General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Headed For A Breakdown- Sonny Loses His Faculties And Becomes Vulnerable To The Enemy

Will Sonny Corinthos ever see the light? It’s hard to say at the moment, but from the looks of things this mindset continues to take over the Port Charles mobster.

A few years ago (I stopped counting) the Corinthos family was turned upside down. Nina Reeves took it upon herself to manipulate and basically imprison a husband and father. She found Sonny in Nixon Falls and nothing has been the same since. Shockingly, Sonny chose his captor over his wife and kids shortly after it was discovered that he wasn’t actually dead. Nope, he had amnesia and Nina took advantage of a man who was suffering from memory loss. Now Sonny’s life has been turned upside down and he points the finger everywhere except for in the mirror. Surely Sonny was Nina’s victim, but he eventually had a choice and he chose her over Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and his kids.

Sonny’s Headed For A Breakdown

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny still suffers the consequences of his choices. So far, his life with Nina has turned into a disaster. Sadly, he continues to throw away life-long relationships even after he and Nina have split. Carly and Jason Morgan have been unfairly accused, regardless of their long and loyal history with Sonny.

According to GH recaps, Valentin Cassadine’s shocking revelation about Pikeman is just another calamitous result of Nina and Sonny’s toxic relationship. As someone who has bipolar disorder, it’s imperative that Sonny stay on his meds and stays focused. But that’s going to be difficult now that Valentin admitted that he’s messing with Sonny’s bipolar medication. He anticipates that the PC mobster goes off the rails, making him vulnerable to the enemy.

General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Cassadine Targeted Sonny For Nina

Many would argue that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has had more than her fair share of heartbreak and loss. She was in and out of mental hospitals before moving to Port Charles, and her story grew crazier from there. But first, she was separated from her two twin daughters while in a coma. And sadly, her daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has already passed. Furthermore, Nina’s other daughter Willow wants nothing to do with her.

GH recaps highlight Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) part in Nina’s life, past and present. Similar to Anna, Nina has always had Valentin’s love. He fell hard for Nina, but his love is what eventually caused Nina’s deepest sorrows. That’s when he hired Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to pretend to be Nina’s long lost daughter. Although Valentin’s intentions were from the heart, the lie tore them apart. Today, Valentin would still do anything for Nina, and she has forgiven him for the past.

Both Nina and Valentin have moved onto other love interests since their relationship ended. Eventually, Valentin got Anna to fall in the with him, and Nina imprisoned Sonny and then married him. Through it all, Nina and Valentin remained close friends.

Valentin Wants Nina All To Himself

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny and Valentin’s business dealings were a ploy to get Sonny out of the way. You can call it jealousy, or even protection. Valentin Cassadine’s gestures are boundless, and nothing is off limits when helping people he loves. Especially, the woman of his desires. Lucky for Nina, it’s her.

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Valentin targeted Sonny for Nina. Apparently, when Valentin’s reached out to Sonny regarding the Pikeman deal his nefarious plan was already set in motion. Could it be that Valentin wants Sonny out the way and out of Nina’s life. Is his goal to become one big happy family with Nina and Charlotte?

General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Makes Nina An Offer To Give Her The Upper Hand

So what will it be, folks? Will Nina and Carly quit while they’re still in one piece, or will it cost a lot more to “settle the score”?

At this point I can’t even remotely fathom how anyone is on Nina’s side. Don’t get me wrong because I think Nina is a crazy cool character, and Cynthia Watros is exceptionally talented. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t see her problematic nature, faults, and flaws. In fact, Cynthia’s acting abilities is what makes me compare her to all the narcissists in my life. Simply put, Cynthia Watros plays it so well. How can anyone possibly hate on that? Now her character in the other hand, she’s fair game.

