Despite everything they’ve been through, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) remain in each other’s side. As the other parent to their children, Sonny and Carly mutually respect one another and hold their positions in a place of honor.
Similarly, but not exactly, Sonny holds Ava Jerome (Maura West) in the same regard. It’s understandable as Sonny honors the mothers of his children, even if they’re no longer involved. However, he was never romantically involved with Ava. And furthermore, she had a hand in his and Carly’s son, Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) death.
The relationship between Sonny and Ava is nothing more than mutual respect, but some say that it’s much more than she deserves after her part in Morgan’s shocking death. She felt comfortable enough to turn to her child’s father in her time of need. Additionally, Ava trusted Sonny with her secret about Nikolas Cassadine.
According to GH recaps, Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) lead the search for Ava. That’s when she realized that something was very wrong. Meanwhile in Puerto Rico, Sonny and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) honeymoon was cut short when Carly called with the news she heard from Joss. Clearly, both Sonny and Carly have been there for Ava in her time of need. And according to GH spoilers, Ava tells Sonny and Carly Nina’s secret out of loyalty. She feels guilty that she’s been keeping this secret as they’ve gone to great lengths to find the truth. She’s watched Carly lose so much while all along she knew it was Nina who tipped off the SEC.
Will Sonny and Carly ever forgive Ava for keeping Nina’s secret?
Carly Spencer aka Corinthos (Laura Wright), and her ex-husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been more than generous with their kindness toward Ava Jerome (Maura West). Despite Sonny and Ava sharing their daughter, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), Sonny despised Ava for her part in his son Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) death.

Ava’s No Longer Under Sonny’s Protection

Despite Sonny and Carly’s kindness towards Ava, she decided to keep them from the truth. Ava never told Sonny or Carly that Nina tipped off the SEC. Did Ava ruin the mutual respect that had grown among them?
Spencer and Trina’s relationship is on thin ice. It seems that Spencer’s attachment to Ace (Jay and Joey Clay) doesn’t sit right with Trina. Because, time with Ace typically means time spent with his ex-girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Reflectively, Spencer and Trina’s New York trip was all Sprina fans had been waiting for. They finally had alone time to express their love, and their time together surpassed both of their expectations. Finally, their relationship was on the right track and Sprina fans were in their glory. I must admit, I’m a Sprina fan myself. That said, I’m a little bummed by what’s happening. But really, we all saw it coming. The crazy, manipulative ex-girlfriend turns into a needy sweetheart with major mom goals. Esme wants to the the best mother she can be to her son, and Spencer’s baby brother Ace.
However, General Hospital spoilers tease that Esme’s new personality, in combination with her living quarters could be enough to draw Spencer back in. Then, on top of it, GH rumors tease that Ace isn’t just Spencer’s baby brother, he is his son!
GH News Reports Confirm Netflix Movie Role, Is Spencer Leaving GH?
All that’s going on with Spencer and Trina, plus Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s new movie role has fans concerned. According to GH spoilers and news, General Hospital star Nicholas Alexander Chavez has landed a Netflix movie role. The Netflix series, Monster cast Chavez as Lyle Menendez. Lyle and brother Erik Menendez are known for murdering their parents in their California home. Because of this project and currently storyline vibes, GH fans fear the worst.
Don’t fear because GH news reports have yet to confirm any exit plans for Chavez. Instead, GH rumors hint that Chavez works double duty as he plays Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital while filming for Netflix. GH Blog will keep you up to date in the latest GH casting news!
Dex is Closer to Jason! Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) put his life on the line for Ava Jerome (Maura West), a woman he barely knows. You may ask yourself why he’d willingly do that, and the answer is simple. First, he works for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and it comes with the territory. Second, it’s in his blood. Yes, that’s right, it’s in Dex’s blood and obviously out of his head.
General Hospital recaps recall that Ava would have died if Dex and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) hasn’t stepped in. Moreover, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has a hand in saving her as well. But we all know the real bravery comes from the police officer (Dante) and the organized crime hitman, Dex. They get right into the action and do what needs to be done. Doesn’t that sounds familiar?

