General Hospital News: GH’s Sofia Mattsson Shares In Sasha Gilmore’s Pregnancy Journey

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) can rest a little easier now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is under police custody and recovering from a gunshot wound at General Hospital.

The moment Sasha found out she was pregnant with Brando’s child, she was filled with mixed emotions know that Cyrus would pose a major threat to her baby and her baby’s father. Thanks to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), Brando’s mom, Cyrus was implicated in multiple crimes, taking him off the streets of Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Brando and Sasha are at ease for now, but things won’t be completely smooth sailing throughout the duration of her pregnancy.

General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Goes Back To The Drawing Board

Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is giving his all, using his knowledge and skills as a doctor, along with the helps of trusted companion, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), to find a cure for Chase (Josh Swickard).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dr. Finn is at his wits end after his sure fire discovery turned out to be a failure. Finn was sure that DNA from both of Chase’s parents, himself and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney), would be what his immune system needed to fight this virus.

General Hospital spoilers indicate Finn goes back to the drawing board because he isn’t going to give up on saving Chase. Although discouraged, Finn returns to the lab at GH to take another crack at it.

General Hospital rumors claim this is when Finn will uncover that the original paternity results were incorrect and possibly tampered with. It’s been rumored that Finn will realize that he in fact is not Chase’s biological father, and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is and has been all along.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seems like the last person to be giving out any sort of advice about telling the truth. But here she is, giving her two cents to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Brook Lynn typically does things that benefit herself, and that’s probably what’s going on here too. General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn gets real with Willow, which doesn’t mean she’s about to divulge her baby Bailey secret. However, Brook Lynn will school Willow on what she’s about to do when it comes to Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) proposal.

General Hospital rumors suggest Brook Lynn has a thing for Chase, so she’s deterring Willow from agreeing to marry him. Of course, it’s a bad idea to begin with, so that helps Brook Lynn’s reasoning against Willow and Chase herring married. Brook Lynn also cares about her cousin, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and she knows he and Willow are in love. Marrying Chase would be a disaster no matter which way you look at it. So Brook Lynn’s motives aren’t completely selfish, but she of all people have no place schooling anyone on honesty.

Brook Lynn should be more concerned with the lies she’s telling Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), her father Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth), stepmom Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), and all her family and friends who love her and will be devastated when the truth comes out that Bailey is Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) baby.

Regardless of credibility or motive, Brook Lynn is right. Willow should not marry Chase just because she feels sorry for him. Can Brook Lynn’s honestly get through to Willow before she makes a life altering mistake?

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) just received some good news that frankly, she doesn’t deserve. With persuasion from Jax (Ingo Rademacher), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) called Nina to let her know he is willing to allow her to visit his son, and Nina’s grandson, Wiley.

General Hospital previews show Nina’s first encounter with Carly since Nina skipped town and landed in Nixon Falls. Nina left to clear her head after feeling betrayed by Jax and Carly, after they kept her in the dark about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) being her long lost daughter.

Nina has done some major damage to the Corinthos family by discovering Sonny is alive and never having the courtesy to put his family out of mourning. Let’s start with how she has led him on, and now they’ve both developed feelings for one another, knowing damn well that he is a happily married man. Nina would never stand a chance with a man like Sonny if it weren’t for his amnesia.

Jax (Ingo Rademacher) has crossed the line while putting a wedge between himself and his daughter’s brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Threats and blackmail don’t usually sit well with those who were supposed to be loved ones. Michael always saw Jax as family, and now his actions toward Michael and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) really put things into perspective. Jax is only looking to benefit himself. General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Could Possibly Be The Worst Medical Professional On The Planet Based On Her Assessment Of Peter August

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) finally got what he deserved when Dr. Finn (Michael Easton) snapped, lost control, and pushed Peter down the stairs of the hospital, causing what looked to be his demise.

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Dr. Finn are the only ones who know what happened to Peter while the rat of Port Charles try to hunt him down. Liz check his pulse and breath and got nothing. She and Finn came up with a plan to buy enough time for Finn to keep working on a cure for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), by avoiding an investigation about Peter’s death.

General Hospital spoilers indicate Liz and Finn have conjured up a mass cover up, but the GH audience remains in the dark about if and where they moved his body.

General Hospital news outlets have yet to confirm Wes Ramsey’s exit from General Hospital, as well as the actor himself. The time is near, and the wait is (almost) over, as we get closer and closer to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) return to Port Charles.

Mike still has no recollection of his life as Sonny with his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and is pursuing a romantic relationship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while she is betraying Sonny himself, her friends Phyllis (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), and all of Sonny’s loved ones as she selfishly reaps the benefits of Sonny’s and everyone’s kindness.

General Hospital spoilers reveal the time is near that Sonny will be reunited with his family, and a key element to discovering Sonny’s existence is his PC- famous pasta sauce. Back when Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) came to Nixon Falls to pick up Jax (Ingo Rademacher), Trina had the pleasure of not only tasting the sauce, but taking a container of it back home to Port Charles. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has had to pick up the pieces after the presumed death of her husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She has also taken on the weight of the world as she has stepped up and taken his place on power with The Five Families.

Now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was forced by Jax (Ingo Rademacher) to extend a courtesy to Nina she doesn’t deserve, she’ll have her grandson Wiley ripped right from under her once everyone finds out what she has done.

Carly Corinthos shows no mercy to those who betray her and her family. And things will work out just right for Carly in the end when Nina gets what she deserves.
