General Hospital: Britt Saves Joss from the Hook Killer
Are Britt and Josslyn WSB Agents together?! Or is Britt working against the Bureau? Maybe she’s waking in dear old dad’s footsteps and got tangled up with the DVX? Jason Morgan believes that he saw Dr. Britt Westbourne at the airport, and the mystery is about to unfold!
General Hospital Recaps: A couple of years ago a serial killer ran loose in the streets of Port Charles. This savage took on the name, “The Hook Killer,” and took the lives of innocent people in PC. It turned out that the hook killer was none other than Heather Webber (Alley Mills), or to avenge her daughter Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). She targeted all who stood by strings Robinson (Tabyana Ali) at her trial. Although Dr. Westbourne wasn’t a target, she was killed saving Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) life, or so it seemed.
Suspicious Timing- Saving Joss and Liesl’s Port Charles Return
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Britt staged her death, and is involved with the WSB. At the time of her death, Britt was in the right (or wrong) place at the right (or wrong, however you look at it) time, and saved Joss from who was named as Heather Webber. In retrospect, saving Joss could have been all part of the plan. After all, Josslyn is now working for the WSB.
Additionally, Liesl’s return to Port Charles raises eyebrows as she “just so happened” to pop up right when Jason believed that he saw Britt at the airport.
General Hospital: Does Liesl (Kathleen Gati) Know Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) Is Alive?
Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s return to Port Charles makes for some interesting timing. Kathleen Gati left General Hospital in December 12, 2023. Dr. Obrecht dipped out of Port Charles 11 months after the death of her daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Recently, General Hospital comings and goings news shocked fans when word broke that Kelly Thiebaud was returning to the daytime drama. While General Hospital spoilers promised and then delivered, GH fans received an added bonus with Kelly’s return as Britt Westbourne.
Along with news of The Britch’s comeback, GH fans were pleasantly surprised to see her mom, Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s back in Port Charles. As nice as it is to have Kathleen back as Dr. O, her return raises curious questions. Such as, why now? Why did Liesl return just as Britt emerges from an alleged death, and back into the land of the living?
Liesl
According to the latest GH rumors, Liesl knows more than she’s told even her closest confidants. The WSB is a large part of Liesl’s life. Because she’s the daughter of Liesl and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), Britt is no stranger to the inner workings of the WSB. Additionally, this storyline screams of the WSB not that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is getting involved.
This week on General Hospital, previews and spoilers tease Britt staged her death, and Anna and Jason put in efforts to find her. Clearly, Britt is working on some covert operation. If Britt chose this path, was it worth giving up her entire life for whatever this is? Her friends and family, an impressive career as a Doctor and Co-Chief of Staff at GH, and most importantly, her mother Liesl. That is what Britt left behind, and so much more.
What if Britt didn’t leave her mother behind? And if Liesl has known Britt is alive this entire time? Crazier things have happened. One thing certain is that WSB agent Jack Brennan knows that Dr. Britt Westbourne is alive.
Tony Geary Left General Hospital and Luke Spencer Ten Years Ago On July 27, 2015.
Can you believe that it’s been ten years since Luke Spencer’s farewell?! On June 22nd, 2015, Tony Geary filmed his last scenes on the set of General Hospital. He was surrounded by his GH family as he said goodbye to Luke Spencer, his “life” in Port Charles, and the cast and crew he spent 37 years with.
Reportedly, General Hospital news confirm that July 27, 2015 marks ten years since Tony Geary left General Hospital as the unforgettable Luke Spencer. Geary played the iconic adventurer for 37 years before his decision to leave the longest running daytime drama, the ever-popular General Hospital.
Fast forward ten years and Luke is still mentioned often, even now. Tony Geary’s portrayal of Lucas Lorenzo Spencer will never be forgotten, and will always be honored in Port Charles.
General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors:Nina had Sidwell Payoff Judge?! Well, at least for once Nina isn’t going to blame Carly for all of life’s problems. That was so Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), and we are all well past that, aren’t we? Nina’s long lost daughter, Nelle, was a terror, and tortured Carly and her family for years because of past trauma.
When Nelle died (trying to steal Wiley and basically kill Carly), Nina blamed Carly as if she pushed that psycho off the cliff. . We all have eyes, and we know that’s not what happened. Actually, Carly even tried to help that lunatic, but their hands slipped and they lost grip.
For so long Nina cried Carly at every turn, blaming her for every little- and big thing that went wrong in her life. She lived for her vendetta against Carly, and for more than her fair share of revenge against her. Lately, Nina and Carly’s eruptive communication style has simmered down to somewhat acceptable level of civility. The reason; one word, Drew. Despite Willow and Michael’s broken marriage, Carly and Nina have an understanding. Neither grandmother wants Congressman Cain anywhere near Michael and Willow’s children.
