The latest General Hospital news reports reveal that a recent social media post has GH fans highly anticipating Kirsten Storms’ return as Maxie Jones. Hints were dropped, and General Hospital fans believe that Kirsten Storms makes a surprise return!

Back on June 8th, Storms provided fans with a life update. She stated that she would continue to reside in Tennessee, and that she would not return to LA.

Then, on August 6th, Kirsten shared another update. She showcased a new, red cardigan that she had just crocheted. She also unveiled a new look as her signature blonde hair was now brown. Kirsten invited and embraced the change, but it was short lived. Finally, on August 14th, Kirsten Storms seems to have dropped hints that have led to the latest GH rumors.

“Back in Cali.,” and “Back to blonde.”
That’s what is captioned on General Hospital star, Kirsten Storm’s latest Instagram story. Coincidentally, Kirsten’s return to California, and going back blonde are two factors essential in stepping back into the role of the iconic Fashionista, Maximista, Maxie Jones. It had only been 7-8 days since Storms showed off her new hair color before she has now returned to Maxie’s signature look. The clues could potentially indicate Kirsten Storms surprise General Hospital return as Maxie Jones.

According to recent GH recaps, Maxie, Spinelli, James, Georgie, and Baily Lou moved to Australia. Did plans for Spinelli’s new job fall through? Will Maxie and her family come home to Port Charles sooner than anyone anticipated?

General Hospital news reports confirm another recent casting change in Port Charles. Earlier this month, GH officials confirmed that Scout Cain had been recast. After learning that Kayden Brenna will takeover from Cosette Abinante as Scout, GH confirmed that Serena Baldwin has also been recast.

According to the latest General Hospital news, GH casts Y&R and B&B actress Kelly Kruger as the new Serena Baldwin. Kruger played Mackenzie on The Young and The Restless, and Eva on The Bold and The Beautiful.

Actress Carly Schroeder was the last to play Scotty and Dominique’s daughter. She took on the role from 1997-2017. General Hospital comings and goings reports reveal that Kelly Kruger began filing at Prospect Studios on June 8th. She makes her debut this July.

The last time we saw Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), she and baby Daisy left Port Charles to stay with her father Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers). It wasn’t safe for Sasha and her new baby, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saw to it that she and Daisy were safe.

Mattsson and her character Sasha left Port Charles back in July of 2025. At that time the wife and mother of two was in Stockholm, Sweden where she shared a photo and explained her GH exit. Mattsson informed fans that she was taking a break “for now” and hoped to return. Shortly after her GH exit is when her television father Tristan Rogers passed away in August.

According to General Hospital recaps Jason delivered Sasha and Daisy to Robert himself to ensure their safe arrival. Since then, and off screen, Tristan Rogers passed away. General Hospital spoilers indicate that GH plans to address Robert’s death on screen, as well as honor Tristan in a tribute.

Reportedly, General Hospital’s Sofia Mattsson made an announcement via Instagram. She shared a photo that is captioned, “Soaking up the LA sunshine.” So, from Sweden in July, Mattsson has now returned to Los Angeles. Although GH comings and goings reports have not yet confirmed Sasha Corbin’s return, GH rumors hint that Mattsson returns when Port Charles learns of Robert Scorpio’s passing.

If Chase leaves, it’s possible that his and Brook Lynn’s marriage will implode. The second shocking, potential GH exit is the Emmy winning actress Eden McCoy. McCoy has played Josslyn Jacks, daughter of Carly Spencer and Jasper Jacks since she was 12 years old. McCoy made her debut as Josslyn Jacks on October 14, 2015. According to recent General Hospital rumor reports, Eden may be on her way out. Details surrounding McCoy’s rumored GH exit have not yet been revealed or confirmed. However, speculation the the WSB will lead Josslyn out of Port Charles. Although Storms returns to the canvas as Maxie Jones this week, that doesn’t mean Maxie is out of the woods just yet. Reportedly, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) make a decision about Maxie’s care. They now have the option to bring Maxie home to GH. Having Maxie remain at the long term care facility is the alternative. Evidently, Felicia and Spinelli decide to bring Maxie home to GH. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is very much loved around Port Charles. Her family and friends are doing what they can to ensure that Maxie’s children are well cared for and loved as they wait out their mom’s medical crisis. After what seemed like a fluke incident, Maxie fell ill while on set of Home an Heart. Since then, she’s been in a coma just like her bestie Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins)! We all know that Maxie’s condition is no fluke… but the inner workings of Sidwell’s calculated stratagem.

Maxie’s husband Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is back from dead- and so is her ex-fiancé, and Nathan’s brother, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Their sister Britt Westbourne mysteriously returned from the dead as well. Coincidence? I think not.

Since Sidwell is connected to Faison’s final project, and he targeted Maxie, and Maxie has a child with both Nathan and Peter… then it’s safe to say that Sidwell finds Maxie’s connection to Faison’s son’s a big problem.

According to a recent Instagram post, Kirsten is back on set, filming scenes. She took a snapshot selfie in her dressing room mirror with a caption that revealed her GH status. Kirsten Storms returns to General Hospital after a six month break, and there’s so much in store for Maxie!
