We just learned that Ronnie inherits the Quartermaine mansion! Now what?! This week is nothing short of intense and it’s only Tuesday. According toGeneral Hospital recaps, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) could be pregnant, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has nothing to lose, Joss (Eden McCoy) and Jack (Chris McKenna) continue to lie to Carly, and Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) is the proud owner of the Quartermaine mansion.
Coming up on General Hospital, Tracy is infuriated by what was stated in Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) will. Along with one solitary jar of Pickle Lila Relish, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) inherited a big fat nothing from Monica. But Tracy isn’t the only one who was seemingly cheated out of their inheritance. Apparently, the entire family expected that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was to inherit the house from his grandmother Monica. Instead, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) revealed a very different outcome. In a shocking twist, Monica’s long-lost stray sister Ronnie inherited the Quartermaine mansion.
General Hospital spoilersand previews reveal that Tracy takes this up with Alexis, but there’s nothing that Alexis can do. Will Tracy dig deeper but there’s into how and why Monica would leave her home to her sister Veronica? Is Monica’s sister really as innocent as she portrays, or could she have manipulated Monica before she died?
If Ronnie isn’t behind this devastating development in the aftermath of Monica’s passing, then who is? Two words Martin Gray. Do you agree?
General Hospital: Martin Holds The Secret To Monica’s Past
It’s only Monday and this week is already off to an intense start. Port Charles is upside down after learning that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) passed away. Emotions are peaking as it gets closer to saying goodbye. A mystery unfolds as Martin reveals Monica’s secret …sister?!
It doesn’t matter who you are, or what side of the law you represent. Monica respected everyone, and everyone respected Monica. She was a true class act, and class act memorial service is what she’s given.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Monica’s memorial pays the utmost respect to Charleson’s work as Monica Quartermaine (the late Leslie Charleson). Additionally, GH previews indicate that General Hospital’s special storyline tribute is not without mystery, suspense, and surprise.
Reportedly, Martin Gray (Michael Easton) makes a mysterious phone call. Stella catches him in the act, and puts him on the spot. Could the phone call and the mystery letter with Monica’s name on it be connected to her long-lost sister? Erika Slezak makes her General Hospital debut this week.
General Hospital: Tracy and Jason Bond Over Monica
This week on General Hospital, sad news hits Port Charles. Jason (Quartermaine) Morgan is at the heart a family situation that is full of some strong emotions. A family matriarch has died and her family is left with their memories of strength, kindness, beauty, and accomplishments. Jason and Tracy’s connection strengthens as they bond over their grief. Sadly, Jason reports Monica Quartermaine’s death.
Coming up on General Hospital, the Quartermaine family is devastated by the news of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) passing. According to General Hospital spoilers, the family comes together during this difficult time. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) expresses some regret, and he and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) have a heart to heart.
For months, the Quartermaines have done all they can to ensure that Monica was happy and comfortable. She fell ill, and remained in bed for some time. The storyline has been inching toward this moment for a while, and now the time has come and the Qs face this great loss.
The Loss Of A Matriarch
Monica was the one who held the Quartermaine family together, and mainly under one roof. The Quartermaine mansion is iconic, and she was in charge. After all, it was Monica’s house because Alan gave it to her 😉.
General Hospital news reports confirm that it’s been about eight months since Leslie Charleson’s passing. Reportedly, General Hospital fans have gotten restless. Fans have expressed their interest and concern over when GH would give closure, and pay tribute to Leslie Charleson and her role as Monica Quartermaine. Don’t forget to make sure you have your tissues ready because this one is going to break your heart. Don’t miss a minute as General Hospital delivers an emotional storyline for Monica and Leslie.

General Hospital Poll: Take the GH Poll! Who Should Inherit the Quartermaine Mansion?
Sadly but inevitably, the acknowledgment of Monica Quartermaine and Leslie Charleson’s death is imminent. It’s been about 7 month since the GH star passed away. She was 79 years old.
