Three words, two names, and one wedding marks the most iconic television wedding in history. Their romance began in 1979, and Luke and Laura quickly becamethe most recognizable General Hospital Super Couple. Luke and Laura’s wedding took place on November 17, 1981 and remains the most-watched TV-wedding event to this date.
Over the years different couples have drawn in large and devoted fandoms. While coming close, still they have yet to blow out the torch that GH fans hold for Luke and Laura. Frisco and Felicia, Robert and Holly, Duke and Anna, Sonny and Carly, Jason and Sam, Elizabeth and Lucky, Spinelli and Maxie, and so many more carried us through the 1980s into the early 2000s. Recently, it seems the General Hospital Super Couple Era has died.
Last month, General Hospital welcomed back the beloved actress, Kelly Thiebaud who plays Dr. Britt Westbourne. According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Thiebaud appeared on Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson’s podcast, Stone Cold and The Jackal. During the interview, they discussed the upcoming and highly anticipated romance between Jason Morgan and Dr. Britt Westbourne. Kelly reveals that this time around Britt and Jason‘s romance means something more to her on a personal level. She can relate to the audience because the excitement and anticipation for Jason and Britt is greater since the storyline was robbed the first time around.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Steve Burton confessed to aiding in Kelly Thiebaud’s GH return. He believes that Jason and Britt had something- and reflected on super couples and how the show needs to revive that trend. Will it start with Jason and Britt?
General Hospital: Lulu listens in on Brook Lynn and Lucas discussing Maxie
Family and friends of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are beside themselves after she collapsed on the air while filming Deception’s segment on Home and Heart. The incident has perplexed them all, especially since Maxie is currently in top tier health. Sure, she had a heart transplant when she was 6 years old, but that’s highly unlikely to be a factor here.
Coming up on General Hospital, it becomes more apparent that Maxie was poisoned. Right now, signs point to Sidwell. After all, he is the main villain in the story, isn’t he? He knows that Maxie’s father is Mac Scorpio (John J. York), the Port Charles police commissioner. And he damn sure doesn’t want her opening her mouth about the dirty money that ran through Deception.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Maxie’s condition remains a mystery, and those close to her do some digging to get to the bottom of what really happened. Lulu was looking quite interested in Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) conversation with Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). She can be seen creeping in the background , with her side eye peering right at her enemy, BLQ. From the look of it, Lulu suspects Brook Lynn is up to something- or is hiding something.
Is Lulu looking for something, anything, to pin on Brook Lynn? Maxie is Lulu’s life long bestie- but Brook Lynn has infiltrated her way into Maxie’s life and they’ve become best friends too. And Lulu’s disdain for Brook Lynn runs deep. She thinks Brook Lynn is looking suspicious, so is she onto something, or is she letting her hatred for BLQ cloud her judgement?
The look on Brook Lynn’s face when talking to Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) screams of fear, worry, guilt, and remorse. Most of Maxie’s loved ones have the fear and worry written all over their faces, but guilt and remorse isn’t noticeable. I wonder if that’s because no one else at that hospital has reason to feel guilt and remorse over Maxie’s condition? So, who poisoned Maxie with Deception’s youth cream? Was it Brook Lynn who went to extreme measures to keep Maxie from going to the PCPD?
Did Sidwell Poison Maxie? Or Was It So Much Worse Than That?
General Hospital Recaps: Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) fights for her life after a freak incident on air, on the set of Home and Heart. General Hospital recaps recall that Maxie was on the air promoting Deception’s youth cream when she began to feel faint and then collapsed. She currently stands alone in her opinion about whether or not the ladies of Deception should go to the PCPD with information on Sonny’s dirty money. Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) influence over Lucy (Lynn Herring), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has Maxie as the rogue ranger in this situation.
Sidwell was a little too excited by James’ over sharing. It was like he took mental notes on Maxie with each word her son divulged. Coming up on General Hospital, the GH staff and Maxie’s loved ones curiously ponder how Maxie’s heart could stop suddenly when she’s in perfect health.