According to General Hospital recaps both grandmothers have gone to great lengths to get through to Willow. Oddly, the young mother’s refusal to comply with demands to leave Drew has cost Willow her children. But is that the real reason that the Judge awarded sole custody to Michael Corinthos?
Recently on General Hospital, details surrounding the Corinthos custody battle reveal foul play in the Judge’s verdict. In fact, Sidwell paid off the judge to rule in favor of Michael. But, WHY?!
Why Did Sidwell Pay Off The Judge To Grant Michael Full Custody?
Perplexing, isn’t it? Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has made it very clear at this point that simply taking over Sonny’s territory won’t do. He’s wants Sonny dead, plain and simple. So why would Sidwell bribe a judge to rule in his son’s favor? One word, Nina.
Did Nina Ask Sidwell For A Favor?
Nina Reeves trash talked Sonny in an Aurora Publication because Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) blackmailed her. Tracy wants Sonny gone so badly that she’s associating herself with the likes of Sidwell and Boyle. Financially, Sidwell was running the show, pushing the Measure C Campaign.
Did Nina approach Sidwel? According to General Hospital rumors, Nina’s smear campaign against Sonny is the price she had to pay for a certain favor. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for Sidwell to pay off the judge to benefit a Corinthos. So, perhaps Nina asked him to. In her mind, Nina figured that if Willow lost her kids BECAUSE OF DREW- which was clearly stated in the courtroom and beyond- that it would knock some sense into her. If Drew is the reason why she lost her kids, then it seems like an easy solution. Drop Drew. That’s probably what Nina expected to happen. If the judge ruled in favor of Michael. Sadly, that plan blew up in Nina’s face.
Do you think that Nina asked Sidwell to pay off the judge? And was her publicized attack on Sonny payment for the favor?
Was Willow Right About Nina?
Did Nina literally try every single thing to turn Willow away from Drew except tell the truth? Would she have gone so far as to make Willow lose custody, and make sure that Drew was to blame?
General Hospital: Curtis (Donnell Turner) Betrays Nina (Cynthia Watros)
Curtis and Nina have been friends for years. Their friendship has survived apersonal losses, complicated loyalties, and messy choices on both sides. But General Hospital rumors tease there’s trouble ahead for these pals. Drew has severed many ties between people who care for one another. Will he be the cause of Nina and Curtis’s rift too?
According to General Hospital recaps, Curtis Ashford and Nina Reeves discussed Drew Cain. Naturally, they both agree that Drew must be stopped. Curtis is determined to put an end to Drew, and is willing to risk big to accomplish his goal. From what it sound alone, he’s even willing to destroy a friendship.
Curtis Betrays Nina
Coming up on General Hospital, the ongoing war between Drew and well, almost all of Port Charles, escalates. GH spoilers and rumors tease that Curtis (Donnell Turner) makes a big move against Drew (Cameron Mathison). Unfortunately, it doesn’t come without great cost to others. Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) agree that their days of being blackmailed by Drew must come to an end.
As GH recaps recall, Portia is ready to turn herself in. Curtis is at the point where he basically wants to ruin his Drew’s life. And what better way to do that than to break up him and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Strategically, there’s no better way to break up Drew and Willow than to tell Willow he was sleeping with Nina.
The latest GH rumors speculate that Curtis foreshadows an inevitable fallout between himself and his pal Nina. He said to Nina, “Sometimes, Nina, you have to betray a friend. It never feels good, but when you have no other choice, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.”
General Hospital’s Sasha Leaves Port Charles, Sofia Mattsson Goes Home to Stockholm
The streets (and mansions) of Port Charles are no longer safe, and proper action must be taken. Since organized crime runs rampant in Port Charles current dangers are automatically suspected to link to Sonny Corinthos. After all, he is a five families kingpin. His extensive career in the life of crime has given Sonny quite a reputation around the city. When it comes to this coffee importer, most people either love him or hate him, or even love to hate him!
According to recent General Hospital recaps Michael believes that Daisy is in danger due to the nature of his father’s business. At this point, Sonny probably thinks that the disturbances with Daisy are all Sidwell‘s doings. Little do they know, it’s Willow who is using Daisy to spook Sasha.
Although it’s been rough, Michael didn’t put up a fight when Sasha said she wanted to take Daisy away from Port Charles. He knows that it’s for the best despite how much it hurts. Will Michael ever see Sasha and Daisy again?
Sasha’s Leaving… Will Sofia Mattsson Return?!
