Cesar Faison has always had a talent for playing mind games. Whether it’s delusions or dupes, Faison makes it a point to ensure that his target second and triple guesses their own sanity. Guess who else likes to play mind games? Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) latest and allegedly final project had Anna Devane thinking she was delusional. Ironically, she’s been cleared by the mental hospital, yet she’s still seeing a ghost.
Who was Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to Faison anyways? And why would some random guy care about carrying out Faison’s final project? So much so that he recruited and forced two of Faison’s children. Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and her brother, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) were key elements in completing the protocol. So who has that much vested interest in the cold fusion project?
Why would Cullum care about anything Faison was into, upto, and whatever else? A logical explanation is that Anna is right. Peter is Cullum’s Faison Connection. After all, he is one of Faison’s children. The only people who would care enough to carryout Faison’s evil experiment. Perhaps it’s Peter’s brain that was in the jar- and then inside Ross Cullum’s head?!
General Hospital’s Ross Cullum Dies! RIP WSB Director Ross Cullum! And that’s a wrap for one of the coldest and most apathetic villains to hit the streets of Port Charles. Despite Cullum’s villainous nature, his portrayer, Andrew Hawkes is actually the polar opposite. Talk about phenomenal acting. Hawkes obviously has his craft on lock down.

On Thursday, 7-2-26, General Hospital was filled with action and suspense at every turn. The dramatic showdown featured an epic shootout between the WSB, a Corrupt WSB Double Agent, and civilians who were part of a secret project. Many were injured in the violent power struggle. Ultimately, The WSB’s Double Agent was shot and killed by Agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Ross Cullum can no longer harm the people of Port Charles.
Actor Andrew Hawkes has finished his run in General Hospital as Cullum. According to recent GH news reports, Cullum is officially dead, and Hawkes said goodbye to his villainous role. Previously, GH news reports revealed that Hawkes’ role as Cullum was projected to last only four episodes. Evidently, the Andrew Hawkes’ portrayal was a big hit among General Hospital fans. The character became an essential element to the Faison’s final project storyline.
In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Andrew Hawkes shared his sentiments on his time on GH, and his inevitableexit. “The way I look back at the whole experience, honestly, is that I just fell madly in love with the cast and crew. They’re just incredible people, and I’m astonished by them and all the work that goes into putting the show together. When you’re working with professionals who are really enjoying what they’re doing and trying to do their best work, it’s just the best feeling. You feel like you’re on a team.” Andrew Hakes explained.
Making Lasting Friendships

Additionally, the TV/Film/Theater actor shared his experience on set, and his observations of some of his cast-mates. “So entertaining and so good at what he does,” is what he thinks about his co-villain (Sidwell), GH’s Carlo Rota. Hawkes describes Kelly Thiebaud (Dr. Britt Westbourne) as a “brilliant actress,” and admitted that she “lights up every scene she’s in.”
It’s apparent that costars Andrew Hawkes and Chris L. McKenna have become real life friends. Both have shared photos and videos together on social media, and even got their wives together for a double date. His loyalty to friendship is evident in what he told SoapOpera Digest about Chris L. McKenna (Jack Brennan). We have become very close. If you don’t like Chris McKenna, I’m sorry, lose my number! He’s such a good man. All his fans out there should know just what an incredibly good human he is.”
Although Cullum’s demise was inevitable, Andrew Hawkes explained that he was prepared for the end but still emotional over having to say goodbye. According to social media comments across platforms, General Hospital fans share Andrew’s sentiments. It’s sad to see him go despite the cold and calculated role he played. And might I add that Hawkes played the role of WSB Director Ross Cullum impeccably.
Cullum’s Softer Side
Just kidding! He doesn’t have one! But Andrew Hawkes sure does! GH fans fell in love with him through his Instagram posts where his true personality shines. From my observation, Hawkes is a genuine, kind, empathetic family man, and the polar opposite of the role he played.
His wife played a major role in sharing parts of Andrew’s life and highlighting his personality on social media. Andrew’s kind heart shocked fans and ultimately drew in fans that Cullum would not have acquired if it wasn’t for social media. We don’t know what we don’t know. So, having gotten a look into the man behind Ross Cullum was how General Hospital fans fell in love with the actor even though his character is evil.

Carly and Nina use each other’s daughters as weapons against one another. If Cullum finds out that Joss (Eden McCoy) is a WSB Agent, then he could kill her. Because it can also be assumed that anyone would become a suspect if an investigation lead to Marco’s phone being in their possession. It could even make that person the number one suspect in Marco‘s murder.
According to recent General Hospital rumors, the PCPD investigates Lucas for the murder of Marco Rios. GH recaps recall when fake Nathan tried to throw Lucas under the bus to Sidwell. He went out about how it was personal and that Marco knew his killer in order to let him get that close. Then he told Sidwell that Lucas didn’t have an alibi for the exact timeframe that Marco (Adrian Anchondo) was killed.
Sidwell (Carlo Rota) acted quite suspicious with Lucas as they looked at photos of Marco. Fake Nathan, a.k.a. Cassius Faison has already gotten into Sidwell’s head. He planted the seed and now I’ll call him has to do his plant Marco’s cell phone among Loukas’s belongings. That won’t be hard since he lives at Wyndemere

Over the weekend, Chris L. McKenna and Andrew Hawkes took their wives out for a double date. are friends outside of Port Charles, that’s for sure.
WSB Agents Jack Brennan and Ross Cullum may work for the same Bureau but they are on the same side. Cullum is a corrupt double agent, and Brennan is dedicated to the WSB. These two are definitely not simpatico co-workers let alone friends. However, off-screen Jack and Cullum’s portrayers are quite friendly.
General Hospital News reports reveal that these two wild cards took to social media to share a pic of them hanging out outside of work. Cullum and Brennan’s date night alongside their wives shows a very different dynamic between the actor’s relationship vs. the relationship between their two characters.

And that would be fine and completely understandable if she shared the same sentiments towards Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Josslyn’s hypocrisy has been increasingly irritating since she herself has become someone whose job is to eliminate the bad guys.
There’s poetic irony behind the latest GH spoilers and rumors. Imagine that Sonny saves Josslyn from Cullum after being berated and blamed for the last few years.
