Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had all four hands in the disappearance and death of WSB Chief Jack Brennan. GH recaps recall how Drew had Ava drugged Brennan , (Chris L. McKenna) and when they saw him floating in the Metro Court pool, they moved the body and buried him. But does that necessarily mean that THEY killed him? No, not exactly. On 9-14-26, Baines questioned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on the disappearance of Jack Brennan. He also questioned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Both women have the motive to want Brennan dead- both wanting to avenge their daughters.
Realistically, it could have been any one of Jack’s enemies that did him in. Did someone push him into the pool? Regardless, WSB’s Acting Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) zeros in on a main suspect. According to GH rumors, Baines arrests Nina for Jack’s murder! Later in the week, Willow receives startling news. Will she be notified that her mother was arrested?
Another one bites the dust. Will Nina go for yet another one of Carly’s men? Soon, Carly and Jack will be over, and the mysterious and handsome WSB Agent will be on the market.
Would anyone be surprised if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had her sights set on WSB Agent, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna)? It’s not like she hasn’t has Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) leftovers in the past.
Carly’s nemesis has managed to wiggle her way into the arms of Carly’s men, post discard. Except for Sonny. Nina stole him from Carly when both Sonny and Carly were at a most vulnerable state. In early 2020, she got her hands on Jasper Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), the father of Carly’s daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Then there’s Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Nina was sleeping with Drew fresh out of her relationship with Carly’s husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Carly Spencer and Jack Brenna got together due to their a mutual attraction and intrigue of each other. Despite the complex situation, Carly gave the relationship a shot. But now that she’s so over his lies, and how he’s jeopardizing Josslyn’s life, Carly is ready to kick Jack to the curb. Currently, Carly is on a secret mission with Valentin Cassadine to take down Brennan. She’s hurt and over what they had because she’s come to terms with the fact that it was all based on lies.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is onto something. She has her law enforcement hat on, and has taken on this investigation. As a former spy, FBI Agent, and the current Police Commissioner, Devane has experience from several different angles of the industry. That said, Anna knows how to narrow down the suspect list.
Coming up on General Hospital, Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter remains at large. With the help of assistant district attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), Commissioner Devane is able to further narrow down the suspect list. According to GH recaps , ADA Turner and Commissioner Devane zero in on Nina and Willow. Conveniently, the estranged mother-daughter duo are each other’s alibi. Nina swept in when Willow was question about the time gap between her shift at the hospital and the “walk” she went on in the rain.

She has the motive, access to the Q mansion, and don’t forget the “crazy gene!” It’s likely that Willow doesn’t even remember that’s she shot Drew. Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.
Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. But Nina definitely stole Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery- out of Ava’s womb. And now she’s best friends with Ava and married to Sonny. Well, I guess that’s how they roll in Port Charles.
It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.
Nina Moved On From Carly
Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on. At this point I can’t even remotely fathom how anyone is on Nina’s side. Don’t get me wrong because I think Nina is a crazy cool character, and Cynthia Watros is exceptionally talented. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t see her problematic nature, faults, and flaws. In fact, Cynthia’s acting abilities is what makes me compare her to all the narcissists in my life. Simply put, Cynthia Watros plays it so well. How can anyone possibly hate on that? Now her character in the other hand, she’s fair game.
GH recaps recall Nina’s fierce reaction to Carly and Drew’s Crimson stunt. What’s the point of asking Carly if they’re finally even if she doesn’t plan on leaving well enough alone? It’s apparent that Nina has zero plans to leave things as they are with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). Obviously, Nina doesn’t care about playing fair when all she sees is red and Carly’s smirk every time she closes her eyes. If I didn’t know better, it surely looks like Carly and Drew ignite the evil spirits within Nina as they’ve been fighting to emerge. I’d I had to guess, I’d say that this feud is far from over.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Valentin makes Nina an offer. Evidently, the offer is so enticing that Nina contemplates her next move.
