It’s no secret that the Quartermaine and Corinthos families aren’t the best of friends despite their intermingled members. The Quartermaines were never particularly fond of Carly (Corinthos) Spencer because of her entanglements with both of their son.
In retrospect, Carly caused a lot of problems for the Q family back in the day. It was back when she got pregnant by AJ (Sean Kanan), but convinced Jason to pass baby Michael off as his own. Over the years Carly and the Quartermaine family have managed to play nice most of the time. Needless to say, some members of Michael’s biological paternal side have held resentment toward Carly and Sonny for raising Michael as a Corinthos when he’s technically a Quartermaine. But the Qs are known for their tough exterior, especially Tracy Quartermaine. That’s why Tracy’s next move is a shock to her family as well as GH viewers.
According to the latest GH previews, Michael gets Tracy’s approval despite having been the family black sheep of the younger generations. Perhaps it’s time that Tracy realizes that Michael has paid his dues as a Quartermaine throughout the years. GH rumors tease that Michael’s just as shocked as the viewers when Tracy’s pat on the back is sincere.
Is it possible that Tracy approves of Michael’s recent, covert business scheme? First, Michael knew that Nina was the one who turned his mom and drew into the SEC and stay quiet. Then he showed Nina his hand and used it to his advantage. All keeping the truth from his mom and dad. Everything about this earns Tracy’s stamp of approval.
It’s been two whole years since Carly Corinthos (Laura Spencer) and her family thought Sonny died. They were lead to believe that they’d lost him forever. However, a bitter sweet miracle swept him back in, then strangely out again.
General Hospital recaps highlight the tragic incident that separated a father from his family for two years. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) suffered amnesia after the fall and was used and taken advantage of by his now wife. How? How does someone marry the person who found you and didn’t tell your family that you’re really alive? Apparently, Sonny Corinthos is who.
The question most GH fans want answered is if Sonny is done with Nina. Then, that question is immediately followed up by the burning desire to know if Sonny and Carly get back together.
Cynthia Watros Spills the Tea On Sonny and Nina
Last week brought intense drama to Port Charles as multiple bombshells rocked its people to their core. Previously, GH spoilers tease that Bobbie’s passing and Nina’s betrayal brings Sonny and Carly back together. According to recent General Hospital news reports, GH actress Cynthia Watros reveals Sonny and Nina’s fate.
A recent interview with Soap Opera Disgest gives a look into the future. Reportedly, Cynthia addressed the pressing question about Sonny and Nina. She was asked if they were done and her answer gives little hope to Sonny and Nina fans. “There’s no going back to Sonny right now,” Watros declared to the news outlet. She continued to shed light on the situation with her continued reply. “He’s so angry. I don’t think that she feels like all hope is lost but she doesn’t know quite how to go forward or if there is a path to getting the relationship back. It really is all in Sonny’s hands. I mean, it’s up to him.
Of course, there’s always room for hope, especially in Port Charles. Then, Cynthia explains why there is a glimmer of hope for Nina to keep her man. “They’re both still wearing their wedding rings,” she mentioned. “So there is a glimmer of hope. But what that path is, um… she doesn’t know. She’s just kind of living day by day right now.”
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is no choir boy! He makes it know that he isn’t into people pleasing anymore, and he’s left that life behind bars.
General Hospital recaps highlight the hint that Drew has had enough and ready to take matters into his own hands. He’s no longer going with the flow if it doesn’t benefit himself personally. Instead, he’s ready to call the shots. He told Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that’s he’s no choir boy and he’s a grown man with his own, including a family business and a child.
According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sam and the Quartermaines are challenged when Drew Cain turns dark. Drew has always been kind, reasonable, and supportive. But everyone has their breaking point. He’s always looking out for everyone else and finally realizes that hasn’t gotten him anything but a clear conscience. For a while, being a good person was enough for Drew, so long as those around him were happy. Now, he’s decided it’s his time to shine.
GH rumors speculate that Drew’s new sense of self will adversely impact his relationship with Carly. Especially now that she grieves for her mother. This doesn’t mean that Drew won’t be there for Carly during her time of need, but his new outlook may clash with Carly’s way of life. Right now her focus is on Bobbie’s memorial and reflecting on her life with her mother.
