General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Has His Sights Set On Trina

Nicholas Alexander Chavez made his debut as the new and SORASed Spencer Cassadine last week. General Hospital news reports confirmed Nicolas Bechtel has been replaced. Nicholas Bechtel’s exit from the daytime drama caused some drama among fans. Bechtel was adored for his spunky personality and his adorable little boy looks. However, the story line moves fast and that means many times the young ones grow up faster.

Spencer made quite an entrance and a lasting impression on Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer has his sights set on Trina. In the most recent General Hospital previews, Trina and Spencer are spending some time alone together, getting to know each other, while she tells him all about her friends, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer is Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker, trying to break them up, and it’s working. His plan to destroy his father’s marriage to Ava won’t sit well with Trina if and when she finds out. Right now, Spencer is laying low from his family and those who know him. Spencer bailed on Trina when she started talking about Cam and Joss, trying to keep his presence in PC on the down low. Even his grandmother Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) is unaware that Spencer is currently in Port Charles.

General Hospital rumors suggest Spencer will work his way closer to Trina and into her group of friends, making the group of three, a foursome once again. The dynamic seems to work now that Josslyn and Cam have declared their feelings for each other, while it seems like Spencer and Trina might eventually become the newest couple among the teens.

General Hospital News: GH Debuts Sneak Peek Of Poolside Set At The Metrocourt

The Quartermaine mansion, The Corinthos family home, Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) apartment, The Savoy, Kelly’s, and General Hospital itself are just a few of the main sets we as GH fans see, and that have become staples around Port Charles.

Every now and then, General Hospital will redecorate a set or two, or introduce an entirely new set.

According to TV Insider, General Hospital news and spoilers reveal, Executive Producer, Frank Valentini has made an announcement regarding the latest set change on General Hospital.
“GH is very excited to announce the opening of The Metro Court Pool and Spa — the place to see and be seen this summer for all the heat and drama.”

Under the direction of Frank Valentini, set designers Jennifer Elliot and Andrew Evashchen were to make the poolside set as realistic as possible. Valentini wanted the actors to be able to actually get into the pool, which required the design of the pool to be made deeper than normal for a TV set. Evashchen told TV Insider, “It’s about three feet deep,” this allows for the set to look more believable which was Valentini’s main goal.

Evashchen disclosed some intricate details to building the set, “We lined [the water tanks] with a certain material that’s like a bed liner for trucks. It works really well for pools. It’s durable and watertight. We chose a specific blue that Frank really liked and had the pool sprayed and sealed in that color.”

GH’s Eden McCoy had great things to say about the new set, as she has filmed some scenes poolside, along with co-star William Lipton. Josslyn and Cam will be spending time there in this Summer heat. McCoy told TV Insider, “It’s so much fun to work in this set, “I haven’t gone fully into the pool yet, but they keep it warm for us. It feels different taping in this set, very relaxed. Shawn Reeves (Wardrobe) has been styling us with these cute bathing suits and new wardrobe. McCoy also disclosed that this set will be around for quite a while since they have already begun filming episodes that will air in September, and the set is still being used.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) have created an iconic love story that has captured the hearts of their fans for two decades. They fell in love and their journey as legendary lovers became a household name. JaSam will forever be treasured in our hearts.

Although Aam was the one to ultimately end their relationship, reality has finally set in after overhearing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) reveal Jason is about to marry Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Little does he know, he’s falling for someone from his past life, and he’s being lied to and betrayed, all while his family grieves his loss, and unfortunately, moves on with their lives in a major way.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: GH Creates Special Episode Honoring The Late Stuart Damon

At last month’s end, General Hospital news reports announced the devastating news regarding the passing of General Hospital icon, Stuart Damon. His past co-stars and life long friends shared their condolences to his family with a heavy heart, while expressing their fondness and admiration for such a kind, talented, and legendary man.

General Hospital spoilers reveal GH will create a special tribute episode that will air in honor of Stuart, and is iconic role on General Hospital as Alan Quartermaine.

General Hospital news reports reveal a very telling statement by on-screen wife, Leslie Charleson, who played beside Damn for decades as Monica Quartermaine. At the time of learning of her co-star’s passing, Charles stated, “This is the 30th anniversary for the two of us, in August. The timing leaves me very discouraged about the way soaps are going, the total disregard for history and the blatant disregard for the veterans.” When Damon was fired in 2007 by Jill Farren Phelps, at the order of Brian Frons and Anne Sweeney, Charleson, among many other leading co-stars, spoke out against the decision to just throw away a veteran character.

Although killed off the show in 2007, Damon made appearances heee and there as a ghost and hallucinations, and his last appearance was during GH’s 50th anniversary in 2013.

General Hospital news and spoilers have yet to reveal any details on when this tribute episode will air or what the premise will be other than the obvious. Like the tribute episode for John Reilly and is role as Sean Donnelly, this episode’s main focus will be on the life of Alan Quartermaine. The son of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and the late, Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis), has been SORASed (Soap Opera Rapid Age Sydrome), and the role has been turned over to an older actor.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Nicolas Bechtel is OUT at GH, after playing Spencer since 2013. The young actor has has been replaced by Nicholas Alexander Chavez after TPTB decided to go forward with the character’s rapid age progression.

In a recent Instagram post, Bechtel bid farewell to his role as Spencer Cassadine and to his General Hospital family. In his post, Nicolas shares the highlights of his character’s run, and thanks his fans for their love and support.