At this point it seems the GH rumors are true, and Maxie was poisoned. Apparently, suspicions point to Deception’s youth cream as the culprit. Evidently, there was something quite different about this one since Maxie has used this product before, without any issues.
General Hospital spoilers tease that someone tampered with the product, causing Maxie’s near death experience. While many GH fans believe that Sidwell poisoned Maxie to keep her from going to the pcpd, new GH rumors speculate otherwise.
Did Brook Lynn Poison Maxie To Keep Her Quiet?
General Hospital: Lulu Suspects Maxie
Brook Lynn longs for a connection, and to fix her relationship with her son, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). That means she can’t be involved in helping put his grandpa, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), in jail. She’s desperate to build a bond with her son, and when I say desperate, I mean desperate. But would she risk Maxie’s life to avoid more wrath from Gio? Maybe. But definitely not if she knew the potentially life threatening risk.
Everyone is so quick to condemn Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) for every single thing she does- as if she isn’t the first person who ever cheated on someone, made a poor judgement call, or slapped someone. Furthermore, the self righteous have all made selfish and poor decisions in their lives.
General Hospital Recaps
Despite the June verdict, the Corinthos custody battle continues to plague Michael, Willow, and their respective families. The next hearing is set to take place in October- that is if nothing changes. Currently, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and his enabling mama bear Carly (Laura Wright) sit atop their pedestal. At this point what they should do is ride off into the sunset on their high horses. Once Michael and Carly get wind of Willow’s workplace wrangle, they won’t hesitate to rake her under the coals.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is on a mission to destroy Michael and Sonny, so the tables could easily take a turn. However, Michael’s mishap with Drew won’t be kept under wraps. Drew baited Michael into a punch and used Wiley to trigger him. Michael played right into his hands and now it may cost him.
The Truth EXPOSED, And Tables Turn
Shortly after the judge announced her verdict, it was revealed that the decision was bought and paid for by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Evidently, his plan to make Sonny weak, vulnerable, and incriminated, involves Michael and Willow’s custody battle.
There’s so much gray area in this situation. The self righteous and diluted hypocrites can’t take a second to self reflect. The truth is they have all made choices like Willow has and much worse. What happens when all parties do some digging and the truth behind the verdict is exposed? Michael and Carly believe they are so superior over Willow because the judge sided with Michael. Little do they know- they didn’t win fair and square.
General Hospital: General Hospital Icon Tristan Rogers Dies At 79
It is with a heavy heart that we share the recent news of General Hospital legend, Tristan Roger’s passing.
Sadly, General Hospital news reports confirm that Tristan Rogers Cancer diagnosis was announced on July 17, 2025. Less than a month after the devastating announcement, the beloved actor has died. He was 79.
Reportedly, Rogers’s trusted and longtime manager, Meryl Soodak, confirmed Tristan‘s passing. Sources reveal that the General Hospital fan-favorite battled lung cancer as a non-smoker.
Tristan Rogers last appearance on General Hospital was on July 18, 2025, just one day after his diagnosis was announced. Recently, his character Robert Scorpio learned that he had a daughter with his great love, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) came into his life just a short time ago bringing light, love, and a Daisy. On July 18, Tristan got to play the role of dad and grandpa when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) brought Sasha and Daisy to his door.
What a bittersweet time as Robert was able to enjoy Sasha and Daisy. But sadly, Tristan‘s time has been cut short. General Hospital Blog will keep Tristan and his family and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers as we all reflect on his talent, and the iconic entertainment that he has brought forth over the course of 14,000 episodes of General Hospital.
Last month, General Hospital star Kirsten Storms confirmed her exit from the daytime drama. The long time fan favorite is moving to Tennessee and took time off for the big move. Reportedly, Storms assured fans that she WILL return to General Hospital as Maxie Jones.
Additionally, Storms teases about what’s coming up on General Hospital as Maxie heads off the canvas. She says that fans are going to “freak out” as Maxie’s storyline unfolds. Evidently, the writers used this opportunity to create something big surrounding Maxie Jones.
General Hospital recaps recall that Mr. Sidwell got an ear full when James reminded him exactly who Maxie’s father is. As the PCPD’s Chief of Detectives, Mac Scorpio is a direct link for Maxie to come forward.
