We all know this is a General Hospital Blog, (hence the name, haha), but we find it absolutely important to show our support for our fellow shows in the genre. Earlier this month, DOOL fans were blindsided with the shocking news that the entire cast and crew of the show were let out of their legally binding contracts, thus allowing the individuals to seek out other work. The reason behind the contract release was due to the announcement that Days Of Our Lives would be on ‘indefinite hiatus.’ It was said that the daytime drama had enough episodes taped to carry them through Summer 2020, and then the decision would be made to renew or not renew for Days for another season.
This good news posted by Deadline, has reassured DOOL fans and Daytime fans alike, the show WILL continue on for season 56. Oh happy “DAYS!”
The week leading up to Thanksgiving and beyond is about to get explosive! General Hospital Spoilers reveal things are about to shake up as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) can’t handle the verdict Sam (Kelly Monaco) received. He will do anything to get Sam out of jail, and he gets right down to business. Jason will find out who is behind this and who will take the ultimate blow for making Sam wind up in Pentonville.
In Jason’s quest to save his wife, Sam, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will begin to feel uneasy and unsafe as roads lead Jason right to Peter. Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has returned from her trip and is desperate need to reconnect with her “son” Peter. As of now, GH viewers are led to believe Anna is Peter’s mother, however, Anna may have found information discovering that her twin sister, Alex, is actually Peter’s mother. General Hospital rumors lean toward the majority of fans thinking Alex will turn out to be Peter’s mother. In Anna’s attempt to bond with Peter, General Hospital spoilers hint Anna will be able to pick up on peculiar behavior from Peter. Something just seems off with him, he seems distracted. Anna’s close friend Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is and has been suspicious of Peter all along. General Hospital spoilers hint to look for Anna to discover Peter’s secrets the first week of December.
When it comes to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), the only time she questioned Peter was in regard to the purchase of the house, and the strange way he was behaving in front of Maxie and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). GH rumors claim once Anna makes her discovery about Peter, she will have no choice but to expose him and all of his lies, thus turning Maxie’s happy world into turmoil.
Kendra Lennon (Michelle Argyris) marched into Port Charles on a mission. Her sole goal was to destroy the woman who killed her brother. Kendra is the sister of Kiefer Bauer (Christian Alexander), the young man who dated (and abused) Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter, Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).
One tragic night, an accident happened which resulted in Alexis running down Kiefer with her car. It seemed to some that the incident may have been done on purpose with intent to harm or kill the boy who was dating her daughter. That truly wasn’t the case, and it was indeed an accident. Kendra doesn’t buy it. She is out to seek revenge on Alexis in the name of her brother. Her plan was to get close to Alexis as her ‘life coach’ and slowly poison her with thallium tainted protein drinks. Now that her plan has failed after TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Dr. Finn (Michael Easton) figured out what was happening to Alexis, she has to come up with plan B.
General Hospital spoilers tease a familiar scenario. After Kendra’s plan to poison and kill Alexis has failed, it has been rumored that Kendra will run Alexis down with her car, just as her brother Kiefer was killed by Alexis. Alexis was able to escape Kendra’s evil plan the first time around, but will she be able to dodge death twice?
General Hospital spoilers reveal a major plot twist as the devoted Nina (Cynthia Watros) is finally over Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)! She is done with his lies and his creepy, criminal, and down right dangerous behavior.
General Hospital spoilers for the rest of this week, November 21st-23rd, reveal secrets and under handed plots. Nina goes over to Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) house and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) happens to spot her. He manages to dodge the situation before Nina gets a glimpse. Jax is caught off guard by Nina’s presence and he tries to act quick witted and charming.
At first when Nina tells Jax why she is there, Jax becomes irritated after Nina invites him to her wedding to Valetin. Jax can’t believe she would really keep him around after everything. Jax declines the invitation.
All the while Nina has a plan of her own. She isn’t having a wedding to actually marry Valentin Cassadine, but she is set out to take him down for good! Apparently she wants the whole town of their nearest and dearest to be witness!
Will Nina be able to string Valentin along until the big day? We sure hope so!
The last couple weeks have been touch and go when it comes to if we will be seeing General Hospital on our screens each day. We have missed whole episodes, been able to catch half, and been surprised with the whole thing. The fact remains that ABC and GH Executives will continue to reach out to fans and give a heads up on when the episodes will be aired.
Today from General Hospital’s Official Twitter account, fans were informed (US) that today’s episode will replay tomorrow, Thursday, November 21st. As for Canada, they get an encore.
Due to the ongoing impeachment hearings, today's episode of #GH will instead air tomorrow. Thank you for your patience with these interruptions. pic.twitter.com/lXHxKve2KO
After the verdict came in for Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and she was found guilty and sentenced to two years in Pentonville, GH viewers and the residents of Port Charles alike may just see a twist no one saw coming.
General Hospital Spoilers have confirmed that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Shiloh (Coby Ryan McClaughlin) did indeed get married in the slammer. As shocking as it may be, it really isn’t all that surprising. After all, Nelle and Shiloh are both lying, scheming, dangerous individuals who will stop at nothing to get what they way. It just so happens they wants the same things, baby Wiley and money. General Hospital Spoilers hint that Shiloh is not dead since he and Nelle are married.
