It’s been almost two full months since General Hospital star John J. York revealed that he would take a break from his role as Mac Scorpio due to a recent diagnosis.

Previously, General Hospital news and spoilers reports revealed York’s announcement. That’s when John J. York addressed his recent medical diagnoses, which lead him to reveal that he suffers from two blood and bone marrow disorders. Those disorders are myelodysplastic syndromes, or MDS, and multiple smoldering myeloma, two blood and bone marrow disorders.”

York’s announcement brought fans together in support for the search for a bone marrow match. In his announcement, the GH vet gave information on how we could become potential donors. Moreover, it wasn’t just his fans that displayed immense support for York. His friend Jon Lindstrom reached out to the world via social media, sharing donor information. Then, soon after, John announced that they had found a match! Fast forward two months and his friend and co-star John Lindstrom updated fans on his prognosis.

Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) made quite a first impression on Josslyn Jacks. It wasn’t necessarily a good first impression, but it was an impression alright. Adam first approached Josslyn with ill-intentions, and she quickly out him in his place. Then, he apologized after he realized the severity of the situation and how it effected Joss.

First, Adam got caught up in the viral revenge porn video that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and sent out to the entire campus. The nature of the video fueled its viral status, and also ignited something in Adam. That’s when he made his misogynistic comments to Josslyn about her and Cameron’s sex video. At the time, he didn’t know that it was unintentional and that it was deemed revenge porn. Then, Josslyn explained that she was indeed a victim, and from then on she and Adam became friends.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Adam takes his friendship with Josslyn to another level. But it might be a while before he openly admits that he wants her as more than a friend. Instead, GH spoilers and rumors tease that he keeps his intentions to himself for the time being. But even though Adam hasn’t revealed his true intentions, his behavior raises suspicions.

Devastation and loss seem to have come in surplus lately as the General Hospital community suffers great heartache. From Sonya Eddy to Jackie Zeman, Billy Miller to Tyler Christopher- and more in between, it’s undoubtedly been a hard year.

According to General Hospital news reports, sadness continues to loom over the GH community. Just 6 short days after Tyler Christopher’s death, another loss hits close to home. For General Hospital star Eden McCoy, everyone else’s “close to home,” is her actual home. Sadly, Eden McCoy mourns her mother’s death.

GH news and spoilers reveal that Eden became very vulnerable in her public, emotional message. The young star shared the news via Instagram, which she referred to as, “the most impersonal space.” Her post contains a picture of her mother, along with another picture consisting of Eden and her parents.

Eden’s touching message not only displays her pure love for her mom, but she also puts things into perspective. I can somewhat relate to Eden as she grieves for her mother. When I was pregnant with my first child, my mom passed away suddenly. As it turns it, she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and she died within two days of going to the ER. Although not all situations are the same, the pain of losing a mother is uniform. According to Eden’s post, her mom suffered a two and half year battle with cancer. No matter how you look at it, losing a mother hits different regardless of how it happened.

Undeniably, General Hospital fans went crazy over everything Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) went through. Gladys and Dr. Montague’s stunt was the last straw as fans demanded justice for Sasha. She’d suffered to major human losses, and lost her own freedoms while entrusting it to Gladys. As if that wasn’t enough, then her own mother-in-law sold her dead husband’s garage from under her nose. Naturally, Gladys Corbin has to pay off her gambling debts somehow. So, why not sell what belonged to Brando (Johnny Wactor)? That’s just how Greedy Gladys thinks. Next, she stole Sasha’s money to pay off even more, and hired a creepy doctor to keep her drugged and unfit to look over her own finances. Sadly, this scheme almost kicked Sasha, but Cody (Josh Kelly) and crew print into action, and you know the rest.

If we go back in time, it’s clear that Sasha isn’t the only damsel who has been distressed beyond the norm. Laura Spencer, among others, carry that reputation as well. However, as the years go on, Laura continues to feel loss and heartache. Not to mention she was also held captive in her day. The daytime television world was shaken to its core when the Emmy winning, General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives star, Tyler Christopher died suddenly. He was only 50 years old. Recently, he had bravely opened up about his life and the hardships that he faced due to mental illness and addiction.

Previously reported, GH Blog shared the news after General Hospital’s Maurice Benard broke the devastating news via social media. General Hospital news reports confirmed that Tyler Christopher died on October 31st, 2023.

As the community mourned Tyler’s passing, many took the opportunity to spread mental health awareness. Particularly, Tyler’s friend and former co-star Maurice Benard. Tyler joined Benard on his YouTube series, State of Mind, and discussed mental illness, addictions and other life experiences and struggles. Tyler’s vulnerability and strength were transparent in his interview as his darkest hours were aired for all to learn.

GH Recaps: Although Joss and Cam’s relationship developed over time and through their friendship, they ended up growing apart romantically. Cameron went off to college on a soccer scholarship after Josslyn broke up with him for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

His project with Lighthouse Films has him starring in a series called, The Untitled Band Project. Surely, Cyrus has gotten about as close to finding God as I have to finding my keys when I’m late for an appointment.

Who would have thought that Cyrus and Nikolas Cassadine would work so closely together? It’s true, things aren’t always as they seem. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Nikolas and Cyrus have more of a relationship than anyone imagine. However, not all relationships are good. Even those among family. Cyrus may very well be Nikolas’s uncle, but that doesn’t mean they have a good relationship. In fact, Nik’s long lost uncle is one of the last people he’d want to be in cahoots with.
