General Hospital News And Spoilers: ESPN and GH’s Stephen A. Smith Suffers Near Death Experience

In the last two years, the world as we know it has changed so much. One aspect being the way we take care of ourselves. Every since the pandemic, the world is taking more precautions to stay healthy.

General Hospital news reports reveal Stephen A. Smith thought he was taking extra precautions, caring for himself by receiving the Covid vaccine.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Stephen later came down with Covid after having been vaccinated. Smith credits the vaccine for keeping him alive. His symptoms were severe enough to land himself in the hospital. Stephen spend New Years battling Covid. He described his experience by stating, “I had 103 degree fever every night. Woke up with chills and a pool of sweat. Headaches were massive. Coughing profusely. And it got to a point where right before New Year’s Eve, I was in the hospital into New Year’s Day. That’s how I brought in the New Year.” he also added, “Had I not been vaccinated, I wouldn’t be here.”

Thankfully he is now negative and has resumed his regular activities which includes the set of General Hospital, working alongside Maurice Benard and Laura Wright (Sonny and Carly)

ESPN’s Stephen A Smith Gets a Visit From a GH Star

General Hospital has an admirer. ESPN sports reporter and First Take Host, Stephen A. Smith is a long time General Hospital fan.

Stephen received an enormous surprise this morning when the iconic General Hospital star  Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) graced him with his presence on the set of the morning show First Take on ESPN.

Smith expressed his excitement of this morning’s event in a tweet. “I’m in HEAVEN. Haa” he tweeted.

Benard also sent out a tweet right before stepping onto the set and also some picture from the morning.