Lately, any mention of Monica Quartermaine addresses the fact that she has fallen ill. Some days she’s not even well enough to have visitors up to her room. Obviously, the writers have set the stage for this tearful storyline about Monica’s death.
Aside from the long overdue tribute to Leslie Charleson, emotional goodbyes will be had all around Port Charles as they grieve over Monica’s death. Monica leaves a legacy and an iconic Port Charles landmark behind. She owns the Quartermaine mansion. Indeed, it’s Monica’s house- because Alan gave it to her.
Coming up on General Hospital, GH news reports confirm that Erika Slezak debuts this fall. However, she won’t be playing her ever-popular role as Vikki/Nikki Lord. Instead, she leaves Vikki and Llanview behind. Recently, GH rumors predict that Slezak will arrive in Port Charles as part of Monica’s death storyline. Additional rumors hint that she plays Monica’s long lost sister. So, no matter who Monica planned on leaving her home to, it may just be that the decisions is out of anyone’s hands. Will Monica’s sister come to claim the Q mansion? Or will it be left to a real Quartermaine, and the legacy will live on?
GH Poll: Who Should Inherit The Quartermaine Mansion?
General Hospital: Monica Leaves Her House To Tracy?
After all, it’s Monica’s house, Alan gave it to her. And that means Monica can leave her house to anyone she wants to. It just so happens that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is Alan Quartermaine’s (the late Stuart Damon) sister.
Traditionally, the house should stay in the family, and then a decision can be made down the road to either keep it, or to put it up on the market. General Hospital fans know the long running joke about Alan, Monica, Tracy, and the Quartermaine mansion. Back in the day and I throughout her marriage to Alan, Monica and Tracy were far from friends- let alone cared for each other like family. But being sister in laws through Alan, things evolved over the years. But first, we can’t forget how much Tracy hated the fact that Alan gave Monica the house.
It’s Tracy‘s house. Monica Gave It To Her
Coming up on General Hospital, the 63 year old daytime drama addresses the iconic Leslie Charleson’s passing. Reportedly, Leslie Charleson died on January 12, 2025. It’s been over a half a year since the GH star’s passing, and the current storyline has Monica Quartermaine (the late Leslie Charleson) laid up in her room, feeling ill.
According to GH rumors, soon the storyline will reflect Charleson’s passing, and Monica too will pass away. That leaves GH fans with the burning question of who will get Monica’s house?! Sadly, it’s the end of an era , and the Quartermaine mansion is about to get a new owner.
It’s Monica’s house because Alan gave it to her. So who will Monica pass it on to? The Quartermaine mansion is iconic, and an iconic character should inherit the family home. GH rumors tease that Monica gives the house to Tracy Quartermaine.
However, it has been confirmed that daytime television legend Erika Slezak has joined General Hospital. The popular One Life to Live star debuts as an original, but short-term role. According to recent GH, rumors fans speculate that Slezak has been cast to play Monica‘s secret, or long-lost sister. Will she and Tracy butt heads just like Monica and Tracy had done over the years?
General Hospital: Daytime Emmy Winner Denise Alexander Dies At 85
GH’s Denise Alexander Lesley Webber Dies At 85. On April 1st, 2024, the longest running television drama celebrated its 62nd year on air. The internationally known Daytime Drama series has brought forth many talented faces to fame. Many of the actors who became household names started on General Hospital in the earlier stages of production. Amazingly, many of our favorite characters from the early days on GH live on through the younger generations.
Denise Alexander was brought on after failed negotiations with her employer at the time, Days Of Our Lives. It just still happens that Gener
According to General Hospital news, Denise Alexander won a Daytime Emmy for her role as Lesly Webber in 1975. As Laura Webber’s mom, and her involvement in a love triangle with Alan and Monica Quartermaine, Denise took Lesley Webber’s popularity to unexpected heights. Despite her popularity, Lesley will killed off in 1984, just to return from the dead in 1996. Reportedly, Denise’s last GH appearance was back in 2021.