Lois Cerullo didn’t return to Port Charles to allow family members to walk all over her daughter. In fact, she came for the exact opposite. Lois learned that Deception fired Brook Lynn and that’s when she came running.
In case you kissed it, General Hospital recaps recall Tracy’s despicable behavior toward her Granddaughter Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Which, I’m pretty perplexed that she would even go there with BLQ considering how tough she is with the Bensonhurst blood. Clearly, BLQ is no pushover. But when it comes to love, especially her love Detective Chase (Josh Swickard), she becomes almost malleable. I say “almost” because even though she has a tough exterior, love changes her- but never permanently.
Regardless, Granny came barking up the wrong tree when she blackmailed Brook Lynn. Because now Tracy answers to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). According to General Hospital spoilers, Tracy has met her match. Her ex-daughter-in-law gives her a run for her money while she’s in town, and Tracy doesn’t know what to do.
GH spoilers tease that tension in the Quartermaine mansion thickens before Tracy back down. Will Lois be the one who actually puts Tracy in her place? Or will teacy run BLQ’s mama right back to where she came from-
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are getting to know each other. His attraction to her is genuine, and mostly in a caring and protective manner. Their spark hasn’t necessarily been love at first sight, but his need to protect her is enough for General Hospital fans to ship this couple.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Cody and Sasha become closer now that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is out of the way. She always had Sasha second guessing his intentions, when it was really Gladys who’s intentions were impure the entire time.
GH recaps: Although Sasha is grateful to Cody for all he’s done, she believes that leaving Port Charles is her best option. Additionally, Sasha has a laundry list of reasons why she thinks she’s better off in Austin Texas. For starters, PC reminds her of losing Liam, and of course Brando. Finally, unbeknownst to Sasha, but another reason to leave, is that Lucy and Maxie replaced her as The Face of Deception.
Is Sasha Leaving GH in October 2023?
According to GH spoilers, Maxie can’t convince Sasha to stay, and neither can Cody. If the model and survivor decide to stay, it’ll be by her own decision, and not by persuasion. According to General Hospital’s latest news reports and casting changes, no reports confirm Sofia’s GH exit. That said, GH fans, along with Sasha and Cody shippers remain hopeful that they will begin a new romance.

After Nina stole her husband and her career, not to mention how Drew is now in Pentonville suffering an excessive sentence. But now she has found another important outlet through her new job at the hospital.

And while her intentions are in the right place, this position as a patient advocate might not cut it for a someone like Felicia. That is, unless one of the patient’s that Felicia is assigned to leads her to another mission. Or something along those lines.
GH spoilers tease that although Felicia’s new job at GH as a patient advocate starts out slow and seemingly uneventful, (in the sense that she isn’t out saving Port Charles from disaster), something makes her feel right at home. Certainly, Stella and Felicia’s job at the hospital isn’t something to overlook. Helping patients connect with their doctor and to understand their condition is an essential part of medical care.
However, many GH spoilers and rumors tease that when something big arises, Felicia also rises to the occasion. Apparently Felicia is just the person this patient needs.
The current vibe among General Hospital fans have basically divided the audience into two modes. You’re either on Team Carly or you’re on Team Nina, and there’s no in between. She considers that her friend is going through a lot right now with Anna and Charlotte. Consequently, Nina’s secret is exposed just in time for Carly’s epic come back. Carly is on a mission to get her life back and this is the perfect start. Losing Sonny takes a toll on Nina. As a result, she’s ultimately headed for a breakdown. Ultimately, forgiving Nina for her lies becomes Sonny’s regret.
The wait is over! After almost three years, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) finally lands her man. Their journey is almost surreal, but she pinched herself and she’s not dreaming. Finally, Sonny and Nina are husband and wife.
