Well, that was unexpected! In all honestly I was a bit thrown for a loop when Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) showed up at Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) bedside. She didn’t go to check up on him. Instead, Esme’s reason to visit Spencer’s hospitalized uncle has everything to do with her, not the recovering assault victim.

So, what made Esme turn to uncle Cyrus? First, Spencer’s ex-girlfriend and Ace’s mother doesn’t know where to turn. She doesn’t have a friend around and trust is a two way street with major roadblocks. GH recaps highlight how no one trusts Esme, and she doesn’t fully trust anyone. Despite Laura’s consistency, Esme questions her authenticity.

Moreover, logically Esme knows that it’s not Laura’s fault that she’s in this mess. Still, she’s viscerally fueled by her son having been kidnapped. That seems pretty normal, right? Yes! But is it normal to decide against police assistance when your child is missing?! No. That right there tells me that Esme is leaning more and more toward her evil bloodline. Esme 2.0 never would have put herself first while crying “Nik stole my baby, and Spencer helped!” She would have done absolutely anything, even if that meant self sacrifice. In fact, Esme’s already proven she’d put her freedom at risk when she agreed to Laura plan to confess.

On the other hand, the old (pre-pregnant parapet freefall into frigid waters) Esme wasn’t so selfless. Actually, she lied, schemed, and committed crimes as petty revenge. Prior to her amnesia, Esme was almost as cold and calculating as her father.

GH spoilers and rumors tease that the current Esme exhibits qualities (or not) from both versions of herself. Similarly, she and Cyrus have that in common. Two people who in their sudden rebirths practice exculpation as their most dependable life skill have come together. They’ve gone from downright bad, to exhibiting righteous preaching while simultaneously keeping that criminal mind. The only difference is that they know have reason to justify their terrible behavior.

GH rumors hint Esme and Cyrus become an ultimate force. Their mutual, evil-do-gooder mantra serves them well with their investigation into finding baby Ace and his father, Nikolas Cassadine.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has lost his mind! He has spent nearly an entire year observing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Amnesia had knocked her into a new identity where she is a kind and loving new mother. Of course, Spencer had to see to believe, and what he saw was a good mother.

On the contrary, Spencer has observed his own father for years, and what he sees is a toxic parent. So why in the world did Spencer do what he just did? According to General Hospital spoilers and recaps, Spencer’s suspicions lead him to give up Ace to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). That’s when he so proudly told Esme that her son was gone and in the care of his unstable, absentee father.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Ace’s big brother faces his own devastating losses. Aside from losing Ace (willingly) to Nikolas, Spencer finds himself on a side all alone as Trina and Laura become infuriated with the man they thought loved Ace. It’s no secret that the Quartermaine and Corinthos families aren’t the best of friends despite their intermingled members. The Quartermaines were never particularly fond of Carly (Corinthos) Spencer because of her entanglements with both of their son.

In retrospect, Carly caused a lot of problems for the Q family back in the day. It was back when she got pregnant by AJ (Sean Kanan), but convinced Jason to pass baby Michael off as his own. Over the years Carly and the Quartermaine family have managed to play nice most of the time. Needless to say, some members of Michael’s biological paternal side have held resentment toward Carly and Sonny for raising Michael as a Corinthos when he’s technically a Quartermaine. But the Qs are known for their tough exterior, especially Tracy Quartermaine. That’s why Tracy’s next move is a shock to her family as well as GH viewers.

According to the latest GH previews, Michael gets Tracy’s approval despite having been the family black sheep of the younger generations. Perhaps it’s time that Tracy realizes that Michael has paid his dues as a Quartermaine throughout the years. GH rumors tease that Michael’s just as shocked as the viewers when Tracy’s pat on the back is sincere.

Is it possible that Tracy approves of Michael’s recent, covert business scheme? First, Michael knew that Nina was the one who turned his mom and drew into the SEC and stay quiet. Then he showed Nina his hand and used it to his advantage. All keeping the truth from his mom and dad. Everything about this earns Tracy’s stamp of approval.

As if Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a right to be upset at Laura! Ugh, the nerve. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ava, I do. But her hypocritical ways sometimes have me taking another side. And that’s exactly how I feel about Ava in her fight against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

General Hospital recaps highlight Mayor Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) hand in Esme’s arrest and sentencing. Since Ava wanted to press charges to teach Esme a lesson, she isn’t the happiest camper at the moment. She wanted so badly for Esme to get booked at Pentonville. However, Ace’s grandmother, Mayor Laura pulled some strings.