Without a doubt, General Hospital fans became curious and rumors began to circulate. We can put those rumors to bed now because General Hospital’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, has confirmed Sofia Mattsson’s GH exit. A representative of General Hospital addressed Mattsson‘s exit and said, “There was a good time in the storyline for Sofia to leave to pursue other opportunities in film and TV.” Valentini added, “But she is open for a return in the future.” I love Sofia, she is a great actress and a dear friend. We will miss her, but we wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.”
Reportedly, Sofia Mattsson’s days on the Daytime Emmy winning TV drama have come to an end. Mattsson explains, “I started off thinking it would be just a few episodes on recurring status, so I definitely did not think I’d stay so long. But I will say it’s gone by incredibly quickly. From the start, I’ve seen every day as a challenge and opportunity to grow as an actress, and honestly, that mindset never stopped — I feel like I learned something new every day until the end!”
Sofia joined the cast of General Hospital almost seven years ago, and made her debut as Sasha Gilmore on September 18th, 2018. Thankfully, Frank left the door open and hope that one day Sasha and Daisy return to Port Charles. General Hospital Blog looks forward to that say. For now, Sofia (and Sasha) will be sorely missed.
General Hospital: Does Willow Have The “Crazy Gene” Like Nelle?
“5-1-5-0 Somebody call the Po-Po!” -Dierks Bentley. Willow Stalks Sasha’s Baby Daisy because… she has the “crazy gene”? A hospital baby swap, a change in position, a spinning mobile, and the color pink preferred over yellow. All of those things are what has the new mama spooked. Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) just gave birth to Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) baby. She is in motherhood bliss with her daughter, Daisy, and is grateful for her newfound family. The former Face of Deception widow has faced many hard times. Finally, Sasha is loving life after loss.
Meanwhile, once upon a time Willow Corinthos was leaving the dream. After a lifetime of struggle- cult life and a mother who well, wasn’t, Willow got over the hurt Harmony created, put down her walls and accepted Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as her mother. She was married to a Quartermaine/Corinthos with two beautiful children, and never had to want for anything.
Willow Stalks Sasha’s Baby Daisy
Now that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has lost her children to Michael (Rory Gibson), she feels empty and has nothing left to lose. Coming up on General Hospital, the mystery surrounding baby Daisy heightens as more and more peculiarities present themselves. According to GH recaps, Sasha expressed her concerns to her cousin Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Neither have made sense of the situation just yet, but Cody did joke about there being a ghost among the Quartermaine mansion.
While that sounds eerie but unlikely, the alternative is much worse. If someone is really stalking Daisy, it’s only a matter of time before they make their move. But who? Well, who has…
Access to the Quartermaine mansion? ✅
A Reason For Revenge? ✅
Headed For A Breakdown? ✅
“Crazy” in her genes? ✅
Willow. Ms. Willow Corinthos has become a shell of herself after the judge ruled in Michael’s favor, and she lost her two precious children. According to previous reports by General Hospital Blog, Katelyn MacMulled shared a telling spoilers in an interview with co-stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson. GH’s Jason and Spinelli took a deep dive into Williow’s psyche. Katelyn MacMullen took them on a tour through Willow’s life. From Shiloh, Harmony, and the cult, to leaving that life behind, marrying Michael, and everything in between, nobody expected Willow to end up like this.
The brave young woman was raised by Harmony, battled Shiloh, Nelle, Nina, and even leukemia. She’s raising two kids and is a proud nurse at GH. Sadly, the once formidable Willow is now a lost soul. Many blame Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and many blame her genetic makeup. Yep, Willow has the “crazy gene” just like her sister Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Truthfully, I think it’s both. Willow has the gene to snap at any time, and became a lunatic like her sister Nelle. But, I also believe that something has to trigger her, and cause trauma. That’s right, Drew is the trigger, Nelle is the malfunction.
Does Natalia die on GH?! Natalia has been a controversial character since her arrival in Port Charles. Eva LaRue joined General Hospital in February of 2024, and instantly made an impression on the people of Port Charles, as well as General Hospital fans. Her TV daughter Alison, aka Blaze (Jaqueline Grace Lopez), was romantically involved with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) daughter, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi). Natalia made it clear that she didn’t support her daughter’s LGBTQ status, which wasn’t received well by many.
However, Natalia did in fact self reflect and come to some type of understanding and honesty with herself and Blaze. Then, she and Sonny grew closer until her ex husband, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) waltzed into town. That’s why Natalia ultimately betrayed Sonny by hiding truth and spilling tea that wasn’t hers to spill. Now she’s gotten herself into some hot water.