GH recaps recall Nina’s fierce reaction to Carly and Drew’s Crimson stunt. What’s the point of asking Carly if they’re finally even if she doesn’t plan on leaving well enough alone? It’s apparent that Nina has zero plans to leave things as they are with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). Obviously, Nina doesn’t care about playing fair when all she sees is red and Carly’s smirk every time she closes her eyes. If I didn’t know better, it surely looks like Carly and Drew ignite the evil spirits within Nina as they’ve been fighting to emerge. I’d I had to guess, I’d say that this feud is far from over.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Valentin makes Nina an offer. Evidently, the offer is so enticing that Nina contemplates her next move. GH turned give that Valentin’s offer would give Nina the upper hand over Drew and Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Will Nina take on a new role at ELQ?

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura’s Christmas Wish Granted, Lulu Wakes To Save Charlotte

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) lived for his family, but not in the noble family man type of way. Instead, it was more like he wanted to lead a powerful band of criminals.

Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) has been brainwashed! It seems like Uncle Vic wanted the last word because his terror through Port Charles lingers. General Hospital recaps highlight Victor’s influence over his granddaughter Charlotte. His evil ways live on through her as she makes Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) her first victim.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Laura is stressing over what’s going on with Charlotte. As if she didn’t have enough trouble with her son Nikolas Cassadine, now she’s worried about her granddaughter. Victor’s influence in Charlotte’s life is evident, and Laura is afraid. She knows what they are up against because she’s had a lifetime of experience with the Cassadines. The last thing she wants is to see her granddaughter under their spell. Sadly, that’s exactly what’s happening and will worsen unless someone intervenes. But whom?

General Hospital rumors tease that Laura gets her Christmas wish! She and Charlotte want nothing more than for Lulu to wake up. Her lack of presence in Charlotte’s life is taking its toll and Laura knows that things would be better if Lulu were here. Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is well on her way to living the complete Cassadine lifestyle. Many fall into it but only a few manage to escape the family’s dark ways. As one of the youngest Cassadines, Charlotte seems to be leaning toward the dark traits of the family. General Hospital recaps recall a long history of malicious acts by Valentin and Lulu Spencer’s daughter. Lately, Charlotte’s behavior has become very Cassadine-like. While GH rumors hint that young Charlotte’s on her way to becoming Helena 2.0, many GH fans hope she turns herself around.

Anyone who knows anything about General Hospital knows that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is lethal. The Cassadines are known for their deadly usurpation schemes which have no bounds. Power, control, and revenge are what drive these dark Cassadines. So it makes sense that Victor would use his granddaughter to get revenge on Anna. But by having Charlotte carryout his dirty work, she becomes a danger to those around her.

Elizabeth Condemns Anna and Endangers Jake

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Elizabeth Webber’s son is in potential danger. His friendship with Charlotte could put him at risk if she continues to be held under Victor’s mind control. That is, unless his mom shakes that holier than thou attitude and sees the truth. Elizabeth is so quick to condemn Anna when she has no clue that her son is hangs around Helena Jr. Then again, Elizabeth knows all too well what it’s like being involved with a Cassadine. After all, Liz is the one who helped Nikolas imprison a young pregnant woman.

How much pain and agony can Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) face? It seems like many of us focus on the hardship of certain characters while overlooking those of others. I’m not sure of that’s totally true in this case, but from what I’ve witnessed, it could.

Undeniably, General Hospital fans went crazy over everything Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) went through. Gladys and Dr. Montague’s stunt was the last straw as fans demanded justice for Sasha. She’d suffered to major human losses, and lost her own freedoms while entrusting it to Gladys. As if that wasn’t enough, then her own mother-in-law sold her dead husband’s garage from under her nose. Naturally, Gladys Corbin has to pay off her gambling debts somehow. So, why not sell what belonged to Brando (Johnny Wactor)? That’s just how Greedy Gladys thinks. Next, she stole Sasha’s money to pay off even more, and hired a creepy doctor to keep her drugged and unfit to look over her own finances. Sadly, this scheme almost kicked Sasha, but Cody (Josh Kelly) and crew print into action, and you know the rest.

If we go back in time, it’s clear that Sasha isn’t the only damsel who has been distressed beyond the norm. Laura Spencer, among others, carry that reputation as well. However, as the years go on, Laura continues to feel loss and heartache. Not to mention she was also held captive in her day.