Shiloh has it out for Sam since she stole what his fortune all those years ago. As if being the leader of the Dawn of the Day cult and brainwashing Sam’s sister, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), wasn’t bad enough, it would make total sense that Shiloh would want to continue his revenge on Sam by framing her for his murder all while he’s actually still alive.
As for now, Shiloh is dead and Sam has been found guilty and sentenced to prison. General Hospital spoilers indicate things could definitely change. In Sam’s case, it would actually be great news if Shiloh were alive. She’d then go free.
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) isn’t the type of woman to be bullied or backed into a corner. She’s a tough cookie and she’s always ready for what comes at her.
Currently, Hayden is working with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) in order to recover the codicil that belongs to Nikolas. That important item is what rightfully belongs to Nikolas Cassadine and ultimately his son, Spencer Cassadine.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) won’t just let the codicil, and the fortune, slide through is fingers and into the hands of any of these three. General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin and Hayden have an argument as he warned Hayden, “It’s gonna her unpleasant.”
While standing at the docks near Pier 54, Hayden is on her phone and caught off guard as she is grabbed from behind and attacked!
Valentin wasn’t bluffing when he gave Hayden that warning. Will Hayden be kidnapped? Will she be able to get away and prove who is behind this?
Ever since Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrived in Port Charles, she has been haunted by the loss of her baby daughter she was told never made it. As GH viewers know the history, and that Nina’s daughter is actually alive and well out in this universe, it’s difficult for many fans to let go of hope that there is a daughter out there somewhere for Nina.
Nina’s most recent heartbreak involves Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), the young woman who was put up by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to pretend to be Nina’s daughter. When the truth came out and the bombshell was dropped on Nina’s wedding day, Nina was beyond devastated and of course, lashed out at Sasha. As of now, Nina is leading on that she has no clue Valentin was involved with this huge lie that turned Nina’s life and emotions upside down.
General Hospital rumors have played around with the idea Nina knows what Valentin has done, and for now she is playing dumb. However, that is still uncertain.
At this point, Nina is sick and tired of the tug of war on her heart after losing a child and then thinking Sasha is her long lost daughter, only to lose yet again. Good news! There may be hope for Nina and her daughter reuniting! In an interview with Soaps In Depth, actress Katelyn MacMullen had something interesting to say about her character Willow Tait possibly being Nina’s daughter. In reply to the possibility that Willow could be Nina’s daughter, MacMullen said, “That would be insane. It would be a huge twist… except people are expecting it, right? Because why do Willow and Nina hate each other so much? It’s be cool!”
There are so many possibilities for this story line and it seems the actress would be excited to dive into this direction as Nina’s daughter. Katelyn MacMullen even agrees that having her character Willow and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) become sisters on screen would be “best case scenarios,” and says that she and Sofia want a story line together!
Setting Willow Tait to be Nina’s daughter is a viable option but has not yet been confirmed. If the writers take note as to where Willow’s portrayer, MacMullen would like to see this character head, there is a great possibility this could be the path they choose.
What do you think? Is enough enough? Should the writers leave poor Nina’s character alone with it comes to finding her daughter? Or should she be written to finally have that happy reunion?
Last week on November 11th, GeneralHospital and Days Of Our Lives star, Tyler Christopher made headlines as reports came flooding in of his arrest and charge of public intoxication.
Despite this incident happened on the actor’s 47th birthday, the result was not just a one time thing to chalk up to too much birthday fun. Friends and co-stars rallied for Christopher in support of their friend. Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) along with Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky Spencer) are among some of the celebrities and friends of Tyler Christopher who reached out on Twitter to show support and clear the air. Nancy Lee Grahn made it known that this situation is serious, even stating in her Tweet, Tyler is “at risk of losing his life.”
Today, General Hospital news reported by michaelfairmantv.com, states that the Judge who sentenced Christopher to two counts of misdemeanor public intoxication and a $440 fine, has rejected the Police’s request to our Tyler Christopher into a rehab treatment program. We are unsure at this time why such a ruling was made. It is also known that police were called regarding Christopher’s behavior multiple times since September.
General Hospital Blog continues to support and extend prayers to Tyler, his family and friends, and all those who care for and wish him well. Our hope is for a fast road to recovery.
As reported last week, it has been confirmed that Vernee Watson will be returning to General Hospital in her role as Aunt Stella Henry.
Stella was on vacation in Europe, which happens to be where her close friend and Sonny’s father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail), is living with Alzheimer’s. Now that Stella has returned to Port Charles, General Hospital spoilers reveal she will have an update on Mike for Sonny, and the news is pretty grim. Stella informs Sonny that his father’s health is declining and that he and the family should spend as much time with Mike now that they possibly can. Seeing his father this way isn’t easy for Sonny. Things begin to get difficult emotionally for Sonny as he and Mike have a rocky past but care deeply for each other.
Although it’s uncertain how much time Mike actually has left, we know the Corinthos family will be by his side to show their love and strength as a family.
No doubt Max Gail and Maurice Benard will bring 110% to the table in these scenes for some gut wrenching heart ache. Stay tuned to see the story unfold.
