General Hospital: Ryan Paevy Returns to General Hospital
First, General Hospital news reports confirmed Kelly Thiebaud’s GH return as Dr. Britt Westbourne. Now, we’ve learned that Dr. Liesl Obrecht could quite possibly receive a double miracle because Ryan Paevey returns to General Hospital!
Thiebaud’s General Hospital return was confirmed back in June. Since then, GH rumors speculate that another close family member returns from the dead. After months of speculation, we can finally put the rumors to rest and consider them official news!
According to Deadline, Ryan Paevey returns to General Hospital, and has already begun filming! As for Liesl’s double miracle, that remains to be seen. General Hospital spoilers tease that Paevey may not return to GH as Detective Nathan West. He told the news source that he received a “surprise text” from GH’s Executive Producer Frank Valentini. However, Paevey didn’t disclose details about the role he’s set to play this time around.
Reportedly, General Hospital fans can look forward to seeing Ryan Paevey’s GH return this September! Please check back with General Hospital Blog for the latest updates on Paevy’s return!
Last month, General Hospital star Kirsten Storms confirmed her exit from the daytime drama. The long time fan favorite is moving to Tennessee and took time off for the big move. Reportedly, Storms assured fans that she WILL return to General Hospital as Maxie Jones.
Additionally, Storms teases about what’s coming up on General Hospital as Maxie heads off the canvas. She says that fans are going to “freak out” as Maxie’s storyline unfolds. Evidently, the writers used this opportunity to create something big surrounding Maxie Jones.
General Hospital recaps recall that Mr. Sidwell got an ear full when James reminded him exactly who Maxie’s father is. As the PCPD’s Chief of Detectives, Mac Scorpio is a direct link for Maxie to come forward.
GH’s Cody (Josh Kelly), James (Gary James Fuller), and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) at the MetroCourt Pool
Sidwell is well aware of Maxie’s stance on the whole Deception, dirty-money scandal, and he isn’t too happy about it. So now that’s two strikes against Maxie in Sidwell’s eyes. She’s become an even bigger threat to his nefarious plans after being reminded that Mac is her dad.
Moreover, Tracy fears that Maxie will go rogue, and go to the PCPD about the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) financial findings. If Sidwell catches wind of it, will he do whatever he deems necessary to stop Maxie?
General Hospital: Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Marie Jones (Kirsten Storms) Attend Deception Meeting
It sounds like Maxie could find herself bumped out of Sidwell’s good graces. Unfortunately, being the mysterious mobster’s enemy is quite dangerous. Just ask Sonny Corinthos. GH rumors speculate that Sidwell kidnaps Maxie and James to prevent her from going to the police. Other rumors suggest that either Maxie or James gets kidnapped as opposed to both.
How will Maxie be written out? If James is kidnapped, Maxie could set out on a quest to find him. Or, Maxie herself is kidnapped and kept from going to Mac and the PCPD with information.
Whatever the story, GH fans anticipate the “freak out” that Kirsten promises.

Kristen Storms Defends Frank Valentini To Fans
Our world as we know it before social media has been long gone. Although people have been playing telephone since the beginning of time, misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and even lies have increased since social media.
Social media platforms are used to express ourselves on virtually any topic. While many utilize the benefits as intended, and others either help speak fake news, or fall victim to fake news.
According to General Hospital news, recent casting changes have been the subject of fake news. First, Details around Chad Duell’s “break” from General Hospital left fans hopeful that he’d return as Michael Corinthos. The door had been left open for a return as there wasn’t a sign of a recast in sight. However, things don’t always work out as planned. That’s when General Hospital news and spoilers reports confirmed that Chad would not return, and that the role had been recast. Then, come May of 2025, and Rory Gibson was recast as the new Michael Corinthos.
In her video, Storms revealed the facts of her upcoming exit from General Hospital. First and foremost, Kirsten assured fans that she WILL be back. The actress proceed to spill the tea on her upcoming move to Tennessee, her time off, details about her GH contract, and Frank Valentini. As expected, Kirsten’s news was, and still is a hot topic among the fans.
Kristen Storms Defends Frank Valentini To Fan
Seemingly, Chad’s (ex-Michael Corinthos) exit stirred the pot a bit. Now, GH fans fear that Storms won’t actually return, and claim the situation is, “just like Chad.” Reportedly, fans blame Frank Valentini for it.
As a result, some GH fans have taken it upon themselves to speculate about Storms’s “break” from General Hospital. Kirsten’s announcement raised questions based on mere rumors about Chad Duell’s exit.
In an Instagram reply, Kirsten Storms defends Frank to fans who seem to have pointed the finger in his direction. She makes her point crystal clear on her response to an who’s spreading pure speculation and false information.
“Frank does not come here on social media and throwing people under the bus to clear up these undeserved – and often incredibly mean – lies.”
