…It just might be Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) lucky day! While it’s true that many would argue otherwise, Ned’s (Wally Kurth) accident could very well be Brook Lynn’s stroke of luck. It’s safe to say that Olivia won’t share BLQ’s sentiments. Instead, odds are that Ned’s misfortune leaves Olivia feeling unmoored as the unexpected incident that left Ned hanging on for dear life.
Oddly enough, Ned’s daughter isn’t the only one who could benefit from his near death experience. According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) breathes a little easier when she learns that Ned woke up with an identity crisis. For obvious reasons, Nina’s pleasantly surprised with Ned’s new persona. Furthermore, while some GH rumors hint that he’s faking the condition, others question why he’d pretend to keep Nina’s secret… unless he’s planning the ultimate exposure and needs time to her or right.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn’s music career has suffered over the past couple years. She went from Singer/Songwriter to Songwriter/Manager when a tragic incident left her unable to sing. Ever since Chase (Josh Swickard) returned to the PCPD, Brook Lynn’s career as a Music Manager providing any managerial support. That being said, General Hospital rumors speculate that BLQ uses her dad’s condition for her own benefit.

Lisa LoCicero’s personal journey! There is nothing more liberating than finding out you can overcome your fears and accomplish something you never thought you could.
General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero’s personal journey proves it’s possible to overcome and accomplish the impossible. The 52 year old Michigan native plays a prominent role on ABC’s General Hospital. She joined the cast back in 2008, bringing a fun and fiery personality to Port Charles. As Olivia Falconeri, LoCicero entertains her audience with honest, raw, and natural talent.
General Hospital news reports recently shared sad news of her father’s passing. General Hospital Blog shared LoCicero’s story after the actress posted the news via social media. Fast forward a few weeks and Lisa LoCicero shares an uplifting story about her recent personal journey.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Lisa posted a video via Instagram displaying her incredible undersea adventure. The actress touches on her fears and insecurities, sharing details of her personal struggles. Her undersea experience served as proof that she can accomplish what she thought to be impossible while honoring her late father’s love for the ocean. Lisa reveals she was hooked to a rock “deep under the ocean.” She continued to describe her experience in the video’s caption. She was down there with a flashlight and around 50 sharks and manta rays, close enough for physical contact.
We are so proud of Lisa for facing this adventure and being able to take pride in her experience! Thank you, Lisa, for the inspiration!
Thanksgiving at the Quartermaine’s is anything but typical. A typical Quartermaine Thanksgiving involves mass chaos stemming from any member of the family or extended family.
General Hospital spoilers reveal this year, the Quartermaine Thanksgiving celebration will seem to be going according to plan, however, things take a turn for the worse. Expect the unexpected as Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) coordinates their Thanksgiving feast.
General Hospital recaps highlight the main events of a classic Thanksgiving with the Quartermaine’s. The arguments, chaos, the ruined bird, pizza, and a special song tie up their gatherings in a nutshell.
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate this family gathering is one to remember as the entire crew watches the destruction unfold.
GH spoilers and previews hint toward more of an Italian style dinner… pizza anyone? You won’t want to miss this year’s Thanksgiving episode. This tradition is held near and dear to the hearts of many General Hospital fans. Let’s see what the people of Port Charles have in store this Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season.
Lisa LoCicero’s father has passed away. As a Grosse Pointe, Michigan native, General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero is from my neck of the woods. Growing up Italian on the East Side of Detroit, family meant something more than just biology.
LoCicero brought her Italian roots to her role as the spitfire from Bensonhurt, Olivia Falconeri. Olivia’s family values closely mirror those of traditional Italian families. She displays her roots when expressing her adoration for her sons Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Leo Jerome Quartermaine (Easton Rocket). Family, food, and prayer mean everything to Olivia.
Family is held in high regard by Olivia’s portrayer Lisa LoCicero as well. General Hospital spoilers reveal LoCicero has taken to Instagram to announce the devastating loss of a close family member.
General Hospital news reports confirm Lisa LoCicero’s (Olivia Falconeri) father has passed away. A recent IG post by LoCicero features childhood photos of herself with her father Robert Moffat, along with photos of her parents, Robert and Mary Moffat.
Lisa LoCicero Says Goodbye to Her Father
We’re not crying, you’re crying! Lisa wrote an emotional goodbye to her father in the caption below her IG post.
