…All aboard! General Hospital often welcomes new faces to the cast family. With new faces comes new talent, so we embrace the addition. However, from time to time a newbie arrives and doesn’t really sit well with the audience. I think it’s safe to say that’s not the case for Evan Hofer.
General Hospital news reports confirm that GH’s newest good-hearted bad boy is a Kansas native. Evan’s older sister wanted to pursue a career in entertainment, so when he was around 14-15 years old, Evan’s family moved out to California. In an interview, Evan Hofer reveals what inspired him to act, and explained the early days of his pursuit.
Hofer refers back to his sister who wanted to pursue he career in music. It was then that his family moved from Kansas to Cali, opening up opportunities for Evan as well. When Evan was around 14, his sister’s interest lead him down his own path. “She [sister] started to do plays… and I just wanted to spend time with her,” he admitted, “so I got into it as well, just so I could hang out with her. It all worked out well, and I fell in love with it.”
Evan Hofer Reveals GH Experience
GH spoilers reveal Hofer has had experience in recurring Disney roles, such as in Disney’s Kickin’ It. Hofer admitted that he auditioned for other soap roles, along with other GH roles. Thankfully, Dex Heller was the perfect fit. He joined GH on May 5th, 2022. Hofer reveals he’s grateful for his experience. “I am really grateful that so much of my stuff early on was with Mo,” he states. “This is a new medium for me and I’ve been able to learn from him. Mo really took me under his wing on day one. I actually found out after I met him the first day we worked together that we’ve both worked with Frances Fisher [ex-Suzette, Guiding Light], who is a wonderful, spectacular actor that I learned a ton from when I worked with her a few years ago. She told me, ‘You’re working with Maurice! I know Maurice! We did a movie together [Lucy & Desi: Before The Laughter]!’ It kind of became a great connection for Mo and me.”
Dex chooses Sonny over Joss! When coming to Port Charles, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) didn’t expect to fall in love. In fact, his sole mission was to work for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as an informant against Michael’s father. Shortly thereafter, Josslyn Jack (Eden McCoy) entered the picture.
According to General Hospital recaps, Sonny and Michael’s relationship was strained after Sonny betrayed Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and their family for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Ironically, Michael found just the man to help bring down his father. Dex just so happened to be as eager to bust Sonny as Michael. That being said, Michael and Josslyn aren’t expecting Dex to jump ship. However, Dex and Sonny’s few bonding moments set the foundation for a twist.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Josslyn and Dex might not have what it takes to stick it out through all the danger and drama the mob life brings. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Josslyn fell hard for the bad boy working for Sonny. Despite disapproving of his position, Josslyn couldn’t resist. Thankfully, she found out they were actually on the same page about Sonny when Joss learned of Michael’s. Now, Josslyn stands by in support as Michael and Dex carryout their plan.
According to GH rumors, unexpectedly, Dex has a change of heart when it comes to Sonny (and Josslyn). But what about his promise to Josslyn? General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Dex chooses Sonny over Joss. After all, if rumors of Dex’s paternity are true, the mob life is in his blood. Whether it turns out that he is Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) son, or even Sonny’s, Dex was destined for organized crime.
Kristina ruins Dex’s plans. Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) and her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are a close father/daughter duo. They always have each other’s back, and support one another in good times and bad.
Sonny Corinthos and his daughter Kristina are as close as can be. Over the years, their relationship has stood the test of time. Even through her teen years and awkward moments, Kristina and Sonny grew together instead of apart. As she grew and changed, Sonny always supported his daughter. Now, even as an adult, Kristina looks to her father’s support for comfort. Thankfully, she still has dear ole dad around to pick her up when she’s down.
Meanwhile, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) still plans to carry out Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) orders to bust Sonny. As GH recaps recall, Michael hired Dex as an informant to investigate his own father. Along the way, Dex fell in love with Michael’s stepsister Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Conveniently, she shares the same opinion about Sonny as Michael. So together, the three of them agree that taking down Sonny is the best option for all.
However, General Hospital spoilers and rumors claim that Dex, Joss, and Michael won’t be on the same page for much longer. When it comes to Sonny, Dex’s opinion changes. Ironically, Dex is influenced by another young woman who happens to be close to Sonny. Like Josslyn, Sonny is a father figure to her. In fact, he IS her father. According to recent GH spoilers, Sonny’s daughter influences Dex’s opinion about him. Suddenly, he finds himself empathetic to Kristina and the fact that she depends heavily on Sonny. Because I’d this change of heart, Kristina ruins Dex’s plans to take down Sonny.
Are Evan and Eden dating in real life?! Spring is sprung and flowers are blooming. In Port Charles, flowers aren’t all that blooms. New relationships spark all the time. But it’s not every time a couple comes along and instantly wins fans over. Only those couple captivate the audience for years to come. Not every couple can be the next Luke and Laura, Sonny and Carly, or even Jason and Sam.