General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms Addresses GH Exit News
Just like your parents, General Hospital fans pick favorites. They know who they love to watch frolic around Port Charles, and can even become territorial over who plays the role. I’ll be honest, I do feel like certain actors are absolutely irreplaceable in their roles. But more often than not, the recast ends up growing on me. But there is no doubt that some actors have made their role so iconic that it’s unimaginable to think of a recast.
For me, one in particular is Kirsten Storms as Maxie Jones. Aside from a temporary recast from time to time, Kirsten Storms IS Maxie Jones. Although Storms did not originate the role, she has 20 years under her belt as the vibrant, beautiful, and fin, business-savvy, fashion icon.
Aside from the occasional temp, Maxie is one character who I can’t see anyone play except for Kirsten. So the recent news surrounding Storms’s GH status Earlier this month word that Kirsten was leaving GH hit social media. General Hospital rumors began to fly about the who, the what, the when, and the why. So, Kirsten addressed her GH exit in a video message to fans.
We Haven’t Seen The Last Of Maxie! Kirsten Storms Addresses GH Exit News
First thing first, General Hospital star Kirsten Storms confirmed her exit from the 62 year old Daytime Drama. Most importantly, General Hospital news and spoilers report that Storms also assures GH fans that she is still under contract, and will return after her break. She went into a bit of detail about her break from General Hospital, and revealed that she is moving to Tennessee!
Rest assured that this news has no bearing on her future status with General Hospital in fact, Kirsten praise executive producer Frank Valentini, the writers, and all those involved in granting her request to take a break while she packs up and moves to Tennessee. Despite the long distance, Kirsten will remain on contract with General Hospital as Maxie Jones for the foreseeable future.
GH News: No Recast! Storms reveals that there will be no replacement for Maxie when she’s gone- which can only mean one thing- Maxie is written out for a while, but not without a grand exit. The writers must find some way to write Maxie out of Port Charles. And storms expressed that she thinks fans are gonna “freak out,” at what’s in store!
General Hospital: Maxie Jones Recast, Nicole Paggi Steps In For Kristen Storms
Details Surrounding the latest Maxie Jones Recast- Although she’s not the face we typically see in the told of Maxie Jones, GH fans still saw a familiar face in Kirsten Storms’s place on General Hospital’s July 3rd episode.
Recently on General Hospital, Nicole Paggi took over as Maxie Jones due to a scheduling conflict with actress Kirsten Storms. This isn’t the sits time that the Hope and Faith actress portrayed Maxie. According to General Hospital news, Paggi took over for Storms in December of 2023.
The latest General Hospital casting news reports confirm that Storms will be out for a few episodes due to a scheduling conflict. The cast and crew of GH have a fast paced filming process that typically involves filing more than one episode per day. That said, Paggi will air as Maxie again on July 30th, and then once more on August 13th. Reportedly, Kirsten Storms can be seen as Maxie the week of August 18th.
General Hospital: Maxie (Kirsten Storms) Calls Out Sasha (Sofia Mattsson)
Maxie Calls Out Sasha About Jason! Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is pregnant with Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) baby. As if being a married man to her friend Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) wasn’t enough, him having been severely burned, and sent away for treatment in Germany complicated the situation even further.
Aside from Sasha and Michael, only one other person knows the paternity of Sasha’s baby; and that’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). However, GH recaps recall that Jason made Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) privy to the information under client/attorney privilege. But we all know she’s not going to say a word. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) on the other hand has a blabber mouth with which even Gretchen Weiners can’t compete.
According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Maxie calls out Sasha about her baby’s paternity. Surprisingly. Maxi even mentions Jason‘s name. Yes she comes right out and tells Sasha, “ some people think Jason is the father of your baby.”
Sasha’s now under pressure to spill the tea. Moreover, now that Sasha and Maxie are family, they’ve gotten even closer. that’s probably why Maxi feels comfortable, addressing the sensitive topic. Besides, Maxi has known Jason Morgan, practically her entire life. That said, I’m sure curiosity and intrigue have gotten the best of her after Cody’s little outburst.
Kirsten Storms made a name for herself starring in various Disney Channel productions. But first, she began acting in commercials and ads. Shortly after that she landed a starring role in Disney’s Zenon: Girl Of The 21st Century. Next, Storms’s career took off when she was cast as Belle Black on Days Of Our Lives.
Although her role as a Disney Channel movie star and other small Disney roles accelerated her fame, Kirsten is best known for her current character on ABC’s General Hospital. The 40 year old actress was cast as Maxie Jones in 2005, and remains a fan-favorite character today.
Over the years GH fans came to not only love Maxie, but also her portrayer. Social media opened up the door for fans to gain a sliver of access into their favorite celebrity’s lives. So, the more that’s shared, the more the audience can get to know the person behind the fictional character.
