Little Jake is Alive! Check Out Recaps of His Death, It Will Bring You to Tears

LuckyJakedeathGeneral Hospital’s Summer Stunner is no doubt one of the biggest shocks we could have ever asked for. A few years ago Elizabeth Webber and Jason Morgan lost their son when he got out of Liz’s house and was hit by a car. His adoptive father Lucky was beside himself at the loss of his son and the fact that his own father, Luke, was the hit and run driver.

These gut wrenching scenes will bring you to tears as you watch Elizabeth, Jason, Lucky, and their loved ones go through what no parent should ever have to experience… the loss of a child.

Helena has always been evil, but we have just realized her maximum capacity at evil doing. As it turns out, little Jake is not dead, in fact, he is very much alive. In this week’s scenes where Luke Spencer and Helena Cassadine said their goodbyes, she informed Luke that she has a parting gift for him. That gift, is that the grandson he thought he killed while he was drunk driving, is not dead at all. Instead, little Jake was part of another one of Helena’s evil plots to put the Spencer family though Hell.

Take a look at this amazing video recap created by a GH fan, YouTube user. It will definitely bring you to tears, and give you a little history refresher in the process. Take a look!

General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Pushes Lulu Right Into Dillon’s Arms

Lulu1Dante has messed up, big time! He made a huge assumption last week when he followed Lulu and saw her meet up in a hotel room with her high school ex-boyfriend, Dillon Quartermaine. Dante immediately thought the worst, that his wife and the mother of their son, was cheating on him. We all know that is certainly not the case, as Lulu and Dillon set out to help her parents, Luke and Laura, save her brother, Lucky.

Dante was upset with the assumption that Lulu had been cheating, and instead of waiting until she returned to confront her, he confided in her cousin, Valerie Spencer, and ended up taking her to bed. Now that Dante knows the truth, as Lulu pleads for forgiveness for lying to him about her true whereabouts, he is guilt stricken by how he handled the situation.

Dante and Lulu are definitely a fan favorite couple, and fans have been outraged that Dante would do such a thing, as he has always been an honest man. It’s true that he has always been an honest, family man, but he also has a certain part of his personality that has been insecure when it comes to his relationship. He has a jealous streak, and he jumps to conclusions about his wife and her intentions.

This might be the last straw for Lulu. It’s ironic that Lulu found herself apologixing to Dante, for saving her brother, all the while he was sleeping with her cousin. Could this be what drives Lulu straight into Dillon’s arms? Perhaps Dante will get what he deserves, and what he accused his wife of, will now actually happen.

What do you think, are Dante and Lulu over for good or will they be able to see past one other’s mistakes and find their way back to each other?

General Hospital News: Finola Hughes’ Hiatus Update

FinolahiatusAs we know, Finola Hughes character, Anna Devane left Port Charles to spead Duke Lavery’s ashes in Ireland. Hughes went on a Summer hiatus and was predicted to be gone from the GH canvas for about 3 months.

The latest reports of General Hospital spoilers from Soap Opera Digest suggest that Finola Hughes will be headed back to General Hospital sooner than expected. This is great news for Anna Devane fans as she will be popping back into Port Charles before Summer’s end.

It’s still uncertain the exact date of her return, however, General Hospital Blog will keep fans informed on any further confirmation of her return.

General Hospital Spoilers: Little Jake Webber is Alive, Who Staged His Death?

LuckyLizGeneral Hospital spoilers were spot on when we were warned that there would be a “Summer Stunner,” This Summer on General Hospital is going to heat up rather quickly. With Lucky back in town, and an awkward confrontation between him and Liz, Luke leaving Port Charles, Dante and Lulu on the fritz, Liz lying to Jake, and Sam… things are about to explode!

Lucky just told his father, Luke, that he didn’t kill little Jake, that Jake is actually alive. All this time Luke and his loved ones were lead to believe that his irresponsibility with his drinking, and his off mind-set was the cause of Jake’s accident. Who in the world would want to fake a child’s death and pin it on Luke so that Luke is guilt stricken for the rest of his life? Is it safe to say that we think it’s Helena Cassadine? As Tony Geary’s character Luke Spencer comes full circle in preparation for his farewell, it makes perfect sense that Helena would be behind such an evil plan. Since the beginning of the Spencer family, the Cassadines have been out to destroy each and every one of them emotionally, mentally, physically, and in any way possible. The Spencer family has been tortured by Helena and her psycho family for decades.

Dante and Lulu: Whose Side Are You On? Find Out What Team We Are On!

