A few years ago (I stopped counting) the Corinthos family was turned upside down. Nina Reeves took it upon herself to manipulate and basically imprison a husband and father. She found Sonny in Nixon Falls and nothing has been the same since. Shockingly, Sonny chose his captor over his wife and kids shortly after it was discovered that he wasn’t actually dead. Nope, he had amnesia and Nina took advantage of a man who was suffering from memory loss. Now Sonny’s life has been turned upside down and he points the finger everywhere except for in the mirror. Surely Sonny was Nina’s victim, but he eventually had a choice and he chose her over Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and his kids.
Sonny’s Headed For A Breakdown
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny still suffers the consequences of his choices. So far, his life with Nina has turned into a disaster. Sadly, he continues to throw away life-long relationships even after he and Nina have split. Carly and Jason Morgan have been unfairly accused, regardless of their long and loyal history with Sonny.

Recently, an unexpected source supports Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) during this dangerous time. Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been by his side since Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) and his lollipop licking cousin Mason Gatlin threatened their daughter Avery Corinthos.
Sonny Corinthos is no stranger to mob threats and violence. For the most part, the career criminal knows how to hold his own against the enemy, and the police. Thankfully, Corinthos is a coffee importer and his successful business serves as a protective tool against the law. While Sonny has always made it out alive and on the other side, he didn’t get there all on his own.
The last couple of years have been a bit of an adjustment for Sonny in regard to the business. After losing his right hand man, Morgan (Steve Burton), Sonny’s had to navigate around his enemies without his most trusted supporter. Sadly, Sonny has had to go it alone, making things riskier and more complex.
Can Sonny Corinthos Trust Ava Jerome?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Sonny put his trust in the wrong person without Jason’s guidance on who to and not to trust. Lately, Sonny and Ava’s co-parenting relationship has developed into something deeper. As GH recaps recall, Ava turn to sunny when Austin and Mason were after him and threatened their child. so not only has sunny protected Ava from pikemen and this entire situation. He’s also been dependent on her for support. At one point, Sunny even told Ava that she is the only person he can trust.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sunny has got it all wrong. Strangely enough sunny doesn’t trust the man who has been by his side for over three decades. Instead, he’s put his trust in a woman who had a hand in his son Morgan’s death. And that is not a limitation on her shady behavior.

The past is the past but sometimes history repeats itself. Although Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have never bonded quite like this, they’ve been down a similar road.

Now, they’re family for life.

Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.
Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.
Nina Moved On From Carly
Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Carly is yesterday’s news. I suppose that doesn’t mean that she’s done sticking it to Carly for good, but GH spoilers tease that Nina has an entirely new focus. Apparently Nina has never heard the phrase don’t shoot the messenger. The spite effect that Nina ruined her own marriage she lashed out at Diane for delivering the divorce papers. Will Diane have to watch her back?
As if Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a right to be upset at Laura! Ugh, the nerve. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ava, I do. But her hypocritical ways sometimes have me taking another side. And that’s exactly how I feel about Ava in her fight against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
General Hospital recaps highlight Mayor Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) hand in Esme’s arrest and sentencing. Since Ava wanted to press charges to teach Esme a lesson, she isn’t the happiest camper at the moment. She wanted so badly for Esme to get booked at Pentonville. However, Ace’s grandmother, Mayor Laura pulled some strings.
According to recent GH spoilers, Ava lashes out at Laura. She wants so badly for Esme to pay for her crimes in some way, that she didn’t even consider the baby. Baby Ace is attached to his mother as any child would be to their loving parent. That’s why Laura stepped in and made a deal for Esme. After all, sending Esme to Pentonville wouldn’t be in the best interest of baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).
GJ rumors claim that Ava blames Laura for Esme’s slap on the wrist, and insists that this isn’t over.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has spoken! His wife Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) wants nothing more than to get inside Sonny’s head and find out if he’s about to throw away their entire relationship. She knows what she did was wrong but she defends herself.
Evidently, Nina is master at backhanded apologies. Meaning, she’ll apologize in one breath, and by the next she’s defending her actions. Usually, the defense includes direct finger pointing at another party. It’s weird because it sounds like she takes accountability for at least half, but then she spouts out why everyone else made her do it. It’s interesting to say the least.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina and Sonny remain at odds after he learned of her betrayal. He doesn’t take deception lightly, and Ava Jerome knows it. To be fair, everyone knows it. But for some reason Nina believes that she’s the exception to Sonny’s standards. She may have gotten away with the unthinkable, but General Hospital previews indicate that Sonny goes ahead and makes plans that he can’t go back on.
Ava warns Nina about Sonny, as she knows his patterns. Meanwhile, Sonny needs a favor. He needs something done that can’t be taken back. And his plans don’t include his wife.
If it were up to Spencer, Esme would have been out of his life completely. But the reason he’d like to forget her existence is the exact reason she’s still around. It’s a known fact that Esme slept with Spencer’s own father, Nikolas Cassadine. That, along with all of her other heinous deeds is why Spencer wishes he never said his ex-girlfriend ever again. Can you blame him? Who would forgive that type of betrayal?
Ironically, Spencer and Esme are connected for life now that she and Nikolas have Spencer a little brother. Spencer would do ANYTHING to be a part of baby Ace’s life, including tolerate Esme’s presence. GH recaps recall that Spencer first wanted custody of his brother which would remove him from his mother’s (Esme’s) care. Things didn’t work out as planned and Spencer and Esme are even civil to one another. Prior to her flashbacks, Esme began to feel something for her old flame. The tension was too much because he’s happy with Trina, so Esme did what she had to do. Spencer and Esme have been getting along for Ace’s sake, but what will come of her newfound memories?
Ava And Esme Battle It Out, Spencer Sides With Esme?!
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Ava’s spiteful behavior in response to Esme’s petty crime will hurt Ava more than Esme. Apparently, Ava’s plan to teach Esme a lesson kickstarts round two . She’s got her old self buried down inside and parts have already come to the surface. All she needed was that little push to send herself back in time.
Ultimately, Ava sets off Esme! According to GH rumors, history repeats itself when Esme doesn’t go it alone. Spencer has watched Esme grow from the college criminal to a good mother in a short time. He knows that she’s a good mother and Ace wound be lost with out her at this point. That said, recent General Hospital spoilers hint that Spencer sides with Esme and ends up joining forces against Ava. But what he doesn’t know is that Esme plans for revenge on his grandmother as well. It’s only obvious that Esme goes after Laura. She has to point the finger somewhere, and Laura made her confess.
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) broke into Wyndemere, got caught, confessed, and told a few little white lies. For now, she’s not the same person that she used to be, and she tried so hard to become better than her reputation.
But like Ava Jerome said, “a leopard never changes her spots.” Although Esme couldn’t remember who she was, that doesn’t mean she isn’t that same girl deep down. Besides, odds are that her small flashbacks of her past life will increase. According to GH spoilers and rumors, soon Esme’s understanding of her life is restored and takes over. That’s when she’ll full embrace the woman she was when she destroyed many lives. Until then, she’s just a young mother trying to do right by her son, trying to avoid her dark past.
However, gray area shades the situation, making Esme’s identity and intentions murky territory. Now that she’s had flashbacks, her old dark ways have already intercalated into her new life. GH spoilers hint that Esme tries to overcome her intrusive thoughts but things take a sudden turn.
The latest GH spoilers indicate that Ava Jerome (Maura West) drives Esme to the brink! Now, she blames Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) for making her confess and Ava obviously for pressing charges. According to GH rumors, Esme targets Laura and Ava as a result of her punishment received. Apparently, that’s when Esme takes that 180° and turns it into a full 360°. Sooner rather than later, Esme’s back to her old self.
Nikolas Cassadine has mystified himself by his cryptic disappearance and weird bank account activities over seas. No one has had a clue of his whereabouts for months, including his children, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).
General Hospital recaps recall Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine’s troubled relationship. Once upon a time Nikolas and his son Spencer were a happy little family. Over time their bond deteriorated due to selfishness and vengeance. As for Nikolas’s son Ace, he doesn’t even know him. Ace is just a baby, and Nik disappeared just as he was being born.
Nikolas Cassadine Visits Ava
Reportedly, GH News confirms that Adam Huss returns to reports his role as Nikolas Cassadine. He was last on the show back in early September of 2023. After months of speculation and fan discussion over who will play Nikolas Cassadine, Huss has stepped back into the role. Prior to Huss, Nikolas was most recently played by Marcus Coloma until his 2023 exit. Back in early Fall the news broke that Coloma’s contract would not renew. Sadly, Marcus’s three years as Nikolas was over and dans weren’t happy. Before his sudden death, Nikolas Cassadine’s original portrayer, Tyler Christopher was rumored as a possible candidate for the role post Marcus’s exit. Unfortunately, his tragic death devastated fans and loved ones.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nikolas is back to get revenge on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), the mother of son, Ace. It’s no secret that she and her father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) set out to destroy Nikolas and Ava’s marriage, and succeeded.
