Last month, General Hospital news reports confirmed that All My Children and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett joined the cast of General Hospital as Detective Joe Fitzpatrick.

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 18th reveal that Bennett’s first scenes involve an arrest.

Previously on General Hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) punched Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). First, he intruded on Isaiah and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) date, and caused a verbal confrontation. One thing lead to another, and then Curtis straight up punched Isaiah.

According to GH spoilers, Curtis’s unhinged behavior lands him in cuffs. Evidently, Bennett’s first scenes focusing his career with the PCPD. This week on General Hospital, Joe Fitzpatrick arrests Curtis for assaulting Isaiah.

GH fans give a warm welcome to Jonathan, and his role as Detective Fitzpatrick. He has already scored brownie points across the GH fan base. How could he not when GH spoilers revealed that Joe is the one to arrest Curtis and hopefully put us all out of our misery.

Ric is over with moon as he and Liz see what their future holds. It’s like a dream come true for Ric after wooing his way back into Elizabeth’s life. But How long will living on cloud 9 last?! General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Elizabeth breaks Ric’s heart.

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is getting another chance at love with his “precious Elizabeth.” Ava Jerome (Maura West) seemed a little annoyed that Ric couldn’t help but bring up her name yet again. And poor Alexis just braces herself as she expects Ric to mess things up with Elizabeth.

Score a big one for Ric after he gifted Elizabeth that piece of art. She was pleased to say least. Now, Ric feels more secure in their relationship, and can breathe easy for a while. He finally did something 100% right. Sadly, that might not matter at the end of the day.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been sniffing around Elizabeth. So far it’s been quite innocent as he turns to Liz for help with Rocco (Finn Carr). But according to General Hospital rumors, Dante and Elizabeth start to develop an attraction and eventually have feelings for each other.
