General Hospital: Daytime Emmy Winner Denise Alexander Dies At 85
GH’s Denise Alexander Lesley Webber Dies At 85. On April 1st, 2024, the longest running television drama celebrated its 62nd year on air. The internationally known Daytime Drama series has brought forth many talented faces to fame. Many of the actors who became household names started on General Hospital in the earlier stages of production. Amazingly, many of our favorite characters from the early days on GH live on through the younger generations.
Denise Alexander was brought on after failed negotiations with her employer at the time, Days Of Our Lives. It just still happens that Gener
According to General Hospital news, Denise Alexander won a Daytime Emmy for her role as Lesly Webber in 1975. As Laura Webber’s mom, and her involvement in a love triangle with Alan and Monica Quartermaine, Denise took Lesley Webber’s popularity to unexpected heights. Despite her popularity, Lesley will killed off in 1984, just to return from the dead in 1996. Reportedly, Denise’s last GH appearance was back in 2021.
Sadly, General Hospital news reports confirm that Denise Alexander has died. Sources state the she died on March 5th, 2025. She was 85 years old. TV daughter, Genie Francis (Laura Webber Spencer Collins) has nothing hit positive things to say about Denise. She told TV Insider. “I loved her. She loved me. I stole her good stuff. When I look at myself sometimes on television… I have been kind of taken aback because I realized I just did Denise… I was so young, she imprinted on me. And some of my style of acting was directly imprinted on me by Denise Alexander. And she was very, very good to me as I was growing up.”
Denise Alexander will be missed. And her memory lives on in her tv family, especially Laura, Lucky, and Lulu Spencer. General Hospital has lost another icon. Rest In Peace Denise Alexander (Lesley Webber).

Check OutEvan Hofer’s New LookJust because he’s gone doesn’t mean we don’t miss him! On December 13th, 2024, General Hospital said goodbye to Dex Heller and his portrayer, Evan Hofer. The writer’s decision to kill off Dex Heller will never make sense to me. He was an obvious fan favorite, and ran Port Charles with the big dawgs.
Dex rubbed shoulders with the likes of the biggest names in the city. Does Corinthos, Morgan, Jacks, or Devane ring a bell? Evan Hofer was brought into the ring and thrown in with the Champs. Dex got close to some prominent families in Port Charles, and it didn’t matter even if it was for all the wrong reasons. Dex was front and center, and Evan Hofer was universally loved by GH fans.
General Hospital News: Evan Hofer Posts New Look
According to the latest GH related news, GH’s Dex Heller posted an update. It’s been almost six months since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) lost the love of her life. Dex died and Evan ended is run on General Hospital. So, what’s up with Evan now? Well, according to his Instagram, Evan looks like he’s living his best life. He recently posted an Instagram story sporting an entirely new aesthetic. This birthday boy looks good flexing any style from mob enforcer to officer of the law, and whatever else in between.
Take a look at General Hospital’s Dex Heller (Hofer) and his brand new look.

General Hospital: Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and Emma (Braedyn Bruner)
Josslyn Tells Emma About Dalton! Josslyn Jacks’s (Eden McCoy) life suddenly took a drastic turn when she accepted Agent Brennan’s offer. It wasn’t an offer she couldn’t refuse by any means- and she had to think it over. Then, after careful consideration, Josslyn decided to move forward with her life-altering new path. And just like that, Josslyn Jacks became an official Agent of the WSB. She’s sworn to secrecy, and not even her mother can know the truth.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) made the terms of the contract crystal clear, informing Joss that she isn’t to tell anyone- not even Carly. Unfortunately, with Joss and Jack both keeping this secret, Carly’s hit with double betrayal. There’s no doubt that Brennan and Josslyn’s secret is going to be a tough one to keep; particularly from Carly. However, General Hospital rumors suggest that Carly won’t be Josslyn’s biggest challenge.
Out Of Options- Josslyn Tells Emma About Dalton
Joss has her work cut out for her regarding her latest mission. Right now, she navigates through her new assignment as an undercover PCU student. The goal is to plant herself close he subject to investigate Professor Dalton. There’s just one thing in the way- Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
According to General Hospital spoilers, Josslyn and Emma’s animosity toward one another softens and friendship continues to grow. That’s why it becomes more difficult for Josslyn to keep lying to Emma. GH rumors tease that Dalton also poses a problem for these new friends. Both Joss and Emma will do whatever it takes to land that Summer spot with Professor Dalton. But what type of position are they gunning for anyway? 😲🫢
Josslyn and Emma compete for the Summer position alongside Professor Dalton, but will they compete for his attention in more areas than one? Joss suddenly has the upper hand now that she’s already stolen Emma’s thumb drive. General Hospital previews indicate that Emma turns to Josslyn for help. She returns from her swim to find that her thumb drive is missing, and the eager PCU student wants answers that Joss isn’t prepared to dodge.
General Hospital: Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at The Savoy
For how long can Joss keep lying to Emma before Emma figures things out on her own? Will she news just one person to consider in? And why not the person she’d otherwise have to lie to in sticky situations? Will Josslyn blow her cover and admit to Emma that she’s an intelligence Agent for the WSB?