GH’s Cody (Josh Kelly), James (Gary James Fuller), and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) at the MetroCourt Pool
Sidwell is well aware of Maxie’s stance on the whole Deception, dirty-money scandal, and he isn’t too happy about it. So now that’s two strikes against Maxie in Sidwell’s eyes. She’s become an even bigger threat to his nefarious plans after being reminded that Mac is her dad.
Moreover, Tracy fears that Maxie will go rogue, and go to the PCPD about the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) financial findings. If Sidwell catches wind of it, will he do whatever he deems necessary to stop Maxie?
General Hospital: Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Marie Jones (Kirsten Storms) Attend Deception Meeting
It sounds like Maxie could find herself bumped out of Sidwell’s good graces. Unfortunately, being the mysterious mobster’s enemy is quite dangerous. Just ask Sonny Corinthos. GH rumors speculate that Sidwell kidnaps Maxie and James to prevent her from going to the police. Other rumors suggest that either Maxie or James gets kidnapped as opposed to both.
How will Maxie be written out? If James is kidnapped, Maxie could set out on a quest to find him. Or, Maxie herself is kidnapped and kept from going to Mac and the PCPD with information.
Whatever the story, GH fans anticipate the “freak out” that Kirsten promises.
General Hospital: Sofia Mattsson’s GH Exit- When Will Sasha Return to Port Charles?
The lights in Port Charles shine a little less bright since Sasha left with baby Daisy. On July 18th, GH’s Sofia Mattson, and Executive Producer Frank Valentini confirmed the actress’s exit as Sasha Gilmore Corbin.
According to General Hospital news, Sofia Mattsson returned to her hometown shortly before her GH exit was announced. Reportedly, Mattsson shared a photo of herself back home in Stockholm, Sweden on July 12. That was just 6 days prior to confirming her departure after 7 years of playing Sasha. Thankfully, Frank Valentini made mention that Mattsson is open to reprise her role as Sasha down the road.
Will Sasha and Daisy ever return to Port Charles? Right now Sasha remains in the dark about the disturbing events that happened with baby Daisy. Mistakenly, it’s believed that Sonny’s world was targeting his son Michael Corinthos’s newborn baby as a warning. However, there has been a new revelation since Jason brought Sasha and Daisy to her father, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
The latest General Hospital recaps recall that Michael realized that the person messing with Daisy was Willow! Apparently, Michael finds Willow more dangerous than if the Five Families mobsters used his baby to threaten Sonny. Meanwhile, Sasha and Daisy get to spend precious time bonding with Robert.
Sofia Mattsson Hints At Sasha’s Return
General Hospital’s Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) on Instagram
On July 29, Sofia’s Instagram post gave fans hope that someday she’ll make her way back to General Hospital. Evidently, in Sofia’s photo caption she says goodbye “(for now 😜).” It sounds like the beloved actress as intentions to someway bring Sasha back to Port Charles. Until then, best of luck to Sofia, and we can’t wait to see her on GH again!
General Hospital: GH fans want Kelly Monaco back as Sam McCall
Kelly Monaco Returns To GeneralHospital As Sam McCall
Back in March the 21 year General Hospital star Kelly Monaco revealed plans for a new podcast. She and friend and former Playboy playmate Shanna Moakler were set to launch Bad Bunnies, a tell-all podcast.
After a few months passed without an update, General Hospital Blog reached out to inquire about the Bad Bunnies launch. GH Blog left an Instagram comment on Shanna Moakler’s post asking for an update on the project. That’s when actress, model, and good friend to Monaco, Shanna Moakler kindly replied. Moakler confirmed that Kelly Monaco was no longer available to co-host Bad Bunnies.
Shanna Moakler and Kelly Monaco withdrawal Bad Bunnies podcast plans
As a result, the former General Hospital star sparked rumors of a GH return.
Sadly, Sam McCall died back in October, on Halloween. It’s been about ten months since Kelly Monaco left General Hospital, and fans aren’t the only ones still talking about her character’s death. Evidently, Sam’s loved ones have recently been dropping her name more often in these last few weeks.
