There is never a time when the Cassadine family isn’t plotting against their enemy. As per usual, every generation of Cassadines has beef with the Spencer family. For Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), the battle between her family and the dark royals of Port Charles is just another day. Her days as Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) other half taught her a thing or to about outsmarting a Cassadine.

Because of their family history as enemies, Laura and Valentin Cassadine’s alliance goes against the norm. trusting a Cassadines isn’t something Laura is used. However, it isn’t just Laura and the Spencers looking over their shoulder.

Nina can’t let Carly win! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) opened up to her dear friend, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) about her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). In a therapy-like setting, Phyllis helped break down Nina’s walls. It was then that she confessed her true feelings.

What round is this?! Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves go round after round in their ongoing life battle. General Hospital recaps revisit all the reasons these two women are enemies. To begin with, a young woman who turned out to be Nina’s biological daughter got her thrill from torturing Carly’s family. Specifically, her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) relationship with Michael was extremely toxic. Her extensive list of criminal behavior includes but isn’t limited to seduction, attempted murder, and kidnapping. Ultimately, Nelle went full-on psycho mode, threatening the lives of Carly’s loved ones.

One thing lead to another and Nina found herself in love with a married man. However, he wasn’t just any married man. Nina fell in love with a victim. Sonny Corinthos suffered from amnesia when Nina took advantage of him and the situation. Kept from his wife and kids, Sonny didn’t have the opportunity to get in touch with his true self. And from then on, “Mike” became part of Sonny.

Nina Can’t Let Carly Win!

Since stealing Carly’s husband, Nina also took Carly’s career right from under her. Now, the Metro Court belongs in part to Nina. Based on Nina’s track record, it’s difficult not to think she’s out to take over her arch enemy’s life! That being said, General Hospital rumors and spoilers indicate that Nina continues to insert herself into Carly’s identity.

Previously, General Hospital Blog reported that Nina had an epiphany. Through her talk with Phyllis Caulfield Nina sorted out her feelings. That lifestyle promises power, money, and respect, and other superficial advantages. On the other hand, living a life of crime is sure to catch up with you someday. And even the most respected can end up dead.

The superficially rewarding business comes with risks. As a single person having no kids involved, the mob-life is less of a threat. However, instances where spouses and children come into play tend to get more complicated. And some of those risks are too much to justify.

As Port Charles’ reining mob King, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found the perfect life partner. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is his rock. Although times got dark and difficult , Carly never gave up. Now that life has taken Sonny and Carly in different directions, Sonny doesn’t have the same type of support.

Sonny’s Out Of Nina’s League

Mr. Cassadine has no problem going to extremes to make sure he comes out on top. But, the tables have turned. Now, it’s Eileen Ashby’s (Heather Mazur) turn to do what has to be done.

General Hospital recaps recall, before having been caught, Eileen is now in a worse position than prior to working for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Because; she has much bigger fish to fry now that she has been caught. She was duped by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) while made to believe she was haunted by their ghosts. Political corruption comes with a price. Now, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Anna, and Felicia call the shots. Eileen is treading lightly as to not cross any of her “bosses.” The dream team spy crew uses the Deputy Mayor as an informant. And in doing so, the Deputy Mayor tries to pump Victor for information in the most obvious way.
