Hey @GeneralHospital fans: BIG casting news coming later this afternoon…stay tuned! #GH
Twitter is always good for General Hospital spoilers, rumors, fan polls, and casting news. We found out it is also a good source for behind the scenes news as well.
General Hospital Blog can confirm that former, The Young and the Restless writer, Jean Passanante, whom also used to write for General Hospital, is no longer with Y&R, and is headed back to writing for GH!
Fans of the current Writing/Producing Duo, “Cartini” or, separately, Ron Carlivati, and Frank Valentini are rest assured that those two are not going anywhere. Jean Passanante made her twitter announcement which including her expression of excitement for working with Carlivati and Valentini.
We are excited to see what Jean brings to residents of Port Charles in the future!
Heading back to Port Charles! I hear there's one nutty hospital there. @carlivatiron
There will be many shockers coming up this Spring including huge character reveals and cast exits. There have been GH rumors circulating regarding the exit of a long time fan favorite. It has been said that Ian Buchanan (Duke Lavery) is making his way out of Port Charles and General Hospital for good.
A Shocking General Hospital spoilers was revealed when TV Guide’s Michael Logan tweeted his opinion on this GH casting news. He feels is it a poor decision to let Buchanan go. ABC has no comment on this topic.
It has been rumored that Duke Lavery will be killed off GH in a shocking plot twist.
Check out the tweet below!
SO WRONG I'm hearing Ian Buchanan out at #GH in dire plot twist. ABC PR says "No comment." Fantastic actor. Legacy character. Poor decision.
Today General Hospital fans were able to watch a Live Stream chat with two of PC’s most intriguing men. Actors Billy Miller (Jason Morgan) and Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake) took the time to interact with fans via social media. In a relaxed Question/Answer setting, fans were able to get to know the real Jason and Billy and their thoughts on certain topics regarding General Hospital.
As a huge and loyal JaSam fan, I decided to ask Billy Miller if he felt Jason was ready to reunite with Sam. His response was nothing as was expected, due to the legendary lover status Jason and Sam have always had. JaSam to this day has a huge fan following, and now that Jason is back from the dead, it’s absolutely expected that the two will once again be in love and have the family with Danny they always wanted. However, Billy Miller has different plans. In their response, Jason Thompson (Patrick) reminded Billy that JaSam was the couple name for Jason and Sam. Billy then told the fans that he is unsure about Jason reuniting with Sam, as there are many women on the show. Miller says, “You never know, there’s so many women on the show.”
Definitely NOT the response a die hard JaSam fan was waiting to hear… but we shall see where the writers take this story, and if they will fall into the direction of a happily ever after for Jason and Sam.
This may bring hope to Samtrick fans. If Jason and Sam can’t seem to make it work, Sam will always have Patrick to lean on. Their friendship is unbreakable and their new found romance is extremely hot.
GH fans engaged in the live chat were surprised by an unexpected guest! Check out who added to the charismatic chat.
As the mystery of Fluke is unraveling, the story is finally coming to a close. For over a year, the executive team at General Hospital has had fans pulling their hair out, trying to figure out who has stolen the identity and life of the legendary Luke Spencer. Every theory from mask, to mind control, and everywhere in between has been rumored. Top theories of past characters having plastic surgery include, Luke’s cousin, Bill Eckert, Bill’s son Sly, Anthony Zacchara, and many more. GH fans everywhere just can’t seem to put their finger on the truth.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Head Writer, Ron Carlivati has made a statement regarding Fluke’s true identity. This morning via Twitter, Carlivati proclaims that the revelation fans have been waiting for will happen on today’s episode of General Hospital. Check out Ron Carlivati’s tweet!
Will Dante come to in time to rescue Luke? Is everyone on the Haunted Star doomed? Who is Fluke? Find out today on @GeneralHospital! #GH
General Hospital actresses, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), Maura West (Ava Jerome), and Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay), spill all to TV Guide Magazine!
In a tell all interview with TV Guide these powerful women Daytime Drama discuss everything from women in the workforce, to, sex on the set, social media, and family.
Daytime Emmy award winner, Jane Elliot is a long time ABC soap actress, and started on General Hospital as Tracy Quartermaine in 1978. Elliot hasn’t been shy about discussing the treatment of women in the workforce, particularly her own situation when she first started with ABC. Things have since changed over at the network and she explains, “Over the years, we have had several women running ABC Daytime and executive producing GH, and they were quite male-eccentric. They were very busy sucking up to the guys on the show and would dismiss the rest of us.” It remains cryptic as to whom exactly Jane was referring.
On the topic of social media, the women didn’t hesitate to express their complete disliking of cyber bullying. Some think that cyber bullying only refers to high school teens or “mean girls” but in actuality it happens in many other scenarios as well. Celebrities receive an enormous amount of hate via social media. Especially Twitter. So called “fans” can actually be pretty brutal. It was reveled that one of the actresses has been called a “fat cow” on social media.
Also regarding social media, actress Maura West brought up the importance of family time. She has five children at home and explained that before she walks in from work, she turns her phone off so that she can devote her attention to her family.
Nancy Lee Grahn is never scared to tell it like it is, to get down and dirty and outright raunchy. Grahn revealed that she has had sex on the set of Santa Barbara as well as the set of General Hospital.
For the full interview and more fun with the ladies of General Hospital, please check out the full interview in TV Guide.

Jason’s friends and family have believed that he has been dead for almost two years time. Long time friend, Robin Scorpio Drake is the only one (other than the creepy Cassadines and villains involved) who knows Jason is alive.

This allows fans to ask questions to their favorite stars, and in turn those stars show their appreciation of fan’s support by taking time out to talk with them online.
Fans have been rallying for the new Jason Morgan to join twitter so that he can engage in conversation with his supporting fans. Billy Miller has made it clear that he will not be joining the social media site, Twitter.
To each their own, and social media is not for everyone. Do you support Billy and his decision to keep his distance from the social media craze?

Last week we got to see Milo Giambetti catch up with old boss, Sonny Corinthos. He confided in him about his complicated love life. He told Sonny that the person he has his sights set on is someone his father may not approve of. Later, he went to his pal Felix and disclosed that he has feelings for none other than, Head Nurse, Epiphany Johnson. Now that Milo is back, big brother Max Giambetti will be showing up shortly as well. Derk Cheetwood will be returning to General Hospital this week!
