What happened to Maxie? So far, the ladies of Deception haven’t the slightest clue as to how or what caused what seems like a reaction to the Deception Youth Truth cream. Maxie’s adverse reaction to the cream is an isolated incident that no one say coming. There were no signs that Maxie has been allergic to the Youth Truth cream in the past, and there hasn’t been any changes to the formula.

General Hospital Recaps: As Lucy said, they’ve all tested the cream many times before without devastating consequences. So what could be the issue? According to GH recaps, Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) reported that Maxie’s vitals are good, and her heart is functioning as it should- except he did find an unknown enzyme within Maxie’s results. First, GH staff and Maxie’s loved ones were anticipating a full recovery. But now, it’s uncertain if Maxie will ever open her eyes again.

Basically, she put her on blast and unknowingly made her a target. The thing is that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is smitten over Sidwell, jovial over Jenz. She acts like a blubbering teen with she’s around him which could only mean that she’s clouded by the lavender haze of falling in love. Or whatever that feeling is for Lucy.

Now it’s predicted that because of Lucy and her over sharing tendencies, Sidwell took action to keep Maxie quiet. How will she feel when she not only discovers who Jenz really is, but also having the wait of what happened to Maxie on her shoulders?

Most of Maxie’s loved ones have the fear and worry written all over their faces, but guilt and remorse isn’t noticeable. I wonder if that’s because no one else at that hospital has reason to feel guilt and remorse over Maxie’s condition? So, who poisoned Maxie with Deception’s youth cream? Was it Brook Lynn who went to extreme measures to keep Maxie from going to the PCPD?

General Hospital recaps recall that Maxie was on the air promoting Deception’s youth cream when she began to feel faint and then collapsed. She currently stands alone in her opinion about whether or not the ladies of Deception should go to the PCPD with information on Sonny’s dirty money. Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) influence over Lucy (Lynn Herring), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has Maxie as the rogue ranger in this situation.

That means she can’t be involved in helping put his grandpa, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), in jail. She’s desperate to build a bond with her son, and when I say desperate, I mean desperate. But would she risk Maxie’s life to avoid more wrath from Gio? Maybe. But definitely not if she knew the potentially life threatening risk.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) isn’t know to back down or go against her own opinions and instincts. That’s why it’s no surprise that she wants to go against the grain and take a stand against her business partner’s decision. In fact, she wasn’t even afraid of letting Sidwell (Carlo Rota) himself know her take on the situation at hand. Maxie likes Sonny just as much as the next guy, but she has children to look out for.

According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Kirsten Storms is set to exit General Hospital temporarily. Fans speculate that this incident could tie into her departure. Is this where Maxie’s exit storyline begins?

So, what we want to know now is how this could have happened. Was it as simple as Maxie having an allergic reaction to Deception’s latest product? Or is it something much more sinister?

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sidwell wants to shut Maxie up. He can’t risk her going to Mac (John J. York) to report the dirty money tied to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It’s possible that there was something extremely toxic in that cream she demonstrated on air. If that’s true then the odds are that it can’t be chalked up to “a product gone bad,” or even an allergic reaction. Instead, GH rumors tease that Maxie was intentionally poisoned.

Last month, General Hospital star Kirsten Storms confirmed her exit from the daytime drama. The long time fan favorite is moving to Tennessee and took time off for the big move. Reportedly, Storms assured fans that she WILL return to General Hospital as Maxie Jones.

General Hospital recaps recall that Mr. Sidwell got an ear full when James reminded him exactly who Maxie’s father is. As the PCPD’s Chief of Detectives, Mac Scorpio is a direct link for Maxie to come forward.

Sidwell is well aware of Maxie’s stance on the whole Deception, dirty-money scandal, and he isn’t too happy about it. So now that’s two strikes against Maxie in Sidwell’s eyes. She’s become an even bigger threat to his nefarious plans after being reminded that Mac is her dad.

Moreover, Tracy fears that Maxie will go rogue, and go to the PCPD about the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) financial findings. If Sidwell catches wind of it, will he do whatever he deems necessary to stop Maxie?

It sounds like Maxie could find herself bumped out of Sidwell’s good graces. Unfortunately, being the mysterious mobster’s enemy is quite dangerous. Just ask Sonny Corinthos. GH rumors speculate that Sidwell kidnaps Maxie and James to prevent her from going to the police. Other rumors suggest that either Maxie or James gets kidnapped as opposed to both.

How will Maxie be written out? If James is kidnapped, Maxie could set out on a quest to find him. Or, Maxie herself is kidnapped and kept from going to Mac and the PCPD with information.

Whatever the story, GH fans anticipate the “freak out” that Kirsten promises.
