General Hospital News: 2 Former GH Employees Sue ABC For Religious Discrimination

Back on November 1st, ABC and General Hospital’s vaccine mandate too effect, having each and every employee, cast and crew, to mandatorily receive the Covid vaccine.

General Hospital news and spoilers have previously reported on ABC’s mandate, naming two essential members of the cast; Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Ingo Rademacher (Jasper “Jax” Jacks), who were let go when they declined receiving the vaccine.

GH news reports confirmed that Ingo initiated a lawsuit against ABC after being denied religious exemption. Steve was also denied exemption.

Newly reported General Hospital news and spoilers confirm two additional employees of ABC have now sued the network over it’s mandate. Two essential crew members, Jim Wahl and Timothy Wahl, are exercising their rights and filed lawsuits with ABC and Disney after being denied religious exemption. ABC and Disney declined to comment on the current state of affairs.

General Hospital Spoilers: New Developments In Ingo Rademacher’s Lawsuit Against Disney Has Taken Things To A New Level

Former General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher joined the cast as Jasper “Jax” Jacks back in 1996.

General Hospital comings and goings news reports confirm Rademacher had been let go from the 59 year old daytime drama in November of 2021.

General Hospital news reveals that Ingo’s is pursuing his lawsuit against Disney after being fired over the vaccination mandate. Rademacher’s religious exemption application was denied, causing the actor to lost his job over when the mandate which went into effect November of 2021.

General Hospital spoilers reveal ABC network has issued a subpoena for documents regarding the organization, Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids. Rademacher has been accused of using the organization to find his lawsuit against Disney. Ingo is fighting back and is now requesting that the network not be allowed to obtain said documents.

GH news reveals Rademacher says the network is attempting to obtain, “confidential communications and attorney work product between,” himself, his attorneys, and “speculated litigation funder.” GH’s Australian born leading man alleges that the network is trying to destroy his [Ingo’s] character.

General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton Confirms He’s Left The Door Open To Return As Jason Morgan

American actor and fitness mogul, Steve Burton, has become a household name over the course of his career. With an impressive 3 decades under his belt at ABC’s General Hospital, the names Steve Burton and Jason Morgan mean so much to so many.

His sudden departure from the longest running daytime drama has left fans shocked and uncertain about the future of his role as the iconic mob enforcer, Jason Morgan.

General Hospital news confirmed that Steve was let go from the Disney owned soap opera after declining fro comply with their vaccine mandate. Since November of 2021, his role as Jason has come to an end. But GH fans question whether there is a chance at reviving the role with Steve, or if there will be a recast.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Burton has disclosed to information in an interview with Daytime Confidential. GH fans wonder if any bridges have been burned between Burton and TPTB. His response to fan’s inquiries is hopeful. He explains, “You never want to leave your home,” Burton said. “Especially when it becomes kind of unexpected. They had to do what they had to do, I had to do what I had to do.  There’s no hard feelings…”

General Hospital comings and goings rumors have hinted at a possible recast for the legendary role, which Burton fans don’t seem to be too excited about that. After playing Jason for 30 years, it’s difficult to imagine anyone else in that role. As was tried some years back with Billy Miller as Burton’s replacement, due to much resistance from Steve/Jason fans. the storyline was then written so that Miller’s role was not in fact Jason, but his brother, Drew Cain.
