Beginning in 1963, the first episode was aired on April 1st of that year. Its longevity earned the show its status as the longest running drama on television.

Productions such as Roseanne, Friends, House, Gilmore Girls, Jeopardy, along with numerous mentions from ABC News meteorologist Tracy Butler, and of course GH’s own Stephen A.