Ironically, Jason continues to comfort and guide Danny in memory of his mother, Alexis and her girls, Kristina and Molly talk about their lost Davis girl, Dante reflects on Sam’s memory often, Alexis’s concern for Scout stems from Drew’s failure to honor Sam’s wishes, and others mention Sam lately.
Almost a year after Sam’s death, and her family struggles to work together to honor her wishes because of Drew. Despite what’s going on with Willow, Drew still plans to take Scout and move to D.C. According to recent General Hospital recaps, Alexis needs Jason’s help to stop Drew from taking Scout. But what if Sam returns and stops Drew herself?
Do you think that the Sam return rumors are true? Is that why she withdrew from the tell-all Bad Bunnies podcast?
Did General Hospital right their wrong and offer Kelly back her job? It’s possible that there’s no tea to spill of GH remedied the problem and cut the real life drama.
General Hospital’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his iconic black T-shirt
Where is Jason Morgan’s black T-shirt?! Did you go to bed last night thinking that you’re about to face another mundane, Summer Monday morning? Maybe you had the Sunday scaries, maybe not. But for the most part, you probably figured that things would be business as usual. Well, think again.
General Hospital News: Expect the unexpected is what they say, and this Monday morning didn’t fall short for the “unexpected.” If only I would have shown up prepared on this Monday morning. If only I had expected the unexpected, then maybe I wouldn’t have been so thrown for a loop. Maybe.
While the WSB, the Corinthos mob plot, and rocky relationships cause suspense and intrigue to flood Port Charles, one particular PC resident has us shook. According to the latest General Hospitalpreviewsand spoilers, Jason Morgan is ready to go looking for Dr. Britt Westbourne. At first, Anna Devane wasn’t keen on him hunting down the presumed dead Doctor. GHrecaps recall that Anna expressed concerns over Jason setting out to find her. She figures that Britt doesn’t want to be found, and advised Jason to honor her wishes.
Coming up on General Hospital, Anna’s tune changes, and she urges Jason to find Britt. But is he in his A-game without his black T-shirt?!
General Hospital: Where is Jason’s black T-Shirt?!
General Hospital’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini and GH’s Kristen Storms (Maxie Jones)
Kristen Storms Defends Frank Valentini To Fans
Our world as we know it before social media has been long gone. Although people have been playing telephone since the beginning of time, misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and even lies have increased since social media.
Social media platforms are used to express ourselves on virtually any topic. While many utilize the benefits as intended, and others either help speak fake news, or fall victim to fake news.
According to General Hospital news, recent casting changes have been the subject of fake news. First, Details around Chad Duell’s “break” from General Hospital left fans hopeful that he’d return as Michael Corinthos. The door had been left open for a return as there wasn’t a sign of a recast in sight. However, things don’t always work out as planned. That’s when General Hospital news and spoilers reports confirmed that Chad would not return, and that the role had been recast. Then, come May of 2025, and Rory Gibson was recast as the new Michael Corinthos.
In her video, Storms revealed the facts of her upcoming exit from General Hospital. First and foremost, Kirsten assured fans that she WILL be back. The actress proceed to spill the tea on her upcoming move to Tennessee, her time off, details about her GH contract, and Frank Valentini. As expected, Kirsten’s news was, and still is a hot topic among the fans.
Kristen Storms Defends Frank Valentini To Fan
Seemingly, Chad’s (ex-Michael Corinthos) exit stirred the pot a bit. Now, GH fans fear that Storms won’t actually return, and claim the situation is, “just like Chad.” Reportedly, fans blame Frank Valentini for it.
As a result, some GH fans have taken it upon themselves to speculate about Storms’s “break” from General Hospital. Kirsten’s announcement raised questions based on mere rumors about Chad Duell’s exit.
In an Instagram reply, Kirsten Storms defends Frank to fans who seem to have pointed the finger in his direction. She makes her point crystal clear on her response to an who’s spreading pure speculation and false information.
“Frank does not come here on social media and throwing people under the bus to clear up these undeserved – and often incredibly mean – lies.”