Kirsten Storms Posts Transformation Selfie
Kirsten Storms shares just enough about her life which gives fans a bit of a background into her real world. Reportedly, Storms has shared some major life events via Instagram. The ups and the downs make it to her page, and fans are able to express their support and thoughts on these particular life events. Recently, Kirsten shared some insight about her struggles on Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson’s podcast, The Daily Drama.
The last few years have brought challenges to the iconic Soap star. Those include emergency brain surgery, a divorce, and a bipolar diagnosis- not necessarily in that order. GH’s Emmy nominated Storms recently addresses how her personal life has infiltrated into Maxie’s world, and her appearance.
According to the latest General Hospital News and spoilers, Kirsten Storms shares a selfie on Instagram, showcasing her fresh look. The star credits makeup artist Jacklyn Quakenbush in her IG story selfie. Additionally, Storms tags ABC’s General Hospital in her post. Aside from her gorgeous makeup, Storms displays a slimmed down look in her blue and home striped button-down. Take a peak at Kirsten’s vibe in the video below!
I’m going to first start off by saying that Maxie is one of my favorite characters of all time. Since 2005 Kirsten’s portrayal of Maxie Jones has captured my attention and adoration for the character and the actress. And because Kirsten Storms and I are only two years apart in age it feels like I’ve grown up right along with her character.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Kirsten explains how a personal life crisis has impacted her role as Maxie. She sat down with co-stars Bradford Anderson and Steve Burton on their podcast called The Daily Drama. The 40 year old GH star reflected on her 2021 brain surgery and how the recovery process trickled into her work. “I didn’t bounce back from that mentally and emotionally as quick as I would want to,” she noted. “And I feel like how I felt personally was reflected in Maxie in the show.” She admitted.
This was a difficult time for Kirsten and the criticism from so-called fans added to it. But now that she’s creeping up on the three year mark since her surgery, Storms has a new outlook.
“Now, I’m starting to feel a little bit more like myself as I’m learning to take better care of me. And at work, I’m dressing in more fashionable outfits. I’m more into making sure my makeup goes with it,” she added. “I have a really different, cool hairstyle. All the old school Maxie stuff.”
The brave and beautiful Kirsten Storms seems readier than ever to take on Maxie, and wow fans with that iconic Maximista fashion sense. She also joked about smiling over this rough patch and disclosed her wish, “Maybe we could just like not fully remember Maxie over the last couple of years,” Storms laughed, “and we could just jump from Spixie to now. But that is the growth.”
General Hospital spoilers tease that we are headed for Spixie 2.0 and Kristen is all for it! Bradford Anderson and Kirsten’s Spinelli and Maxie still have what it takes to wow fans with their incredible romance. Are you ready to watch Spinelli and Maxie fall in love all over again?
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore are headed for a new adventure. Thanks to Lucy, Cody revealed his true feelings. It may have sounded a bit harsh, but he knew what he wanted, and that was to quit. Now that Cody and Sasha are free of Deception, what will they do next?
General Hospital recaps highlight Sasha’s shocking exit from Deception. She has officially resigned from being the cosmetic company’s spokeswoman. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) were left high and dry without the Face of Deception.
Evidently, Maxie can’t help but blame Lucy for this mess. Ms. Coe’s desperate attempt to keep from losing the photo shoot disrespected Sasha. Despite not taking offense to the recent criticism, Sasha remained comfortable with bowing out gracefully.
Moreover, Cody set the stage for the big news. It was he who quit first in his attempt to stand up for Sasha. Shortly after his admission to basically hating his job, Sasha threw in the towel too. These two suddenly have the freedom to explore their true passions and let that guide the way.
Could Cody or Sasha’s new venture involve relocating?
Josh Kelly Exits… Is Cody Leaving GH?
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Josh Kelly exits General Hospital. Recently, Josh joined co-stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson on their podcast called Daily Drama. The three GH stars discussed various topics which then focused on Kelly’s upcoming movie. “I’m doing a movie. It’s pretty cool,” admitted Kelly. “I’m doing a revenge pic called The Workout Video.”
According to GH news reports, Kelly’s GH exit is only temporary. Reports suggest that his absence will be short term despite no reports on a specific duration.
Thankfully, Josh and his character Cody Bell won’t be gone for too long!
Over the course of existence, society has formed a generalized opinion on the Modeling Industry. The elite group became subject to public scrutiny, stereotyping, baseless speculation and opinions, along with a strict list of prerequisites.
The ever-evolving Modeling Industry looks much different than it had all of those years ago. Still, the shift in the public’s opinion is seemingly minimal. Today, the uniquely talented individuals, or professional models (also known as Supermodels), remain subjected to unfair assessments and assumptions about their career. Sadly, Port Charles’s leading cosmetics company faces a new challenge.
