But GH fans can’t help but ask how he got his brother Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) so wrong.

General Hospital recaps remind fans that Ryan faked his mental state. Pretending he couldn’t communicate verbally through doctors and his victims for a loop. However, how could a Psychiatrist get things so wrong? Ryan had everyone believing that he was an invalid. A vegetable that was trapped inside himself. But that wasn’t the case at all. That being said, if Dr. Collins overlooked the reality and seriousness of Ryan’s scheme, how could he be trusted with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)?

Shockingly, a year passed and Sonny returned to his family. However, he didn’t necessarily return to his old life.

Luckily, Robert won her over when they bonded as colleagues. Now, Robert has Diane in his corner.

And ignoring Nina’s lack of experience in Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) world is downright reckless.

That being said, no matter how you slice it, Nina and Sonny just don’t mesh well.

According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) point out the obvious. Today, these two former Mob Queens come together with a surprisingly civil discussion. Of course, the topic is none other than Ava’s buddy and Carly’s pesky enemy, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Recent General Hospital previews indicate that Carly wants to know all about her friendship with Nina. She can’t fathom what those two could possibly have in common other than their mutual hate for Carly. To Carly’s surprise, she and Ava agree on something. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and his baby brother Ace (Joey and Jay Clay) were kidnapped as part of Uncle Victor’s grand Cassadine plan. We can’t forget that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is also among Victor’s prisoners. In addition, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is the only one other than Victor who is aboard the ship voluntarily. She snuck onto the boat when she senses that Spencer was in trouble. Evidently, Trina’s instincts were spot on.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Victor keeps dangling “family” in Spencer’s face. He acts as though all of his crazy antics are carried out in the name of “family.” But what exactly does that mean anyways? As far as Spencer is concerned, “family” is important to those who make it important. For example, Spencer believes his father didn’t make the family of great importance. Instead, he feels abandoned and mistreated by Nikolas. Now that Nikolas is missing, Spencer does what it takes to make sure his brother Ace is safe. That being said, Spencer feels like he’s battling Victor alone- with Trina and Liesl’s help, of course.

Maybe Victor is preserving Nikolas for his own benefit. In hope that some day his nephew can see things his way. On the other hand, GH news reports say Constance Towers returns as Helena Cassadine. Could SHE be pulling the strings? No matter which crazy Cassadine, it’s likely Nikolas won’t oblige. If he awakens, he can turn the tables on Victor to save his two sons!

In a recent interview with Soaps In Depth, Charles drops a bombshell of what’s ahead for Victor Cassadine! It’s not secret that the dark and dubious Cassadine is on his way out. As the story tells it, Uncle Victor has gone off the deep end. Will that statement not only ring true figuratively, but literally as well? Who will this villain get his big send off?!

Regarding his run as Victor Cassadine, Shaughnessy tells SID, “Well, I am both honored and humbled! Thank you,” Shaughnessy exclaimed. “I have been so grateful for such a fun, meaty role and the writers at GH are giving Victor one of the greatest villain send-offs I can remember!”