The End Of An Era- Will Sonny and Jason Leave The Business?!
Will Sonny and Jason leave the business?! As much as I hate to say it out loud, I believe we are facing the end of an era. Before everyone gets mad at me, I did not say that I think that Sonny is leaving the show, and that Maurice has plans to retire. Obviously the word around hasn’t spread yet, but Jason and I’ve definitely discussed the option to any of the business.
Previously, General Hospital Blog shared reports and rumors of an upcoming shift in Port Charles. The word out on the street is that each day forward brings many of the residents of Port Charles closer to the next chapter in lives. Mainly, anyone close to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will soon face a new normal.
Were you surprised to see WSB Agent Jack Brennan come to Sonny’s aid? And it wasn’t like Brennan stopped by Sonny’s hospital room over at GH. No, the man flew across the country to help Brick clean up his mess. Then Brennan stood watch over Sonny. Is this the beginning of a beautiful friendship?
According to a General Hospital rumors, Sonny and Jason leave the business. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been Sonny’s day one, right-hand man, his best friend, and brother. These two have been to Hell and back but always come out proving to be more loyal to each other than before. No matter what they go through, the other is right by their side. That’s why Sonny and Jason take this next step together.
General Hospital: Brennan, Sonny, and Jason Play Nice
Willow Walks In On Drew!!? So soon? Is it possible that we already see the light at the end of the tunnel? Or shall we say, at the end of Drew and Willow’s controversial relationship? If I had to guess based on storyline tendencies, I would say, “Baby, it ain’t over till it’s over.” -Lenny Kravitz.
General Hospital spoilers reveal a highly anticipated act from none other than Congressman Cut-throat-Cain. Apparently, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has the night of his life- or maybe not, but either wait it’s a night he’ll never forget… or will he? GH spoilers and rumors tease that Drew’s drunken stupor leads him in some boiling hot water.
Willow Walks In On Drew?!
Don’t miss General Hospital as Drew runs into trouble in his professional and personal life. He makes a spectacle of himself as a politician, but what will Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) make of her precious Drew?!
If Willow walks in on Drew and his female companion, will she finally wake up and leave him? That’s what Nina hopes to happen as this is her plot to get her daughter away from that skeeze, Drew Cain.
Who are Kai Taylor’s parents on GH?! Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is about to have life altering surgery. From the moment he was hurt mid-game is the moment I asked myself where in the world are these kids parents? Their college football playing son was injured during a televised football game hospitalized, almost paralyzed yet his parents are nowhere to be found.
General Hospital Recaps
Drew Cain made Kai an offer he couldn’t refuse. Coulda cutting edge surgery give Kai the chance to play football again? It’s a big decision, especially for a young adult with so much life ahead of him. So at one point he was asked if he would talk to his parents before deciding whether or not to taken Drew’s offer. And that is the first time he ever mentioned his parents. The next and only other time (from what I remember) was just the other day when Trina asked about them. Kai told her that his parents were supportive. He added that they were of the country and couldn’t make it back in time. Kai’s surgery is scheduled for next week.
GH Spoilers- Coming Up On General Hospital
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that there’s definitely something suspicious going on with Kai’s parents. Why is he so elusive about them and his home life? Kai doesn’t peep a word about his mom and dad other than when asked. Even then, his responses are quick and lack detail.
Who are Kai Taylor’s parents on GH?!
GH fans have so many questions when it comes to football star Kai Taylor. Such as, who and where are his parents? Yeah, yeah, he says they are “out of the country,” but I don’t buy it. Do you?
General Hospital: Drew (Cameron Mathison), Jason (Steve Burton), and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)
These two are thick as thieves. From uncle-in-law to live-in boyfriend and father figure to her kids, Willow is in over her head with Drew. Despite the puppy dog trance hold Drew has over Willow, it’s obvious that she’s conflicted. At times she feels empowered to stand up against Carly, to show her that she makes her own decisions. Behind her eyes it looks like Willow reflects on her life with Michael. Maybe that’s why Drew gets so bothered by what she’s about to tell him.
General Hospital Recaps
Jason told Willow that she needs to go to Germany and face Michael. She was reluctant at first but soon realized that it’s what needs to happen. First; she went to Jason to ask him to stock Carly from going after her children. But Jason wasn’t going to deliver just because Willow asked. I mean, she ISNT’T Carly. Jason only comes with Carly calls him. I’m totally joking but the way (half 🤭). After being denied, Willow was shocked to hear Jason suggest she head to Germany. Ultimately, she saw Jason’s point and is planning her trip.
Willow Tells Drew About Germany
On the next General Hospital… Will things get weird between Willow and Drew? Of course, Willow must tell Drew about her plans to go see Michael. According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Drew doesn’t take too well to the news. Willow’s news makes him uneasy in more ways than one. First, the thought of Willow going to see her husband threatens the Congressman. His insecurities shine through when he hears Willow is going to Germany. But where did she get that idea? Hmm 🤔. Yep, none other than Jason Morgan. Now talk about Drew’s insecurities! There’s no doubt that Congressman cut-throat’s ego is bruised when he finds out that Jason is the one who told Willow to go see Michael in Germany.