Sadly, General Hospital news reports confirm that Denise Alexander has died. Sources state the she died on March 5th, 2025. She was 85 years old. TV daughter, Genie Francis (Laura Webber Spencer Collins) has nothing hit positive things to say about Denise. She told TV Insider. “I loved her. She loved me. I stole her good stuff. When I look at myself sometimes on television… I have been kind of taken aback because I realized I just did Denise… I was so young, she imprinted on me. And some of my style of acting was directly imprinted on me by Denise Alexander. And she was very, very good to me as I was growing up.”
Denise Alexander will be missed. And her memory lives on in her tv family, especially Laura, Lucky, and Lulu Spencer. General Hospital has lost another icon. Rest In Peace Denise Alexander (Lesley Webber).
General Hospital: Denise Alexander (Dr. Lesley Webber) and Genie Francis (Laura Webber Spencer)
It’s Monica’s house! Alan gave it to her! It is with great sadness that General Hospital Blog shares unfortunate news. Reports confirm the passing of a television icon and beloved General Hospital star, Leslie Charleson.
Now, we reminisce on unforgettable memories throughout the years. My favorites include. Monica and Tracy’s rivalry, Monica’s favoritism for Jason aka Golden Boy, and Thanksgiving pizza, and much more.
Undoubtedly, the Daytime TV world and soap opera community endures another loss among the GH cast. General Hospital news reports confirm that General Hospital legend, Leslie Charleson has died. Sadly, General Hospital cast and crew has lost one of their nearest and dearest, and the General Hospital fandom also mourns this great loss a well.
General Hospital’s Leslie Charleson Has Died
Charleson’s General Hospital journey began in 1977 when she joint the cast as the iconic Monica Quartermaine. Reportedly, Charles played Monica in over 2,000 episodes throughout the years. She appeared on air as recent as December of 2023, and the people of Port Charles mention her from time to time.
According to the latest GH news, Frank Valentini shared his sentiments on behalf of ABC’ General Hospital. GH’s Executive Producer shares the news via Instagram, leaving a heartfelt message. “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson. Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew. I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set. On behalf of everyone at General Hospital, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.” -Frank Valentini
Stuart Damon (Alan Quartermaine) and Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine)
According to online resources, a number of falls contributed to Leslie Charleson’s developed lack of mobility. It was just a week ago when Charles took another fall and was hospitalized. One week later, she passed away. Leslie Charleson was 79 years old.
Leslie’s role as Chief of Staff, Jason and AJ’s mama, Alan’s wife, Tracy’s rival, and so much more will live on in General Hospital’s future. There’s much more story to be told from the Quartermaine mansion, where the family can honor the woman who held them all together.
General Hospital Blog shares love, prayers, and condolences to Leslie’s family, loved ones, and supporters. May she rest in peace, and may her life be celebrated by all who knew her.m
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to Port Charles in March after having been presumed dead. His family suffered their loss and grieved for him yet another time. Some relationships have even been strained because of it. Sonny is outraged and Sam wasn’t sold at first. But despite all of the heartache, Jason and his mother remain close. There’s no doubt that Monica adores Jason, and he respects and loves his mama.
According to GH recaps, Jason and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) son Danny (Ashtyn Antonyzyn) relayed a message to Jason. He said that grandma Monica (Leslie Charleson) wasn’t well enough to make it to Chase and Brooklyn’s wedding. Additionally, Monica requested that Jason attends the wedding in her place. So it is respect for Monica, Jason agreed to represent his mother at the wedding.
Meanwhile, Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brooklyn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) prepare for the biggest day of their lives. Close friends and family gather together to support the couple as they say I Do. There isn’t a soul in Port Charles who would object to this union, which ensure that no one will have to speak now or forever hold their peace. However, General Hospital spoilers and rumors indicate an even more perilous interruption.
