The bond was real and it was obvious that he loved his little brother very much. In fact, regardless of how the littlest Cassadine came into this world, Spencer knew he had to do right by Ace. That’s when Spencer realized Esme and Ace were a packaged deal. So, Spencer and his ex became civil for the sake of his little brother. For the most part, they even began to trust each other. That is, until Spencer betrayed Esme’s trust.