Aside from on-screen power couples, it’s not uncommon for co-stars to become off-screen partners as well. When the chemistry is so genuine, it’s difficult to think about how it wouldn’t carryover into their real lives. According to General Hospital rumors, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)‘s portrayers might be one of those rare couples that become an instant success on-screen, as well as end up dating off-screen.
General Hospital news reports reveal that interested GH fans noticed some details they can’t overlook. When it comes to the GH actors and their real life, some allow fans the privilege to see inside their personal lives. It just so happens that Evan and Eden share highlights from their personal lives on social media. First, fans noticed photos of the two stars became more frequent while promoting General Hospital fan events. Then, Joss and Dex’s portrayers began to share more photos of themselves together, in what seemed like non-work-related pics. Moreover, social media exchanges started becoming more frequent. And prior, Eden sometimes shared pics with her then-boyfriend.
General Hospital spoilers reveal one of Evan Hofer’s recent tweets have fans the biggest clue into his love life. Reportedly, Hofer shared a pic of himself and co-star Eden McCoy in a retweet reply to Soap Opera Digest. In addition, according to GH news, the pic shows Evan and Eden in bunny ears and shared on Easter Day. Hence, fans began speculating about a possible romance between Joss and Dex’s portrayers.
Fans weigh in on Evan and Eden’s possible off-screen romance. Check out some tweets from curious fans!
One fan even insinuated that they were definitely making themselves comfortable in what looks like a family home. The Twitter user’s tweet can be seen below.
The latest GH news reports confirm Eden and travel blogger, José San Martín began dating in 2022. Although, no reports confirm Eden and José’s split, fans still speculate that they’ve moved on from each other. If so, there’s a pretty good guess on who each of them has their eye on now. ????
Josslyn is pregnant?! For most, trust and loyalty rank high among personality traits and are sought after by others. Without those qualities, it becomes difficult to carry on in meaningful relationships. Sonny feels the same way. Because of his business, trust in his professional and personal life is essential.
Although friends are nice to have, they come and go. Unlike family, friends are in your life by choice. As the same goes for someone you trust to have your back and keep your secrets. In the mob world, business is business. And for Sonny, he can’t run his ideal business without trusted and loyal employees. Over the years, the mob kingpin and family man collected a handle of employees who he trusted with his life. The one nearest and dearest to him is the (assumed) late Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Loyalty and Trust
After Jason’s alleged death, the world around Sonny started ti look different. Choosing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and pushing his son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) away changed everything. But one thing was certain, Sonny needed a trusted employee. Meanwhile, Michael was hell bent on destroying his father after. That’s where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) comes in. Michael’s plan to take down Sonny included using Dex as an informant. Michael advised Dex to do whatever it takes to earn Sonny’s trust. The ELQ Executive told Dex to get as close to Sonny as a son… oh the irony!
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny and Dex’s table talk could be a hint toward the truth behind Dex. Trusted by Sonny and involved with his step daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Dex is well intertwined in Sonny’s life. Moreover, Sonny and Dex’s dinner conversation revealed similarities between the mobster and his new prodigy. There’s a lot Dex is keeping from Sonny, including his relationship with Joss. However, GH rumors hint that the closer Dex gets to Sonny, the more he’ll want to reveal. In addition, GH rumors speculate that sooner rather than later Dex comes clean. Whenever there’s secrets, something happens that makes it impossible to keep.
If Josslyn becomes pregnant, it’s possible that Dex comes clean about his relationship with Joss and who he really works for. Will Dex’s honestly push Michael out of the son spot while simultaneously making him a Grandpa again with Joss?
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) cannot stand Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Ironically, the woman she loathes the most just became the woman she should love the most. But, despite discovering that Nina is her mom, Willow’s feelings toward Nina remain the same.
General Hospital previews and spoilers tease Willow is getting ready to become Mrs. Michael Corinthos/Quartermaine. In her final weeks, Willow wishes to come home and get married. As Willow’s time runs short, GH fans hope for a miracle. Will she survive?
Will Michael and Willow Get Married?
However, General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that all that could change when Willow feels betrayed by the one she loves. Unbeknownst to Willow, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) orchestrated a secret mission with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). In his effort to take down his own father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Michael hired Dex as a spy. Dex as Sonny’s trusted employee is nothing more than a plant. Although Dex actually carries out Sonny’s orders, he reports everything to Michael. Together, they strategize how to put a stop to Sonny.
General Hospital rumors hint that Willow is soon to discover another appalling truth. Aside from learning she’s Nina’s daughter, Willow learns unexpectedly learns something about Michael. GH rumors claim that mob drama rises. Out of nowhere, Michael finds himself in the middle of a mob war. Due to the abrupt threat, Willow learns that Michael is at the center as he tries to destroy Sonny.
