damn sure doesn’t want her opening her mouth about the dirty money that ran through Deception.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Maxie’s condition remains a mystery, and those close to her do some digging to get to the bottom of what really happened. Lulu was looking quite interested in Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) conversation with Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). She can be seen creeping in the background , with her side eye peering right at her enemy, BLQ. From the look of it, Lulu suspects Brook Lynn is up to something- or is hiding something.
Is Lulu looking for something, anything, to pin on Brook Lynn? Maxie is Lulu’s life long bestie- but Brook Lynn has infiltrated her way into Maxie’s life and they’ve become best friends too. And Lulu’s disdain for Brook Lynn runs deep. She thinks Brook Lynn is looking suspicious, so is she onto something, or is she letting her hatred for BLQ cloud her judgement?
The look on Brook Lynn’s face when talking to Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) screams of fear, worry, guilt, and remorse. Most of Maxie’s loved ones have the fear and worry written all over their faces, but guilt and remorse isn’t noticeable. I wonder if that’s because no one else at that hospital has reason to feel guilt and remorse over Maxie’s condition? So, who poisoned Maxie with Deception’s youth cream? Was it Brook Lynn who went to extreme measures to keep Maxie from going to the PCPD?
Did Sidwell Poison Maxie? Or Was It So Much Worse Than That?
General Hospital Recaps: Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) fights for her life after a freak incident on air, on the set of Home and Heart. General Hospital recaps recall that Maxie was on the air promoting Deception’s youth cream when she began to feel faint and then collapsed. She currently stands alone in her opinion about whether or not the ladies of Deception should go to the PCPD with information on Sonny’s dirty money. Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) influence over Lucy (Lynn Herring), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has Maxie as the rogue ranger in this situation.
Sidwell was a little too excited by James’ over sharing. It was like he took mental notes on Maxie with each word her son divulged. Coming up on General Hospital, the GH staff and Maxie’s loved ones curiously ponder how Maxie’s heart could stop suddenly when she’s in perfect health.
At this point it seems the GH rumors are true, and Maxie was poisoned. Apparently, suspicions point to Deception’s youth cream as the culprit. Evidently, there was something quite different about this one since Maxie has used this product before, without any issues.
General Hospital spoilers tease that someone tampered with the product, causing Maxie’s near death experience. While many GH fans believe that Sidwell poisoned Maxie to keep her from going to the pcpd, new GH rumors speculate otherwise.

Brook Lynn longs for a connection, and to fix her relationship with her son, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). That means she can’t be involved in helping put his grandpa, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), in jail. She’s desperate to build a bond with her son, and when I say desperate, I mean desperate. But would she risk Maxie’s life to avoid more wrath from Gio? Maybe. But definitely not if she knew the potentially life threatening risk.
