Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is a good-hearted (potential) killer. I use potential because I can’t recall if Dex has actually killed anyone yet. It would seem that the descriptions good-hearted and killer is an oxymoron. Dex Heller is willing to kill if need be. on the other hand, he’d also put his own life on the line for the ones he love, and those to whom he’s most loyal.

Doesn’t this sound like someone else we know? Dex Heller is loyal to the core. He endures Sonny’s torture and won’t snitch a peep. Sonny wants to know who decks is protecting not physically, but who he’s protecting with his word. The answer is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Who do you know that is loyal to Carly above anyone else? Yes, you got that right. It’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Jason Morgan was loyal to Carly above all else. Most times even Sonny came second to Jason’s BFF unless it was about his business.

Nina isn’t the only one in town who is keeping secrets. But the difference between her lies (and those of omission) and a few other’s is the driving force behind the deception. Clearly, Nina’s motives were strictly vindictive. On the contrary, others in Port Charles use deception in the name of protection. But that still doesn’t excuse the lie. It’s a whole complicated web of actions and intentions, and the Corinthos family is in the thick of it.

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny gets another blow while he’s still processing having been betrayed by his wife. Ninas lies harbored those of others that came before hers. That leads us to Michael’s devious plan to destroy his own father. Dex’s presence in Port Charles only takes place because Michael hired him to take down Sonny. Eventually, Sonny’s disgruntled son came to his senses and called off the job. That’s when Carly and Michael decided to keep Dex on payroll for another reason. Now, he was to protect Sonny. While their intentions may be good natured, GH rumors claim that Sonny won’t care.

It’s inevitable that sooner or later the turn will come out. First, Michael hired Dex to destroy Sonny, then, Carly, Michael, Dex, and Joss conspired to keep another secret from the mob boss. Stone’s big brother never liked Sonny because of his early influence on Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne).

Now that Jagger is back he still displays the same distain for Sonny as he did back then. Aside from Karen, Sonny and Jagger’s past connections include Robin and her first true love, the late Stone. Although new Jagger mentions Stone, he refers to his adult son, not his late brother who died in Robin Scorpio’s Kimberly McCullough) arms.

Often times we tend to associate our favorite character’s lives with the life their portray on television. Sometimes the actor and their GH role are similar, and other times they are total opposite. Evidently, General Hospital star Maurice Benard was swimming in the ocean when a shark approached him. Benard mentioned that he was wearing a Speedo (relevance in question. 😜) That’s when his co-star Evan Hofer (who plays Dex Heller) thought to grab a State of Mind. He said that he took off the shirt and tossed it out to Benard.

Truly, I don’t believe that the excitement has slowed down even in the slightest. Ever since General Hospital’s Stars and Storytelling special episode, all the fans can talk about is Steve Burton’s return. There is no doubt in my mind that Steve’s come back is the most anticipated event in recent GH history. That said there is a lot of potential for Jason Morgan’s new path.

Reportedly, Steve’s comeback was basically announced at the end of the 60th anniversary special. The mysterious teaser was quite impactful for the fans as they’ve waited for this day to come. General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal the possibilities that lie ahead for Jason.

According to GH recaps, Jason is presumed dead after seemingly being crushed in a cave. His partner in crime at the time, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) mourned his death not long before her own unfortunate demise. Although Jason’s return is enough dopamine boost to last a year or three, it’s different for Britt fans. Sadly, it doesn’t look like Dr. Westbourne is coming back, at least at this time. Whether or not Pikeman (Charles Mesure) knew exactly who Carly was, or if he just got lucky, their encounter is the beginning of something big. Sonny just told Pikeman’s employee that he refuses to allow any more shipments until he gets his answer. Things don’t end well after that meeting and now Sonny may have made matters worse. Thankfully, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been on his A-game lately, proving that he is just as valuable as say, Jason Morgan😉.

It’s pretty wild to look back in retrospect and realize how quickly things changed. General Hospital recaps recall hard times for the Corinthos family. Because in Michael’s eyes Sonny betrayed their family when he developed feelings for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

From what it looks like, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could have been an orphan. We know that is wasn’t, but his willingness to put his life on the line leads to certain assumptions. It’s almost like the young man has nothing to lose. Dex joined the military straight out of high school, and he’s estranged from his two brothers. The young army Veteran is seemingly willing to risk his life to work for Michael, and now Sonny.
