Category: General Hospital Comings and Goings
General Hospital comings and goings archives fills GH fans in on the latest GH news. Each exit and arrival can be found on GH Blog’s comings and goings page.
From time to time, the characters we’ve grown to love (or love to hate) leave. Some return after some time, and others arrive on the canvas unexpectedly. As GH fans, General Hospital Blog knows exactly how it feels to lose a beloved character, as well as how it feels to love (or hate) a newby. Whatever emotions are flowing through at the time someone leaves or enters the canvas, fans can be sure to get the latest information on our GH comings and goings page.
They say once a woman becomes pregnant, her motherly super strength and intuition is ready to kick in, in any situation that could harm her child. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has displayed that super mom strength and intuition by taking charge and fighting back at Nurse Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown).
General Hospital spoilers reveal there is no doubt that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is coming for Maxie and baby Louise. Chloe already clued Maxie in on parts of his plan, which is more than enough to have Maxie running for the hills.
General Hospital previews show Maxie is desperate for help to protect her baby and herself from Peter. She needs to keep the same, strong mindset that has helped her survive this far.
General Hospital news reports have not reported on Wes Ramsey’s future as Peter on the 58 year old soap opera. General Hospital rumors claim fans have deemed this character as unredeemable, and question Ramsey’s future status at GH.
GH spoilers and rumors hint that Peter will get what’s coming to him based on the latest GH previews, showing an unconscious Peter at the bottom of the stairwell.
Maxie is in a strange town, scared, alone, and about to give birth. Right now, all she has is herself to survive Peter’s sinister plan.
The General Hospital cast frequently gives reason for GH comings and goings news to keep circulating around the actors and actress that come and go. It’s not so much a revolving door, but there is definitely a lot of traffic when it comes to new roles being introduced, while other characters GH fans have grown to love say their goodbyes.
Back in early Spring, General Hospital Blog reported on GH related news regarding the latest GH comings and goings. General Hospital news reports confirmed that All My Children star, Cameron Mathison, would be joining the cast of GH.
Back in April 5th, Mathison wasn’t able to share who he would be playing with fans due to the fact that he himself didn’t know. General Hospital spoilers reveal Mathison has been let in on important yet confidential information regarding his new role.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Mathison disclosed he is currently in Canada working on a Hallmark movie. In a podcast episode of, That’s Awesome! with future co-stars, Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, “I’m up in Canada,” Cameron continued, “I’m about to shoot a Hallmark movie. I’ll be back in early June.” Steve Burton asked Mathison some questions about the details of his new role. When questioned about his start date, Mathison revealed that he didn’t know much fan’s burning questions. He told Burton, “I’m trying to figure that all out,” I knew zero. I didn’t even know character name. I’m not even kidding. Zero until two days ago. Two days ago I found out some information. I can’t tell you. I’m very excited.”
It looks as though Cameron has been sworn to secrecy on the identity of his character. But we will keep fans up to date on any information that is released.
General Hospital fans have been vocal about their opinion regarding the current storyline involving fan favorite, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Everyone just wants to see Sonny remember who is he and leave his life as Mike behind.
Due to Maurice’s lessened time on screen as Sonny suffers from amnesia, General Hospital rumors began surrounding Benard’s status with the 58 year old drama. Some GH fans have questioned Benard’s half-absence.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos is well on his way to regaining his memories from his past life. As for how he will be found and return to Port Charles, that remains a mystery. And as for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), the GH audience wants her to pay for what she has done by keeping Sonny away from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and loved ones.
General Hospital news and spoilers endure fans that the GH rumors regarding Benard and Covid are false. Another rumors is that Benard has made himself scared on screen due to an outside project such as a movie. Benard has posted and Instagram story, informing fans that the rumors of having Covid and/or filming a movie is actually false.
Every now and then, we as GH fans recognize a familiar face or two as new and different characters come and go, and some are even here to stay.
These new (to GH) faces which we often recognize sometimes have ties to established actors on the show. Earlier this month, General Hospital news reports confirmed that, Rob Kent, a new nurse over at General Hospital, was played by GH’s Risa Dorken’s husband, Bo Clark. And it’s no secret that Wes Ramsey, who plays Peter August, is romantically tied to GH’s leading lady, Laura Wright, as the iconic badass, supermom and now Mob Boss, Carly Corinthos.
General Hospital news and spoilers inform fans of another character/actor connection on the set of General Hospital. GH star, Kin Shriner has tweeted a photo of himself with real life girlfriend, Trish Ramish, revealing her identity as the hostess working at The Metrocourt.
Below you will see a behind the scenes photo of Shriner and Ramish, “waiting for the action to start.”
General Hospital comings and goings reports share Ramish has been on and off the GH canvas since 2019. We hope to see more appearances and possibly some interaction between Trish Ramish and boyfriend, Kin Shriner (Scotty Baldwin).
Earlier this month, General Hospital news reports confirmed a new role has been created and will debut this week, as someone new arrives in Port Charles. General Hospital comings and goings news has announced Guiding Light’s, Kimberly J. Brown has joined the cast of GH.
