Tracy’s heartfelt speech for Monica was as genuine as Jane’s feelings for Leslie Charleson. Elliot and Charleson were true friends behind the GH set, and walked through life together since meeting in 1965.

Reportedly, GH iconic Jane Elliot opened up about losing Leslie, and mourning her friend twice. She told Variety, “It was very, very difficult to play her alive when she had already passed in real life. It extended the mourning because we had to keep her alive when she wasn’t. I had to mourn her death twice,” Elliot disclosed.

The love in the room is undeniable as GH celebrates Leslie Charleson.

Now, we reminisce on unforgettable memories throughout the years. My favorites include. Monica and Tracy’s rivalry, Monica’s favoritism for Jason aka Golden Boy, and Thanksgiving pizza, and much more.

Undoubtedly, the Daytime TV world and soap opera community endures another loss among the GH cast. General Hospital news reports confirm that General Hospital legend, Leslie Charleson has died. Sadly, General Hospital cast and crew has lost one of their nearest and dearest, and the General Hospital fandom also mourns this great loss a well.

Charleson’s General Hospital journey began in 1977 when she joint the cast as the iconic Monica Quartermaine. Reportedly, Charles played Monica in over 2,000 episodes throughout the years. GH’s Executive Producer shares the news via Instagram, leaving a heartfelt message. “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson. Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew. I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set. According to online resources, a number of falls contributed to Leslie Charleson’s developed lack of mobility. It was just a week ago when Charles took another fall and was hospitalized. One week later, she passed away. Leslie Charleson was 79 years old.

There’s no doubt that Monica adores Jason, and he respects and loves his mama.

He said that grandma Monica (Leslie Charleson) wasn’t well enough to make it to Chase and Brooklyn’s wedding. Additionally, Monica requested that Jason attends the wedding in her place. So it is respect for Monica, Jason agreed to represent his mother at the wedding.

Close friends and family gather together to support the couple as they say I Do. There isn’t a soul in Port Charles who would object to this union, which ensure that no one will have to speak now or forever hold their peace. Monica Regrets Sending Jason In Her Place

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Jason becomes victim to Sonny’s bullet while trying to save Dex. Previously, GH Blog shared the latest GH rumors and spoilers for this week. Apparently, Sonny shoots Dex and Jason takes a bullet for his son. Other GH rumors suggest that Danny is shot with a bullet that was intended for Dex. No matter how you slice it, the loves of Monica’s son, grandson, and possibly a second grandson are at risk.

It’s looking more and more like the GH rumors about Jason and Dex are true. Did Sonny shoot Jason’s son? And will Jason die a hero for saving Dex? GH rumors hint that Danny could be the one who Sonny shoots- inadvertently of course.

Over the years Leslie has displayed her versatile talents as Monica Q. Alan, Tracy, Jason, etc. bring out various sides of this well-rounded character and actress. Additionally, a burned Thanksgiving dinner to facing and surviving breast cancer, Leslie has portrayed many different aspects of Monica.