General Hospital: Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner)
Emma Uncovers Josslyn’s Secret! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) have known bother for practically their entire lives. They know all the same people in Port Charles and have entanglements with mutual friends or extended family.
General Hospital Recaps
Despite both young ladies having ties to some of the same social circles, Joss and Emma recently pointed out their obvious differences. Mainly, Emma mentioned Josslyn’s financial status and the benefits of having a super rich father. While true, Jasper (Jax) Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) isn’t the reason for how Josslyn got into Professor Dalton’s class.
General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors
According to General Hospital spoilers, a few details hint toward Emma’s shocking involvement in the WSB. First, arrived in Port Charles literally as a different person. Not only was the role recast, but the character exhibited a completely different personality. A once sweet and soft spoken Emma was now a very vocal, snotty, yet passionate young woman. It turns out that Emma has been in trouble with the law, unbeknownst to her parents, Drs. Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Robin Drake (Kimberly McCullough). Now that she’s living in Port Charles, her grandma Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is putting all the pieces together.
Secondly, ADA Justina Turner has a weird fixation on Anna and Emma. The entire story about Emma and freeing the animals gives off a suspicious vibe. Furthermore, it is a coincidence that both Josslyn and Emma initially wanted to become doctors? Now they are both on completely different paths.
Emma Uncovers Josslyn’s Secret
According to General Hospital rumors, fans speculate that Emma is already a WSB Agent. She compared her some to Anna, making it known that they both fight for what’s right and will do whatever it takes for justice to be served. It’s also possible that Emma figures out exactly how Jocelyn got into professor Dalton’s class. Just WSB agent cover is blown and Emma wants in.
Was Emma foreshadowing a future as a WSB agent, or has she already signed on the dotted line?
Carly Betrays An Ally! Who?! Unlikely alliances have been formed during the most dire circumstances. You know what they say, desperate times call for desperate measures. Maybe that’s why Carly and Nina decided to team up against Drew. When it comes to alliances, what Nina and Carly are aren’t exactly Sonny and Jason solid if you know what I mean.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Carly betrays an alliance. Could it be that Carly undermines her newfound alliance with her rival Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)? Maybe not. She and WSB Agent Jack Brennan have gotten close in the last few months. In fact, Brennan has proven over and over again that he has Carly’s back. Jason will always have Carly’s best interest, and when it comes down to it, she can ultimately count on Sonny.
Carly doesn’t have as many enemies as she did back in the day, but she still isn’t everyone’s favorite person. That said, Carly should be careful to be true to her real allies. It’s not like she can afford to lose the support she does have, so hopefully she betrays an ally who has endless forgiveness toward her- like Jason.
Will she go against Jack if the situation is dire enough? It’s doubtful that she’d betray Sonny at all let alone as he prepared for open heart surgery. Who else is one of Carly’s allies? And why would she betray them?
General Hospital: Besties Kristen Storms and Emme Rylan
Kristen Storms and Emme Rylan’s Easter Adventure! General Hospital’s 62 years in existence has been the birthplace of many lasting friendships and bonds between co-stars. In fact, long lasting romantic relationships and marriages have come out of the set of General Hospital. Some who might be enemies in Port Charles could be besties off-screen. For example, Carly Spencer and Nina Reeves can’t stand each other. They have a toxic co-existence and despise the air the other breathes. However, things are much different between actresses who play Carly and Nina. The dynamic between Laura Wright and Cynthia Watros is nothing like that of the roles they play in Port Charles. Reportedly, Laura and Nina are very good friends when not playing around in Port Charles. Is anyone up for a game of pickle ball??
GH: General Hospital cast-mates play Pickleball
A couple of my favorite GH besties are Kirsten Storms and Emme Rylan. In Port Charles Maxie and Lulu are the best of friends, and their friendship overflows outside of the GH set. These two don’t have to play pretend in Port Charles because they’re actually BFFs in real life. Rylan joined GH’s cast in 2013 when she took over the role from Julie Marie Berman. According to General Hospital news, Storms has reportedly admitted that she “was determined to hate” Lulu’s recast because of her friendship with Berman. Obviously that didn’t happen, and Kirsten and Emme became best friends instead.
Fast forward to 2025 and it’s been almost 5 years since Rylan and Storms worked together on General Hospital. Furthermore, the role of Lulu has even been recast, and Alexa Havins has stepped into Lulu’s shoes. Evidently, time and distance bears no weight on this bond because Storms and Rylan’s friendship is still going strong.
General Hospital news and spoilers report that these two girlies are still up to their silly antics that only best friends do. Over the weekend GH’s Kristen Storms shared IG stories of herself and Rylan. The two “cool moms” were on their way back from Target at 11pm on Easter Eve. Storms expressed a strong sense of irritation to none other than the Easter Bunny. Then, the two ladies proceeded to act out a fake phone call between a disgruntled customer and an employee.
There’s no doubt that Emme Rylan and Kirsten Storms’ friendship is an everlasting bond. If you want to have a good laugh then check out the video below. Rylan and Storms ham it up in their late night Target adventure- beefing with the bunny.