According to recent GH spoilers, Ava lashes out at Laura. She wants so badly for Esme to pay for her crimes in some way, that she didn’t even consider the baby. Baby Ace is attached to his mother as any child would be to their loving parent. That’s why Laura stepped in and made a deal for Esme. After all, sending Esme to Pentonville wouldn’t be in the best interest of baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).

Over the years Tyler Christopher became a household name, and the role of Nikolas Cassadine was iconized by the Emmy winning actor. That’s why it’s not surprising that those who’ve played the role after Christopher look upon his work as a guide.

Fast forward some years and a few Nikolas Cassadine recasts later, General Hospital found the perfect fit. GH fans warned up to Marcus Coloma in no time, becoming comfortable with his portrayal of this beloved character.

General Hospital news reports confirm that GH is onto yet another Nikolas. Adam Huss seems to be the permanent fixture after Coloma’s shocking GH exit. Despite the fan backlash, Marcus Coloma has yet to return. However, Huss has made a big impression on fans after the emotional scene with his tv son. Shockingly, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and his dad Nikolas reunited after dear old dad’s disappearance. The most shocking part of this all is that Nikolas and his son put their issues aside for Ace and for their own relationship. The scenes were natural and raw. Additionally, Nik and Spencer’s emotional scene seem to capture a familiar feel.

Evidently, Adam Huss extensively prepared for his first major Nikolas Cassadine scene. Recently, Huss revealed to Soaps In Depth, “I watched a lot of scenes between Tyler Christopher and Nicolas Bechtel. What a beautiful dynamic they had, especially in the scenes around the fire when Spencer got burned and Nikolas was at the hospital.”

From there Huss then filmed the Nikolas and Spencer reunion scenes with Nicholas Alexander Chavez. GH spoilers reveal Adam’s take on Nik and Spencer’s relationship. He continued to Soaps In Depth, “I believe what transpires between them is sincere, and there is a sincere want and need from Nikolas to reconnect with Spencer. Which is why he is ready to face whatever he is going to face when it occurs. I also believe he would be willing to do whatever it takes in that moment to get what he needs. It’s definitely interesting, the direction it goes in.”

Our prayers have been answered! Well, I know that mine have. I can’t say that I speak for all of us, but I will say that the majority of GH fans share my sentiments when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Steve Burton’s GH return is the absolute best news we’ve received in a while, especially after 2023’s devastating losses.

Despite the tragic losses, GH fans can find something to smile about. Jason Morgan’s comeback has been a bright spot for many since losing Sonya, Jackie, Billy, and Tyler. Of course there are more we’ve most, which are equally as sad. But as they say, life goes on. Thankfully many look forward to Jason’s Port Charles return, especially when it comes to his reunions. Sonny, Carly, Michael, Sam, and Spinelli, come to mind as the most impactful, along with the Quartermaines.

However, Jason and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) reunion is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Okay, maybe that was a little dramatic. But I am a die hard JaSam fan. Let’s just say that I own Sam’s star necklace and have the same shaped star tattooed on my body.

Who Does Jason Love?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason has a few love interests to choose from. Although sadly Britt is deceased, Sam and Liz are still around. But they aren’t for the taking- for now. Of course, someone new is always a possibility. Sam is currently with Drew, and Elizabeth and Dr. Finn keep giving their relationship the old college try. Nothing is guaranteed and either of those relationships could crumble.

Will Jason’s return ignite another JaSam vs. Liason fan war? Personally, I think Jason and Sam are endgame. One of my favorite things (other than the star necklace) that they share is their love for the color black. Whether it’s a black t-shirt or a black leather jacket, black is definitely Jason and Sam’s color.

Yes, Nina took Carly’s half of the Metro Court right from under her. As if that wasn’t enough, Nina then snitched on Carly and her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC.

Now that the cats out of the bag and Nina’s deception and lies have been exposed, she now deflects the blame onto Carly and Sonny’s son. See, she blames him for Carly’s anguish because he knew what Nina had done and didn’t tell her mom or dad. However, Michael’s only known since October, and there were many factors involved in his decision. That’s why General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that things won’t go as Nina planned. Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t for Nina then Sonny’s life wouldn’t have imploded. Despite outside forces coming together to keep Sonny alive and keep him alive, internal choices are to blame. GH recaps recall that Sonny didn’t die after he fell off that bridge. In fact, he was found and nursed back to health. In addition, he was given a warm bed and a roof over his head from a dear friend. Sonny could have died that day. But instead, external factors were involved in his rescue. Sadly, the choices he made himself are what ultimately separated him from his wife, Carly, and the rest of their family.