It looks like the new year has already presented challenges for Carly Spencer [Corinthos] (Laura Wright). Last year’s losses seem almost trivial compared to what Carly now faces. Surely, losing your husband is devastating but in reality Sonny came back. He may have left her for his captor, but at least he wasn’t dead. The former Mrs. Corinthos also lost her career last year thanks to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). So now Carly goes through life reinventing herself as Nina walks away with her husband and her hotel.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that more hard times are ahead for Carly. Thankfully, she has Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) by her side as she grieves. GH recaps highlight the devastating phone call that changed Carly’s life forever. That’s when she learned that her mother, Bobbie Spencer had died.
Carly Reacts To Bobbie’s Death
According to the latest General Hospital previews, Carly begins to blame herself. She believes that if she would have done something differently than her mom would still be alive. We all know that’s not true, but Carly is going through the early stages as she processes this tragedy. Meanwhile, Sonny learns that Nina betrayed him by hurting Carly. Maybe Carly will have more than Drew for support.
Uh oh! If she’s not careful, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could find herself in a compromising position. And that is meant in more ways than one.
First, the obvious. It’s no secret that Carly’s new friend is Sonny’s enemy. Although the GH audience knows that Carly on the other hand is in the dark. At this point, she’s already compromised herself. Well, to be fair she’s compromised because of who she is. Even as his ex-wife, Carly is still targeted by Sonny’s enemies. And why is that? I believe it’s because Carly remains the most important person to Sonny and everyone knows it.
Secondly, Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) is coming on strong. He’s a big flirt to say the least, but what about Carly? She smiles, she twirls her hair, and she zeroes in on one customer when there’s an entire restaurant to serve. Despite the fact that she told him that she’s seeing someone, Carly continues to flirt.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Carly cheats on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with none other than Mr. Brennnan, aka Pikeman! Or, at least a representative of Pikeman. Talk about a compromising position. She’s not only in danger because he’s using her. She also ruins her relationship with Drew.
What do you think? Is this how Carly and Drew end?
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) might be feeling a bit of dejavu these days. As Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) flies off to Australia, I can’t help but think about Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). I wonder if Carly feels the same? lol 😆
There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding Carly and Drew’s current storyline. Fans cannot escape the idea that Sonny and Carly are endgame, and I’m right on board with that. That said, how much longer do we have to watch Carly pretend that Drew lives up to the love she had with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Now I’m nit saying that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) isn’t a great guy and a wonderful catch, I’m just saying that I believe that Carly and Sonny are each other’s destiny.
How will Drew and Carly Breakup? Is Cameron Mathison Leaving General Hospital?
As GH spoilers give snippets of what’s to come, Sonny and Carly fans get closer to what their hopes for. It’s seemingly obvious how things could go down with Nina and Sonny because she’s a liar I’m manipulator and a psychopath. However, Drew Kane is none of those things. he is a good man with a good heart and he genuinely loves Carly. That leaves us questioning how Drew and Carly’s fallout will play out.
According to recent GH news, reports confirm that Mathison has signed a multimedia deal with Great American Media. Immediately, the news caused a stir among GH fans as they question Cameron’s General Hospital status.
Recently, he attended ChristmasCon where fans gathered in celebration of Christmas films! But Mathison reveals that the ChristmasCon fans seemed to be focused on one main thing. They wanted to know his GH status as they fear his potential departure from the Soap. Luckily, Cameron cleared the air.
A recent interview with Soaps In Depth reveal that he isn’t going anywhere. “The number one question I’m getting while I’m here [ChristmasCon] is whether I’m leaving GH.” Mathison admitted. The five-time Daytime Emmy nominee didn’t hesitate to set the record straight. “And I don’t know why there’s a rumor out there but I’m definitely not. I’m having the best time ever on GH.”
The people of Port Charles aren’t new to threats, blackmail, exposure, and dropping major bombshells. Furthermore, when was the last time a video or audio recording didn’t result in catastrophic consequences? Exactly. That answer is probably never. So what makes anyone think that this time is different?
According to recent GH news, Cameron Mathison embarks on a new film project. Previously, General Hospital Blog helped spread the news regarding his multi-picture deal with Great American Media.
Immediately, GH rumors began to spread surrounding Drew Cain, and Cameron Mathison’s GH status. The recent news has fans wondering if Cameron [and Drew] is leaving General Hospital.
Scout’s Recording Lands Drew In Hot Water
According to General Hospital spoilers, Scout’s interview could have damning implications for her father. She took her assignment very seriously and fulfilled her requirements from her teacher. Perhaps Drew divulged a little too much during the interview. Or, the recording may have been left running after the fact and could have cause some incriminating information. At this point it’s unclear what was said that could have adverse consequences. But what we do know is that Drew authorized the recorded interview while giving statements regarding Aurora Media. What ever it may be, that recording won’t end up a benign elementary school project.