I’d hoped this moment would never come. The best dad a girl could ever hope for passed away peacefully, as he lived his life.. surrounded by the love of his family. It still seems unreal that I am finally a member of this sad club.. I’m so old it just felt like I’d go on having a dad forever.. As other members of this club have told me, the grief comes in waves, and it’s not what you expect. Time to grow up a little more, even at my age! Thank you dad, for setting the bar high, for protecting me and always showing us how much we were cherished. I will remember you in healthy, smiling years before time took so many of the things you enjoyed. Death, like all important things is as common as dirt and yet completely unbelievable. I’ll always have you with me Dad..
Our prayers are with Lisa and her family at this difficult time.
Robert and Holly reunite! You won’t want to miss a moment of ABC’s General Hospital when Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) thinks she’s seen a ghost!
This week on General Hospital, it’s like old times when Robert Scorpio is reunited with Holly Sutton (Emma Sutton). Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) long history with devious plots and schemes didn’t miss many people of Port Charles. Robert was deceived by Peter when his lie about Holly’s death was used as a distraction.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Peter’s lies will come undone when Olivia finds Holly alive at the Quartermaine estate. Robert has been mourning the death of his long time love and dear friend, Holly. Anna too had been saddened by the loss of Holly. Between Holly and Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), Robert and Anna lost two of their closest friends.
General Hospital rumors suggest that it’s no coincidence that Holly and Luke’s tragic [alleged] deaths were mysteriously out of left field. GH spoilers hint that Anna has a feeling Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is behind it all.
Maybe Anna and Robert will get more answers once Holly is discovered alive and well. Only she can tell them who was behind her kidnapping. There is a chance that Holly knows what happened to Luke as well. Robert hopes she can give insight into Victor’s plans, while Anna hopes to get to the bottom of what really happened to Luke.
Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) is away from Port Charles for the time being. Victor is currently using this open opportunity to facilitate his plan. Serving as active Mayor during Laura’s absence, Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) is working under Victor as an informant.
Holly could be the key into Victor’s game that Anna and Robert have been looking for. It’s about time Holly and Robert reunite.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Leo (Easton Rocket) The Sicilian Thunderbolt
Finally, some love in the afternoon! If you’re Soap Opera fan then you know this is a common phrase across the daytime television community. Particularly, it’s the daytime soap operas that have a notorious reputation for love and romance. Not to mention the infamous love scenes. Reportedly, GH’s Olivia Falconeri’s Sicilian heritage leads to more love in the afternoon.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that more love is coming to our afternoons as Leo hopes that big brother Dante falls even deeper in love with Sam. Currently, GH’s storyline hones in on love and the Sicilian culture. According to GH spoilers, Olivia’s son Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket) takes matters into his own hands regarding Sam and Dante. In fact, he uses a Sicilian superstition to make Dante and Sam fall deeper in love.
What It The Sicilian Thunderbolt?
The Sicilian Thunderbolt is a way to describe it when love hits like lightning, or, a thunderbolt, when one comes face to face with the person of their destiny.
It’s believed when a man becomes spellbound by the woman he loves, the feeling hits them both with an intensity neither can ignore. Colpo di Fulmine means, “love at first sight,” whole directly translating to “lightning strike.”
Sicilian Superstition
In Sicily, there’s a “love potion” superstition. The Sicilian Thunderbolt concoction is a drink used to make two people see they’re destined to be together. As Olivia describes, when two people want to know if they’re meant to be together, they’ll drink the potion and suddenly everything becomes clear. The clouded outlook is lifted and they will have an awakening, making them certain it’s true love.
The Sicilian Thunderbolt Colpo Di Fulmine
General Hospital spoilers reveal that due to Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) strong ties to her culture, her son Leo is well versed in this legend of love. He took it upon himself to have Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) drink the potion. Instead, the plan goes a little haywire when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) drink the potion and share a kiss.
It’s very real. It happened to me nearly two years ago (with an Italian-American woman no less). You will never be the same. The most amazing moment in my life, without a doubt.