ValDanteFor us over at General Hospital Blog, this one is a no-brainer. However, there have been many General Hospital fans who have been arguing the opposing side. There have been countless debates in General Hospital Facebook groups such as Loyal General Hospital fans, arguing for and against each party. Here is what we think…

I’m just going to lay it out on the table, nice and bluntly. Dante was just diagnosed with foot in mouth disease. Seriously, I mean, how stupid should he feel right now? Jumping to the assumption that his wife, Lulu, would immediately jump into bed with her ex, Dillon Quartermaine just days after he arrived back in Port Charles, I mean, come on! Does he not know his wife at all? After all they have been through, dating, through marriage, and through trying to conceive little Rocco, does Dante think Lulu would throw that all away at the drop of a dime? Apparently, he does think that, and it’s actually what HE ended up doing. Yes Lulu lied to her husband, but lying to protect her brother’s life doesn’t even come close to justify being cheated on.

The opposing side, those who blame Lulu, claim that she is at fault for not trusting her own husband. When will Dante (and the fans) realize that this ISN’T about Dante? Certain situations have a great way of exposing people’s egotistical mind set. Dante just had to make this about HIMSELF. God forbid he put himself in Lulu’s shoes, and tried to understand that her own brother’s life was at stake, and that her parents made her swear not to tell a soul, especially a cop. The risk was just too great. If anything had happened to Lucky because Lulu felt the need to feed Dante’s ego and let him in on the secret, life threatening situation, that would be an awful burden for her to bare for the rest of her life.

Not only did Dante ASSUME his loving, devoted, wife, his partner in life, was screwing around with her ex-boyfriend from her teen years, he then tried justifying his continued anger with her due to the fact that “she lied.”

As stated before, this to GH Blog is a no-brainer. Dante should have waited to confront his wife before acting out on what he THOUGHT his wife had done to him. Was this just an excuse for him to get with Valerie? Deep down, did Dante want a reason to sleep with Lulu’s cousin?

We won’t go that far as of yet, but we do feel that Dante is reaching. Now Dante must justify his betrayal to himself and he is coming up with an excuse for his behavior. He is even throwing Luke into this argument. He is displaying feelings of jealousy toward his father-in-law, and his wife’s devotion to helping him. Dante has some serious insecurity issues that he needs to address STAT, in our honest opinion.

We want to know what the fans think! Are you #TeamDante or #TeamLulu?

Jason and Sam May Not Be an Item Yet, But Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller Might Be

KellyBilly2General Hospital fans, particularly, JaSam (Jason and Sam) fans have been waiting for what seems like forever for Sam to reunite with her husband Jason. Currently, Sam is still unaware that Jason is alive and well and right under her feet in Port Charles. Jake Doe also doesn’t know that he is actually Jason Morgan. Fans are at their wits end, trying to keep composed as they anxiously wait for the day Sam realizes Jason is alive.

Although we are waiting for Jason and Sam to be together as a couple, Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller may have taken that leap in real life. According to Soap Opera Digest, Kelly and Billy were spotted over 4th of July weekend in Malibu. Photos of the two co-stars were taken of them being very friendly and close. Fans Can’t Blame GH Writers for This One, The Proof is Right Here

hollyLast week in a scene with Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), fans were at first confused, and then quickly became outraged at what they had just heard. They had jumped to conclusions and automatically assumed that General Hospital Head Writer, Ron Carlivati had re-written history.
When Laura and Holly were discussing Luke’s cousin, Bill Eckert, what was heard was definitely not what fans had expected.
In an effort to clear things up, GH Head Writer, Ron Carlivati shared a photo of the script and was was supposed to be said bu Emma Samms. Emma Samms (Holly Sutton) later owned up to her mistake via twitter.

GH Head Writer Under Attack by TV Guide’s Michael Logan

RonCIt seems like there are bouts of real life General Hospital drama every now and again, and it’s usually the writers vs. the world. General Hospital Head Writer, Ron Carlivati has to deal with a lot from fans. Being constantly criticized, it must be exhausting.

Twitter seems like the place to be if you want to incessantly complain about something… and in this case it is a perfect outlet for fans to whine about General Hospital, directly to it’s creators, Ron and Frank. Except this time it isn’t just a fan. TV Guide’s Michael Logan had a few choice words for GH’s Head Writer, Ron.

General Hospital News: Seeking New Character

General Hospital spoilers and news have revealed that GH executives have posted a casting call. It looks like we will be getting a new face around Port Charles. The question is, will this new face be a replacement for an actor who has left the canvas, or will this be an entirely new character altogether?
They are seeking a new character, an African-American male. This man is said to have to be in his mid 30s, and should be “very handsome, dynamic, and charismatic.”
This will be for a contract role on GH.

General Hospital rumors have speculated, guess that this may be a recast for Sean Blakemore’s character, Shawn Butler.

Let us know what you think. Is this casting call for a recast or a new character? General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on any new information, and any confirmation of an actor chosen for this role.