Willow and Nina Roomies?!
Willow moves in with Nina?! According to GH rumors, Willow grows closer to Nina in the wake of Michael’s betrayal. The good news is, if Willow’s storyline is in development, she most likely won’t die. Banking on her survival, Willow reacts to Michael’s secret. If Willow finds out Michael is working against Sonny after the wedding, she’ll likely pickup and leave the Quartermaine gatehouse. If she learns the truth prior to becoming Mrs. Michael Corinthos, will she even go through with the wedding? Where will she go? GH rumors tease mother and daughter become two peas in a pod.
Will Michael and Sonny get back on track? Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is secretly plotting his father’s downfall. Unbeknownst to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under false pretenses.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Willow’s delicate situation brings father and son closer. Michael’s family gathered together to support him while his fiancé and their baby’s lives are in question. For the mobster, family comes first. Although Michael and his father are at odds, Sonny wants nothing more than to be there for his son and his family.
According to recent General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Michael leans on dear old dad for support as he sits and waits for answers. Despite Michael’s grievances with his father’s choices, part of him still knows Sonny loves and supports him.
Tragic events tend to bring families closer, even when they aren’t seeing eye to eye. General Hospital rumors tease that Michael rethinks his plot to take down his dad. However, what’s already in motion might not be able to be stopped. Dex is more determined than ever to get the job done. Meanwhile, he’s making promises to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that he can’t keep.
General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are going lovers facing harsher than usual judgement for being a couple, while doing typical couple things.
Yes, when we mention “typical couple things,” we are referring to the fact that these two college students in love had sex for the first time. Unfortunately, as General Hospital recaps recall, Cam and Joss’s first time was exploited by none other than their frenemy, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
General Hospital spoilers reveal, Cameron’s expression of concern for his and Joss’s relationship solidified the bond he and Josslyn have. The cute factor was all the way up to 10 when Cameron and Josslyn both called one another their favorite person. But we can’t seem to shake the thought that Josslyn isn’t as invested in the relationship as Cameron. Maybe that unshakable thought stems from Josslyn’s attraction to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
General Hospital spoilers reveal, although these young lovers have been through more than most at their age, they are at risk of drifting apart. As they grow up and their interests change, it’s likely that the love they once felt as kids won’t cross over to young adulthood. Josslyn has bigger ideas. Like her mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Josslyn is headstrong and determined.
Right now, Josslyn is determined to stop Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from corrupting Dex, while protecting him and others from Sonny’s dangerous life of crime and violence.
General Hospital rumors hint that Josslyn’s obsession with Sonny and Dex is about as heightened as Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) one track mind on destroying his own father. Cameron and Michael agree on the fact that Josslyn shouldn’t be getting herself involved in Dex’s life choices. Cam’s opinion on Josslyn’s need to protect Dex is a sure fire way to push her away and into the arms of someone else… someone like, Dex?!
After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) tortured while accusing him of being the Port Charles hook attacker, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thinks he has his father right where he wants him.
General Hospital recaps recall Dex’s statement to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when being questioned about his bruised and what Sonny had allegedly done to him. He told Dante that whoever told him Sonny was responsible, lied. When reporting back to Michael, Dex was able to please Michael with how he handled Dante’s questioning. Michael believes he has Sonny right where he wants him.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael proceeds with his plans fo destroy his father, despite Sonny’s desperate plea for Michael to understand the value of family.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Michael may think he has Sonny right where he wants him, but Dex could have other plans. Ever since the beginning, GH rumors have speculated that Dex will soon jump ship, having Michael’s plan blow up in his face.
There’s no denying the chemistry between Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). What started out as disapproval and disgust, has now turned into admiration and gratitude.
Josslyn is no fan of Dex working for her step father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and she was disgusted when she witnessed Dex roughing up some skeeze bag on Sonny’s orders. Yet the attraction was obvious, and Josslyn and Dex began to come to an understanding. General Hospital recaps recall Dex’s lack of hesitation when it came to helping Josslyn find her little sister Avery’s necklace. Hopping into a trash filled dumpster together sparked something Josslyn didn’t see coming- so much so that she needs to make sure her boyfriend, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) doesn’t get wind of it.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny has ordered Dex to stay close to Josslyn in terms of keeping an eye on her, while his real boss Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), warned Dex to keep his distance from his sister.
General Hospital rumors and spoilers indicate that Michael won’t be too happy when Dex is forced to stay on Josslyn’s tail, while also getting to know his other sister, Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth).
Dex is making quite the impression on the young ladies in Port Charles, and they both happen to be related to both his real boss as well as his undercover boss. Michael should have been careful for what he wished for because now his desire to destroy his own father will come at a price.
General Hospital rumors speculate there is a mob war brewing, and Michael just might be at the center. Will his plan to use Dex to take down Sonny take a drastic turn now that his two sisters are involved?
