As for myself, many times the love to hate vibe turns straight into love for the character. To say that Gladys and Sasha’s scenes were heartbreaking is a gross understatement. Because not only is this entire storyline heartbreaking, for some it’s truly disturbing. I for one admit that I found it very difficult to continue watching after Gladys called the authorities.
In that moment my heart sank down to my stomach. Presumably, GH fans across the board felt the same sucker punch to the gut.

But Cody’s heroism stems from his faith in Sasha. Since the beginning, he never doubted her. In fact, he was the one to address the strange situation in the first place. He knew that Sasha was stronger and she didn’t start using again. That alone is heroism.

She trusts that he has her best interest in heart and mind although she’s physically safe at the moment Sasha is distraught over all that she’s lost.