Hello Jared, Thank you so much for answering my request to share a “colpo di fulmine” love story. I wasn’t sure if I should leave a reply here to you, as this is a love letter to Rachel. But my mom said I must write you back, that this is my blog and I should write a quick note to acknowledge it (I have to listen to mom!). Your story is a very special story and is quite beautiful. It made my heart smile and put a tear on my face to read such honest words. It was refreshing to read something so lovely when there is so much hurt happening now in the world. It is a true love story that continues on and and I wish for you and Rachel to be reunited very soon in the UK. Stay safe and wishing you and Rachel all the best! Lora
In the wide range of those who fall under the meddling mothers category, Italian moms are right there among the top of the list. (I’m allowed to say that because I’m an Italian mother ????). Olivia Falconeri from Bensonhurst is no exception.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have hit a snag in the progress of their relationship. General Hospital recaps recall, when Dante asked Sam to move into his home with him, Sam resisted, and for good reason. She revealed that she was uncomfortable to take that step in the home he shared with his wife, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan). Although the two were separated and Dante thought Lulu was about to move on and marry Dustin, she was really about to turn down Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), and try to rekindle with Dante before the tragic accident which left her in a coma.
General Hospital spoilers reveal things have been thrown off track with Dante and his girlfriend Sam ever since the awkward conversation.
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate that Dante’s meddling mom, Olivia, will have a hand in trying to bring Sam closer to her son. In doing so she will have to convince Dante that it’s ok to move on from Lulu while she is fighting for her life.
General Hospital rumors hint that Olivia will make her point during the Quartermaine picnic benefit. Will Dante and Sam listen to Olivia and go for it? GH rumors hint their next step will complicate any chances Dante reuniting with Lulu should she wake up from her coma.
The Quartermaine family is growing, and among the youngest generation of the legendary Port Charles family is the son of Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and the late Julian Jerome (William deVry). Ned Ashton [Quartermaine] adopted Leo making the child an official member of the Quartermaine family.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Easton Rocket joined the cast of General Hospital in August of 2021. General Hospital recaps explain how he and his family went through a rough patch when Olivia and Ned faced his Autism diagnosis. They have come a long way after denial and resistance. Knowing how to care for their son through education and support from others has been extremely beneficial for the whole family.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Easton Rocket is celebrating a one year anniversary as Leo on General Hospital. The young actor has taken to Instagram to express his gratefulness at the opportunity to play this role. Previous GH news reports disclosed Rocket’s real life Autism diagnosis, making the role he plays as Leo all the more authentic.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Rocket’s first scene at GH was at the Metro Court pool, calling out to Dante, saying, “Dante, you’re here!” Easton filled fans in on a little behind the scenes scoop. In his IG video, Easton explains that he calls his Tv mom, Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) “TOM” for TV mom, and she refers to him as “TON” in reference to TV son.
We are happy to celebrate Easton Rocket’s first year at General Hospital and wish him the absolute best. We can’t wait to watch Leo grow up!
So much loss in so little time! Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be making some major adjustments in her life.
She has already accepted the fact that she had to move on from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the love of her life and the man she married FIVE TIMES. He chose a different path, aka Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and Carly isn’t going to wait around for him to sort out his feelings for another woman.
General Hospital recaps remind fans of Carly’s more recent loss, her owner status at The Metro Court Hotel. She and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) have been going halvesies on the hotel for years. It became a second home to them both and their business partnership allowed their true friendship to grow. Now, Carly is left without.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly now has a new mission in life. She’s in need of keeping her mind occupied. General Hospital previews indicate Carly will fixate in one particular person in Port Charles and it isn’t Nina- for now.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Carly will make it her mission to make sure Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) pays for what she has done to her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Trina’s support system is strong. With everyone working tirelessly to prove her innocence and to expose Esme, GH rumors hint that the future is bright for Trina. Having Carly on her side is a win in itself.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been more than a thorn in Carly’s (Laura Wright) side for far too long and it doesn’t look like things will be easing up any time soon.
General Hospital recaps explain that Carly Corinthos has divorced the love of her life, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after Nina kept him captive and lead his family to believe he was dead. What happened next is what set Carly over there edge. Upon his return, Sonny seemingly chose Nina’s side over his own family which resulted in his divorce from Carly.
Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) pulled her weight as co-owner of the Metro Court and one of Carly’s best friends to try and get Nina off the premises. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) came to Nina’s defense, resulting in a small victory for Sonny’s new lady.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that win was just one of many, causing Carly to take one L after another. General Hospital spoilers and previews suggest Carly loses not only Sonny to Nina, but her career as well!
General Hospital spoilers indicate Nina buys the Metro Court right from under Carly, leaving her with nothing!
