General Hospital cast and crew have been on hiatus since March 2020 due to the global pandemic Covid-19. Film production in LA was forced to halt in order to slow the spread of this potentially deadly disease that has taken over our world. In that time, actors and crew alike have been laid off or have been furloughed, awaiting notification to when film production can begin again.
While Genera Hospital production has been on hold, some of the cast have been working on and/or promoting other projects in which they have been involved.
General Hospital news reveals upcoming new episodes of a Netflix show, starring General Hospital’s Haley Pullos, who plays Molly Lansing Davis. Pullos announced on Instagram, her role in a new Netflix original; Ashley Garcia: Genius In Love. The show premieres July 20th.
As we narrow in on an unexpected marriage and surprise wedding for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), currently General Hospital rumors claim although their marriage is meant to solely benefit the life of Michael’s son Wiley, these two will inevitably fall in love. Molly Lansing Davis has been with the same young man for several years. She and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are really all one another knows. They are young and in love, but really in synch. After Molly turned down his marriage proposal, Molly went through a series of events which lead her to a one night stand with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) cousin, Brando Corbin (John Wactor). Molly thought TJ had ghosted her. Now that she knows the truth about what happened to TJ, Molly feels extremely guilty. However, she’s cruising along her new bumpy road trying to make things right with TJ. She and TJ have agreed to a domestic partnership. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) met his distant cousin for the first time after Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) showed up out of nowhere during an attack from enemy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Brando was thought to have been dead, as his mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) told Sonny and his family that her son had passed away.
Brando seemed to have shown up at the right place at the right time, placing himself directly into the crossfire, and saving Sonny’s wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). After some questions, it was revealed that Brando is Gladys’ son and he is far from deceased. Sonny and Jason had their suspicions about Brando and his intentions, but shortly after talking with him, Sonny let his guard down and trusts Brando isn’t working for Cyrus or anyone else that would be against Sonny. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is always a little more cautious when it comes to trusting people. Jason still has his reservations about Brando but at this time, it’s not enough to do anything about it. General Hospital rumors suggest that Brando may have ulterior motives since Jason is typically right about people when his instincts tell him there is something off.
So far Brando has shown to be a stand up and trustworthy guy. However, Sonny may not see it that way after he learns of Brando and Molly’s (Haley Pullos) one night stand. General Hospital spoilers indicate Sonny will somehow learn that the woman Brando was talking about when Sonny stopped in to check on how he was doing at the garage was Molly, and that they ultimately had a one night stand. Since Molly is Sonny’s niece, he will find reason to justify his involvement when he confronts Brando about the situation.

Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is going through a difficult time in her life as she tries to wait out our her parole. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has made it clear to Sam that they need to stay away from one another and abide by the rules of her parole. Sam isn’t allowed to be anywhere near Jason while she is being punished for a crime Peter August (Wes Ramsey) committed. Sam was framed and is currently struggling with the terms of her unjustified punishment while Peter walks free.
Sam isn’t the only Davis sister with drama in her life. Her sister Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) slept with another man while thinking TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) gave up on her and their relationship. Sam and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) know all about their sister Molly’s predicament and support any decision she makes in regard to her one night stand with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Molly decided not to tell TJ what happened since there is no need to hurt him. Molly didn’t cheat on TJ, she was under the impression he had ghosted her and ended their relationship. Her thoughts were validated when she went to see his mom, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) where Jordan scolded Molly, telling her TJ wants nothing to do with her and to grow up.
Sam went to the garage where Brando works as a mechanic to confront him about his night with Molly. Sam warned Brando not to make trouble for Molly and TJ. In doing so, Sam and Brando had some choice words for each other. Although the two bickered back and forth, Brando still managed to get his shirt off in front of Sam, and Sam closed out the conversation with a witty comment that revealed her extensive knowledge of motorcycles.
General Hospital rumors hint that Sam and Brando haven’t had their last encounter, and some General Hospital fans may even argue that their brief confrontation wasn’t just Sam warning Brando about Molly and TJ. General Hospital spoilers suggest Sam’s warning has inadvertently displayed tension and chemistry between the two. Since Sam has been ordered not only by her parole officer, but by Jason himself, to stay away from Jason, it’s possible Sam finds a distraction in Brando. Although Sam would do anything to be with Jason, the love of her life, General Hospital rumors claim both Brando and Sam will be in a place in their lives where they need someone to help them get through whatever it is they are going through.

Molly confided in her sisters regarding what happened between her and Brando, and how it effects her relationship with TJ. Molly sounds like she has never been more sure of anything in her life when she tells Sam and Kristina how in love she is with TJ. It almost sounds like she is trying to convince not only her sisters, but herself of the feelings she has for TJ.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Molly will start to second guess herself the further and further she gets to spending the rest of her life with TJ as they approach their domestic partnership. Molly can’t stop thinking about being questioned by Sam and Kristina regarding her reason for saying yes to a domestic partnership with TJ. Sam asked Molly is she said yes because she just almost lost him, and Kristina asked if she felt pressured.

Molly told her sister, Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) all about her friend’s wedding in which she is a bridesmaid. She went on and on about the cost, the time it takes to get together, and all the things that go along with being a bridesmaid. Later, she was telling TJ directly that she doesn’t know why people even get married, along with other complaints such as finances.
TJ had just come from the PCPD to meet his mom, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) so that she could give TJ a very special ring. TJ is planning to propose marriage to Molly with Jordan’s wedding ring when she was married to his Father, Tommy Ashford.
After arriving at the Metro Court to see Molly, he definitely didn’t expect to hear what he did from his girlfriend. Molly’s negative comments about marriage definitely didn’t sit well with TJ. General Hospital spoilers reveal TJ was about to propose to Molly, but now may get cold feet and forget the whole thing for the time being. Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) make up one of the strongest couples in Daytime TV. These two met back in 2012 as kids and have been able to spend the past 6 years growing up together, getting to know one another, and establishing a strong bond.
In an interview with Soaps In Depth, Haley Pullos weighs in on Molly and TJ getting engaged and beginning their adult life together as a married couple.
Many fans were surprised at the writers when TJ came to Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) disclosing his plans of asking Molly to marry him and Stella’s response wasn’t quite what TJ expected to hear. Stella brought race into it. as if these two haven’t been together already for 6 years? Needless to say, that interjection was a bit off putting however fans have brushed it aside.
There is also the age issue. Many like to speak their mind and share their opinion involving the young couple’s age. Some argue the two are too young to get married. In an interview with Soaps In Depth, Haley Pullos commented, “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with marrying your first love and spending the rest of your life with the person that you have already spent a lot of your life with,” Pullos stated.
It seems the actress is perfectly fine with her character taking the next step in her relationship with TJ and is excited to do so.
