General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Playing Someone And It’s Not Sonny

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has gone from a ruthless mobster to a loving mother and a dear friend. While there’s no doubt that she is a loving mother to her daughter Avery, her status as a “dear friend” is what’s in question.

Most definitely, Ava is a good friend to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). What’s between them is more than a friendship because Ava sees Trina as another daughter. Avery Corinthos is the light of Ava’s life, but losing Kiki (Hayley Erin) left a hole in her heart. Thankfully, Trina and Ava clicked. By no means does Trina take Kiki’s place, but she helps fill that void for Ava.

Port Charles is a small town, but Trina isn’t Ava’s only friend. Ava is a socialite. So she flutters around town making acquaintances, but has few deep connections. Seemingly, her strongest adult friendship is with Nina Reeves. Ava and Nina‘s friendship is quite strange given their history. According to GH, recaps, Nina kidnapped Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery at birth. She went on to become Nina’s bestie and married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Go figure.

As it turns out, GH spoilers and rumors tease that Nina and Ava aren’t really friends at all. Could it be that Ava’s playing Nina and has been this entire time? I mean, what mother can forgive her child’s kidnapper and then become the best of friends? Maybe only if that mother was psycho too!

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Warns Nina and Sonny Plans For The Future

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has spoken! His wife Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) wants nothing more than to get inside Sonny’s head and find out if he’s about to throw away their entire relationship. She knows what she did was wrong but she defends herself.

Evidently, Nina is master at backhanded apologies. Meaning, she’ll apologize in one breath, and by the next she’s defending her actions. Usually, the defense includes direct finger pointing at another party. It’s weird because it sounds like she takes accountability for at least half, but then she spouts out why everyone else made her do it. It’s interesting to say the least.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina and Sonny remain at odds after he learned of her betrayal. He doesn’t take deception lightly, and Ava Jerome knows it. To be fair, everyone knows it. But for some reason Nina believes that she’s the exception to Sonny’s standards. She may have gotten away with the unthinkable, but General Hospital previews indicate that Sonny goes ahead and makes plans that he can’t go back on.

Ava warns Nina about Sonny, as she knows his patterns. Meanwhile, Sonny needs a favor. He needs something done that can’t be taken back. And his plans don’t include his wife.

All Hail the wicked Ryan Chamberlain is dead! Less than a year ago, Ryan Chamberlain was stopped for good when he finally met his demise. He tortured killed stocked, kidnapped, and whatever else you can think of for decades. Ultimately, poetic justice was served when Mac Scorpio (John J. York) pulled the trigger that finally killed Ryan Chamberlain.

For a while Ryan had a little prodigy. His daughter Esme had a strong desire to make him proud. And in making him proud, that meant that Esme would do anything her father asked. But since Ryan’s glory days of having Esme carry out his dirty work, his daughter has done a complete 180.° GH recaps highlight Esme’s fateful fall from the Wyndemere parapet, resulting in amnesia. Now, the once teen psychopath is now a single mom doing the honest work to make a life for herself and her baby.

Fast forward and Ace’s mom no longer desires to terrorize anyone- especially her babies family. According to General Hospital recaps, Ava met Dr. Austin Holt quickly took kindly to each other in a strange way. In just a short time they went from fast friends to accomplices in a felony crime. They didn’t have undeniable chemistry, or even a strong desire or attraction. Instead, it seems like Ava believed that their friendship was genuine. As for anything beyond friendship, Ava admitted that she didn’t know what to make of their night together. Sadly, little did she know that Austin was lying to her the entire time.

But we do have an inkling that if Mason chooses differently, Ava will be dead.
