Selina blackmails Britt! And she’s got the leverage to do it. Britt has a sketchy past as a result of being Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) daughter.

Britt and Cesar may have been on the run in the past, but Britt can’t run from her past. First came a warning. Selina Wu (Lydia Look) took one look at Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and without hesitation, she warned her to stay away from Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Brad’s Aunt Selina doesn’t play around when giving orders, or well, ever. The serious nature of Ms. Wu would intimidate even the most established person in power. Although Dr. Britt Westbourne is a strong, intelligent, capable woman, she can’t help but to succumb to Ms. Wu’s threats.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint Selina takes things further with Britt as her threat becomes a full fledged blackmail. Selina has to be certain she chose the right man when it comes to trusting Cody Bell to work as a “ringer” for her poker games. Selina sees Britt’s presence in Cody’s life as nothing more than a distraction. The stakes are high for Selina and she needs him to be on his A game at The Savoy, without interference from Dr. Westbourne. This is where Selina blackmails Britt to ensure she keep her distance.

Britt may be headed to jail if Selina reveals Britt’s crimes committed back when on the rein with Cesar. GH rumors hint Selina could force Britt out of Port Charles! Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has always been the brother Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) never wanted. Taking after their father, Peter carried out his life in the only way he knew how. He was raised by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and it shows. Peter inherited Cesar’s criminal mind while Britt’s Huntington’s disease is all she took from their father.

In addition to enduring family dysfunction, Britt has an even more personal problem to face. Britt’s Huntington’s Disease is now a way of life for the young doctor. Britt inherited the incurable disease from her infamous father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt’s Huntington’s Disease diagnosis will continue to play a role in the development of her character. In a recent Instagram post, General Hospital actress Kelly Thiebaud shared a photo of herself at the 8th annual Freeze HD event. the star was invited by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.

GH news and spoilers indicate Thiebaud has become and advocate for this incurable disease while spreading awareness. Kelly admits to being unaware of HD prior to being given her current storyline on ABC’s General Hospital. Kelly thanked HDSA for inviting her to the event, as well as, Briana Lane (temp Brook Lynn Quartermaine), for connecting her to the organization.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint Cody has been leaving Britt in the dark about a major piece of HER life. Cody’s arrival made quite a splash, while the first impression he made was on Britt.

General Hospital recaps recall how Britt found the strength and courage within. She had to make a decision that could effect her future. Britt was faced with the knowledge that she carries the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease; a disease passed down from her father, Cesar.

Cody’s secret connection could have involved him working with Peter and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in Victor’s grand scheme. Part of his scheme was luring Britt’s mom, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to a conference for Huntington’s disease. Victor knew she would do anything that involved learning more about her daughter’s diagnosis. As it turns out, it was a trap.

Cody was curious about Cesar, who happens to be Britt’s father. Cesar’s ties to Peter, Liesl and Victor, may connect Cody to Britt. Britt’s Huntington’s diagnosis was a set up, Cody may have been the one to fake the results. He’s been holding back from her since they met, mysteriously interested in Cesar. Perhaps he wanted to know more about Peter’s father… as he may have been the one to put Cody up to faking her results.