General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate Kimberly J. Brown will be playing the role of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) new hire. “Nurse Jennings” (Peter’s version), will deceive Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) by leading her to believe she is there as her new caregiver.
Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) plan to tell Peter their baby girl has died all while hanging her over to Brook Lynn in an attempt to swindle Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), may crash before it even gets off the ground. Unless Maxie’s intuitive radar goes off, Peter will figure out exactly what Maxie, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and Brook Lynn are scheming, making things messier and more dangerous than ever.
General Hospital star, Kristina Wagner, has been missed as Felicia Jones, by GH fans. Many have been wondering why she hasn’t returned for key storylines which would normally involve her character. Felicia daughter Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) story is front and center as the entire city of Port Charles tries to take down the man Maxie thought she loved and trusted.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has made Maxie’s lore a living Hell, and many have questioned why her mother, Felicia, wasn’t at her wedding that didn’t happen.
General Hospital news reports confirm the upcoming return of Wagner as Felicia Jones. Wagner has not been on the set of GH since the pandemic.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Kristina will take part in the specifically tribute episode, dedicated to GH star, John Reilly. The episode is set to air on May 21st.
After some confusion over a recent General Hospital news report regarding James Patrick Stuart’s new Disney role. GH fans began wondering whether Stuart would remain on General Hospital as Valentin Cassadine.
General Hospital news reports James has addressed the topic of him leaving GH in a recent tweet.
General Hospital spoilers reveal his explanation, and status with the daytime drama. Rest assured, James Patrick Stuart is not leaving General Hospital. The new Disney pilot he will be filing 15 minutes from the GH stage. Stuart has “no plans on hanging up Valentin’s dancing shoes any time soon.”
I am currently working on a Disney Channel comedy pilot. We film 15 minutes from the GH stage so, should the show get picked up for series, and while it would create scheduling headaches for some very cool people, I have no plans to hang up Valentin’s dancing shoes any time soon.
Often times, General Hospital, and other soap stars expand their wings and use their talents outside of their main roles. And other times the actors and actresses move on entirely.
General Hospital news reports confirm GHstar, James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine), has been cast in a brand new role in a Disney pilot called, Amy from Amarillo. The show will focus on a family of super villains who are forced to go j to hiding, in Amarillo, Texas.
General Hospital spoilers reveal James Patrick Stuart will have more on his plate as the production of this new Disney show will take place next month.
General Hospital comings and goings rumors indicate that Stuart will not be parting ways with ABC’s General Hospital. It’s definitely possible for Stuart work stay at GH as Valentin Cassadine, while working on another project.
General Hospital Blog will keep you up to date on James Patrick Stuart‘a status with GH.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finally came around to Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) for Dante to work on this case which involves Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Despite being leery of his own personal health, he finally agreed, but is taking it one step at a time.
General Hospital previews show Dante geared up and ready to find Jason, and get to the bottom of what went down at the hospital. All they know is that Jason and Dr. Britt Westbourne are on the run, and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) plays a major role in their disappearance.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) will go along with Dante to help bring in Jason. They will set out to find him and Britt. Jason is a fugitive, and although he is innocent, he was still in police custody when he fled from GH. Sam is confident that if Dante brings her along to find Jason, she will be of aaaostanxe in getting him to return to Port Charles. But has Sam’s status as Jason’s priority changed now they why aren’t together? Carly Corinthos will always be priority to Jason. She and Sam used to fight for that spot in Jason’s life. But when Sam became his wife and the mother of his children, Sam came first, but Jason still did everything in his power to make Carly his priority too.
General Hospital rumors suggest there will be some tension between Carly, Sam, and Britt. Carly and Sam see Britt as a threat now that it’s obvious Jason cares for her. He saved her life and she’s saved his. He wants to protect her and he is doing just that. Is this the start of newfound love for Jason and Britt, and Dante and Sam? Or will Jason and Sam find their way back to each other?
General Hospital fans have kept their focus as they (im)patiently await the big storyline climax when SOMEONE, (we mean ANYONE at this point), stumbles upon and discovers that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has found a new life in Nixon Falls, outside of Port Charles, and away from all the pain she suffered. Nina is keeping her knowledge that Sonny Corinthos is alive, a secret from his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), his children, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Kristina Davis Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth), Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), and Donna (Ella and Emma Hulen), and other loved ones. Nina even lied to Jax (Ingo Rademacher), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Sonny’s stepdaughter, along with her friend Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), who Nina is a actually with.
General Hospital fans are becoming impatient with the current story as they are eager to see Sonny home, with Carly, and for Nina to get what’s coming to her.
General Hospital news reports disclose Maurice has disclosed some GH spoilers about what’s to come for Sonny as he tries to live life as Mike. In his tweet below, Benard makes it clear that he is enjoying this different pace while playing Mike as opposed to Sonny.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny will regain his memory, and be reunited with Carly and his family. “At some point, Sonny/Mike is going to get his memory back,” Benard ensured General Hospital fans. “And we’re gonna have a hell of a lot to play. Big time.”