Cameron Mathison is one of the most recognized names in daytime television. He’s also played roles in multiple Hallmark Channel movies, various television shows, and was also a talk show host. Arguably, his role as Ryan Lavery on ABC’s All My Children set his career into high gear. Prior to landing the role in 1998, Mathison worked as a male model.
Today, Cameron Mathison is General Hospital’s Drew Cain. He joined the now 60 year old daytime drama in April of 2021. Mathison took on the role of the now-late Billy Miller after that actor left the role in 2019.
GH’s Mathison Signs Multi Picture Deal With Great American Media
According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Mathison just added a major film project to his acting career. Reportedly, Christmas To Remember star Cameron Mathison is taking on film projects over the some time. According to the latest GH spoilers and news. Cameron Mathison’s multi picture deal with Great American Media extends to all platforms of the media company. He is said to take part in Great American Family and Great American Faith & Living. Additionally, Mathison’s projects include work on its streaming service, Great American Pure Flix.
We look forward to seeing more of Cameron Mathison in these upcoming projects! GH Blog will keep fans updated on any GH casting changes or news regarding Mathison’s GH status.
There’s no doubt that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has the goods! He is strapped with the proper ammunition to take Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) down for good. Finally, GH spoilers and previews indicate that Michael confronts Nina with what he knows. And now it’s all over for Nina. Or is it?
General Hospital fans are at the edge of their seats as this highly anticipated storyline begins its climax. We are at the height of the story involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his new bride Nina, his ex-wife Carly (Laura Wright) and her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and of course, his son Michael. While other players have a role in this story, these people are mostly affected by Nina’s big secret.
Nina Reeves is now Mrs. Corinthos, and while she basks in the glory of landing Carly’s man, other people suffer from her selfish decisions. Nina doesn’t seem to care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants in the end. To her, the means justify the end so long as she gets her revenge and her fantasy life. And that’s exactly that it is, a fantasy.
Michael Keeps Nina’s Secret
Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos couldn’t bear to wonder anymore. Petty jealously lead Nina to tip off the SEC, sending Drew to Pentonville. Additionally, Carly’s financial troubles and emotional distress have been the result of Nina’s actions. That’s why Michael couldn’t let his mom suffer the fallout from some snitch’s revenge tactics.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Michael drops the bomb on Nina and tells her that he knows that she snitched on Carly and Drew. So, it’ll all over over soon, right? Wrong. While GH previews indicate that Michael finally tells Nina that he knows her secret. but it won’t be the end of this. Instead, Michael makes a decision to protect Willow’s heart. He sees how she and Nina are starting to bond, and he doesn’t want to take that away from her. So, he actually blackmails his new stepmom.
According to the latest General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Michael keeps Nina’s secret for a price. Martin’s warning weighs on Michael’s mind, and his fear of Nina’s wrath keeps him from spilling the tea. Since Michael can’t bear to watch Willow get crushed by Nina yet again, he decides to tell Nina that her secret is safe with him, just as long as she abides by his rules. Basically, Michael has Nina cornered, and she must comply or else she’ll lose everything- including her sanity.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was in shock when she turned and saw Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) standing in the doorway. He’s out of Pentonville and on the loose. Now what?!
According to General Hospital recaps, Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) were catching up and discussing Pentonville when Cyrus showed up at Drew’s hospital room. That’s when he proceeded to enlighten them on how Drew was saved- and who saved him. Of course, Cyrus has to make sure Carly and Drew both knew how he saved Drew’s life. Then, he wished God’s blessings upon them as he walked out.
Meanwhile, Dex, Joss, Dante, and Spinelli were on the hunt for Ava Jerome (Maura West). That’s when Dante came in clutch when he fired shots at Mason (Nathanyael Grey) to save Ava’s life. According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, no good deed goes unpunished. Dante saved Ava’s life and now he’s under investigation for shooting a civilian.
Cyrus puts Dante away
Remember how Drew was unfairly sentenced? How the punishment didn’t fit the crime? Well, GH rumors tease that things could get even worse for Officer Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has to play by the rules even if that means suspending Dante until further investigation into the situation. Own can only hope that all is fair in the Port Charles justice system. But with Cyrus and his affiliations in so many places, that’s hard to say. GH turbos claims that Cyrus puts Dante away with his Pentonville connections, just as he got the book thrown at Drew.