This week in General Hospital, it looks like Natalia goes on another drinking bender. Her alcohol consumption has already gotten her into her current mess, and she unintentionally dragged Sonny with her. GH recaps recall that Sonny offered Natalia a new life in exchange for her silence. DA Turner’s (Nanzeen Contractor) deal was less than ideal, and Sonny figured that sending Natalia away is the best solution for the predicament. But when Natalia learned that things weren’t as they seemed, she wasn’t too happy.
General Hospital: Natalia’s Furious With Sonny
Is Eva LaRue Leaving General Hospital?
Coming up on General Hospital, Natalia blows up the plan to leave Port Charles- (pun initially unintended lol). She’s drunk and furious, which could be a lethal combination. According to General Hospital spoilers, there’s an explosion at Charlie’s. Is Natalia behind the Blaze (wow that worked out again lol) that sets Kristina’s bar up in flames?
Daytime star Eva LaRue is well known for her role as Dr. Maria Santos on ABC’s All My Children. LaRue was previously nominated for Daytime Emmys in 1997 for Outstanding Original Song for co-writing, “Dance Again with You,” and again in 2004 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. But in 2020, Eva LaRue won her first Daytime Emmy, and took home Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her role as Celeste Rosales on The Young and the Restless.
Reportedly, LaRue joined General Hospital as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez about a year and a half ago. During that time she made her debut, and stirred up controversy in Port Charles. Natalia got close to Sonny Corinthos, and then her shady past caught up with her. Sidwell was revealed as her ex-husband, and she betrayed Sonny’s trust. Now, she’s a liability.
General Hospital: Nina, Jason, Willow, and Sidwell
Why in the world did Nina and Sidwell send cryptic glances actress the room? Could it be that Willow Connects Nina and Sidwell?!?! Nina Reeves still has her sea legs when it comes to motherhood. Her adult daughter Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) came into her life only a short time ago. So it’s taking some time for Nina and Willow to really grasp that mother-daughter feel. Willow’s life was turned upside down when she leaved that her mother wasn’t actually Harmony, but rather the woman who gave her life was none other than a woman she despised- Nina Reeves. Eventually, they put their differences aside and agreed to try to build a relationship. As for Nelle, we aren’t even going to go there today.
Coming up on General Hospital, Nina continues to act in her true nature. She plots, schemes, and lies, all in the name of “I do it for my daughter.” Perhaps Nina should be in family court over custody of Willow- because many would argue that Nina doesn’t actually have her daughter’s best interest at heart. I know, I know… Willow is over 18, and a custody battle is absurd. It was just a joke.
We know that Nina is desperate to end Willow’s relationship with Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). She is doing everything in her power to sever those ties except for the one thing that she should do- which is tell the truth. The problem is that if Nina tells the truth about sleeping with Drew, she will more than likely lose Willow forever. That’s not something Nina is willing to risk. However, General Hospital rumors claim that Nina is already on track to destroy her relationship with her daughter- with or without her dirty little secret coming to light.
Nina’s Why Willow Lost Custody
Previously on General Hospital, Nina and Sidwell shot curious looks across the room. Why would those two have a reason to make that type of unspoken connection? GH rumors hint that it’s because Nina is behind the custody verdict. If it isn’t one lie then it’s another with Nina. Apparently, Nina may have gone to extreme lengths to succeed in breaking up Willow and Drew. According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Nina’s connection to Sidwell is Willow.
General Hospital: Jordan Comes Between Portia and Curtis
Do you see it coming? Curtis Betrays Portia With Jordan?! …Mr. Honesty is an understatement if we are referring to the way Curtis Ashford perceived himself. He thinks he’s the creator of the word- and all else fall beneath him as Chairman of the Trust Club. Honestly, (no pun intended), Mr. High and Mighty is more like it.
This week on General Hospital, things heat up between Curtis and his ex-wife Jordan. As we all know, (because he makes it a point to tell the world over and over again), Curtis left Jordan because he couldn’t get passed the fact that she kept a work related secret from him. Despite knowing the nature of her job, Curtis still chose to take her omissions personally. Ultimately, he ended their marriage over trust issues.
General Hospital Recaps: Recently, Curtis admitted that he thinks he may have made the wrong decision; that he gave up in his marriage to Jordan prematurely. Uh, oh! Curtis is having regrets about leaving Jordan- while married to Portia! Their poolside conversation down memory lane sucked them into their own little world. Sadly, Portia was there to see it all go down right before her eyes.
Can they deny the obvious and inevitable? It seems as though Curtis and Jordan never really got over their feelings for each other. According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Curtis betrays Portia with Jordan.
What would Mr. Honesty have to say for himself if he ever cheated on Portia with Jordan? Hypocrisy at its finest.