Jason and Danny Morgan
Monica Regrets Sending JasonIn Her Place
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Jason becomes victim to Sonny’s bullet while trying to save Dex. Previously, GH Blog shared the latest GH rumors and spoilers for this week. Apparently, Sonny shoots Dex and Jason takes a bullet for his son. Other GH rumors suggest that Danny is shot with a bullet that was intended for Dex. No matter how you slice it, the loves of Monica’s son, grandson, and possibly a second grandson are at risk.
It’s looking more and more like the GH rumors about Jason and Dex are true. Did Sonny shoot Jason’s son? And will Jason die a hero for saving Dex? GH rumors hint that Danny could be the one who Sonny shoots- inadvertently of course.
Sadly, Monica’s health keeps her away from BLQ’s big day. She knew she could count on Jason to take her place, but what will it cost? Jason’s life is at risk and possibly her grandson’s too!
*🎤Sings * “One of these things is not like the other.” When I think of General Hospital’s iconic Quartermaine family certain traits and characteristics come flooding to mind. Aside from a strong family unit, the Qs give “corporate” vibes.
Over the years, Edward and Lila, and Alan and Monica created an image and reputation that lives on today. Cutthroat, conniving, cheating and backstabbing, are just a few of the recognizable Quartermaine traits and characteristics. Similarly, these traits and characteristics hold true as a family and how they run the family business.
Despite having been raised as a Quartermaine, it’s hard to imagine Jason Morgan’s place in the family today. According to GH history, Jason Quartermaine fit prior to his and AJ’s life altering car accident. The former aspiring doctor was as professional and business oriented as a Q can get before his and his family’s life face a drastic change.
Still, Jason is and always will be a Quartermaine. Although Jason strayed away from the family to work for Sonny, he and his mom, Monica Quartermaine’s bond was never broken. Sure, things weee rocky for a while. But Jason always kept Monica close to his heart.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveals an emotion experience for Steve Burton. According to his and Bradford’s event podcast, Burton became so emotional on set that he almost walked off during his scene. As it turns out, Jason really does have feelings! Ha! Just kidding. He obviously has feelings but as Burton stated, Jason doesn’t always wear his emotions on his sleeve.
That said, GH news reveals Steve’s emotional scene involving Jason and Monica. He confessed to Bradford Anderson that he almost walked off set while recently filming a scene. “I was so emotional, I couldn’t even get it out.” He added, “I was literally going to walk off the set,” then he came to a realization about the authenticity of the scene. “Next take, it’s not going to be the same.”
General hospital spoilers reveal that Steve’s emotions kicked up while reading his script. Jason read a letter from Leslie Charleson’s character, Monica Quartermaine. and it said, “I believe in you.”
Evidently, Jason reading the letter from Monica struck a cord with Steve. with concerns surrounding Leslie Charleston‘s health fans can’t help but wonder if something is seriously wrong with the legendary actress. We will continue to keel GH fans updated on the latest GH news, spoilers, and more.
14 years after General Hospital’s 1963 debut, the daytime drama introduced Leslie Charles to the cast. The role of Monica Quartermaine originated in 1976 and was played by Patsy Rahn. When she ended her run as General Hospital’s highly skilled cardiologist, that’s when Charleson stepped in. Ever since Leslie is known for her iconic role on the 60 year old Soap Opera.
Over the years Leslie has displayed her versatile talents as Monica Q. Alan, Tracy, Jason, etc. bring out various sides of this well-rounded character and actress. Additionally, a burned Thanksgiving dinner to facing and surviving breast cancer, Leslie has portrayed many different aspects of Monica. Today, the 79 year old General Hospital legend remains part of the GH cast and family. According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Monica Quartermaine was last seen in mid-December.
Reportedly, General Hospital news reports reveal that Leslie Charleson turns 79 today! She was born on February 22nd, 1945. She was 32 years old when she landed her role as Monica on ABC’s General Hospital.
It’s been a couple of months since Monica has been on screen. We’d love to see more of Monica in that big ole Quartermaine mansion. Preferably sparring with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) per usual. Meanwhile, GH Blog will keep you up to date on Leslie’s GH status as Monica Quartermaine.
